uugh. I do not like these Linguistics essay prompts very much.
The first one: "What do you know when you know a language?"
The one I'm supposed to be working on now: "What is word?"
They make for interesting CONVERSATIONS, but writing about them is kind of difficult. @_@;

Oh Meri, those wings are simply beautiful!
I've been drawing, too - lately I discovered Top Gear, which is probably my new favorite show, and I'm working on a fan comic in which they review the three (in my opinion) best fictional cars. At one page per car, it's the longest comic I've ever drawn (and indeed the first with more than one page at all), and it's also only the second time I've ever drawn a car at all. CARS ARE HARD.
