Damn, I'm not really sure how- I get art nore than anything. Like breathing, really.
*Deep breath* So...anyways colors are divided into warm and cool colors. Red, yellow and orange and any combination thereof are considered "warm" colors. As fpllows, blue, green and purple are all cool colors. Every color has a contrast. They are as follows:
Red/Green Yellow/Purple Blue/Orange.
On the left, are the primary colors, on the right- the secondary colors. Primary colors cannot be made with any combination of other colors, like the secondarys can be.
Because of a contrast between two colors, when they are placed next to each other, each color is seen as more vivid. Contrasting colors are thusly also known as complementary colors.
Since Azura-Sensei's skin tone is a warm-toned brown, and her boots are cool-toned, the contrast is more visible than the cool colors against a sterile white.
Sorry about the text wall....what can I say? My uncle's and artist, my aunt's an artist, my gran and my mum could both be great interior designers, my dad's had 2 full-time jobs in his entire life- both centering around color- and I took foundations in art with an awesomne teacher 2 semester's ago. Also, I think in color, sound, words and scent. (Not so much numbers or pictures though) so when it comes to that, it's second nature.
So...uh....yeah.... sweatdrop

Oohh...Haha, you see, all I know about colors are about light spectrums and that stuffs, and wavelengths, LMAO. Like a wavelength of a certain hertz or something would be a certain color, like 1x10 to the -14.2 was like indigo or blue. It was something I learned in chemistry and it was some damn fun math too... >.<

MAD for a seraph<<Oh, I get it. 3nodding I understand art more than anything too. xp But our eyes work differently, I guess. *shrugs* To me, the boots stood out more when I was wearing the leggings because the blue was a lot darker against that bright white.
Your family background sounds interesting, Tabby! I wish I were born to the artistically inclined. xp I think I'm the odd one so far; artistically inclined while the rest of them are number-crunchers. Dx
@Raitokage: I wholeheartedly agree. >>Caught in her DELUSIONS

@Raitokage: I wholeheartedly agree. >>Caught in her DELUSIONS Ah ha ha ha...you don't know the half of it. sweatdrop But I mean, that's still a very small part of my familt. Most of them are nurses or another type of professional. Alot of 'em are jocks too, where as I am the girl who took volleyball in gym, because it didn't require running. I wish I was good at math, I mean, I'm good with percentages and stuff, but my family has a history of dyslexia- so I get alot of the numbers and symbols wrong. My mom explained it as "Your mind works so fast, but your eyes can't keep up." Which sucks, because then I stutter and mispronounce words when I read aloud..... stupid eyes....

*sniffle* Everyone is against math...ToT...
But most of the people in my family either go into medicine, science, or engineering. So math is important to most of them.

MAD for a seraph<<Is it just me, or is that a trend among Filipino families? Yeah, most of my family turned out that way too. My parents are accountants, my uncles are in engineering, I think one of my aunts is a chemist, I have a cousin who went for nursing, another who follows after his dad and went for engineering, his sister's taking psychology... I have one cousin who I think is artistically inclined (she draws lots of anime style 0_0) but just wants to keep it a hobby. She went for studying Computer Applications.
So yeah, I pretty much am the only one who's making an effort toward a future in the field of arts. eek >>Caught in her DELUSIONS

I feel your pain....quite literally, actually. Only my arm pain is from swimming and sleeping in a really weird position.

I'm isolated from a huge majority of my family, so I'm not sure where others are going, but I'm not inclined artistically or mathematically. I'm more into history and social studies.
