((I'm so sorry for not posting sweatdrop I'd ask that you all bear with for another while. This weekend happened to be the OTAKUTHON weekend here in Montreal. Needless to say I was occupied having fun at the anime con, so I didn't get around to posting.

I'm dead tired now, and I would post despite that if I were at my place. I'm at my girlfriend's house and I'd rather not keep her awake with all the typing sweatdrop Quick and simple solution, someone (preferably Griffin or Stoic) can do as they will with my character until I can get back to controlling him next weekend. I'll update myself before posting and ask any questions just to be sure I got all the will-be goings-on when I'm back.

((How did I get stuck with Damiano? 5 for me....I'm going to assume there is nothing more to fight in the passageway.))

The mage upon hearing Tura's words Immediately gathered a spell to break through the barrier separating them from the last combatant.
"Arcessere ignis!" He cried as a stream of fire bore straight through the wall of ice, creating a miniature stream as it did so.
Jumping nimbly through he took one look at Minatsuki and motioned towards a window.
"Shall we?"
Tura slipped through the hole in the ice and shook the water from her wings.
She said, casting about the hallway and taking in the mass amounts of damage created by the fight.
By the time she reached the window Damiano had already thrown it wide open and Ark had separated himself once more, soaring higher into the sky and curling back to pick his combatant up in a flyby.
Like everything they did it was elegant and calculated. Damiano leaping out of the window and catching his creature's back perfectly as the dragon shot past.
Tura climbed carefully onto the windowsill, taking a far leap away from the building before spreading her ebony wings.
She called to both other creatures as she climbed higher in the sky. If they hurried they may be able to reach them by dawn.
With one powerful down stroke she started off, taking a final look at the castle as it sank slowly behind her.

((Your queue Blood.))

(( Ermm... Four, I guess. Sai is still asleep? Wow, it's been awhile since we've done anything with Sai and Kin. Kin is just waiting for Sai to recover.))

((Aww! *points to Stoic's sig* Dat's me! whee I hope people don't mind but I'm going to make it dawn in this post. I'm sure Stoic and Azure would want control of their characters again.))

Damiano pulled Ark round for another pass at the building, allowing Minatsuki to jump behind him. Ark being the size that he was had no difficulty with the extra weight.

Vilya hardly slept that night. Ever since she had left her village Tura had been there, sleeping beside her. Only now did she realize just how much she missed the gryphon and her wings folded protectively over Vilya's back.
She cast about the small clearing for the hundredth time, just now making out the faint shapes of her companions as the gray light of dawn crept slowly over the trees.
She shivered once, trying to ignore the damp chill of the air. That was another thing she missed; Tura's heat and drying spells. When she was this tired Vilya did not trust herself to control the spell properly, so she did not attempt it.
She breathed deeply. At least the air was fresh here. She wondered where they would go next. Sai as far as she knew was still being hunted, would they ever be able to set foot in a town again?
The soft, distant beating of wings jerked Vilya out of her thoughts.
An eagle maybe? As the sound grew louder she abandoned that notion entirely, it was far too big...Could it be?
As soon as the thought crossed her mind she jumped to her feet and scanned the skies.
The sound died and for a moment she thought she may have imagined it.
Suddenly a huge black shape hurtled over the canopy, banking and spiraling to land in the dead center of the clearing.

Vilya said nothing, only ran forward and flung her arms around the gryphon's neck, burying her face in Tura's soft hackles.
"The next time I decide to go off without you, do me a favor and don't let me." She whispered into the feathers.
Tura felt Vilya's damp shirt and felt the young girl shiver slightly.
She exclaimed, reciting a small heating spell that had her companion dry and warm in seconds.
Vilya thought back with a laugh.

((Alright, only numbers 3 and 7 are left and the only people left are Burakku and Kazumi, if they're still with us, haven't seen a post from either of them in a while.))

Stratus awakened with the first gray light of dawn. He had been sleeping extremely lightly so he would awake at the slightest sign of danger so that he could protect his partner. He could still feel Sai breathing the deep breaths of sleep against him where he was concealed by Stratus wing. As far as he could tell it had been roughly six or seven hours since they had fled the castle and arrived in the small forest clearing where they now rested.

Stratus said into his partners mind, gently and quietly.

Sai did not respond, other than to snore slightly, so Stratus nudged him slightly and whispered into his mind again. This produced a slightly louder snore.

Alright, he has had plenty of sleep and time to recuperate from yesterday, now it is time to awaken...

Stratus spoke into Sais mind once again, this time not so gently or quietly. As he spoke he whipped his wing up and off of his sleeping partner, letting the gray pre-dawn light and a spattering of raindrops fall upon him.

Sai snapped awake almost instantly. His hands went to his weapons in a flash while his eyes darted around. He quickly realized that there was no threat, however, and released his hold on his staff and sword and relaxed slightly.

Stratus said seriously.







While Sai had been frantically searching for whatever threat had awakened him he had noticed Kin standing off to one side of the clearing they occupied. And Vilya was embracing Tura on another side. He rose to his feet, and Stratus uncoiled himself from around Sai and stood behind him, and walked to the center of the clearing.

"Morning, guys." He called out to his allies.

(( *Sigh* This RP has so many people. *Glares at Stoic* ))


"Mind explaining everything that happened hours ago? If I weren't camping out at the right gate at the right time, you would have left me behind." Kin spoke in a serious and at the same time irritated tone, knowing Sai must have gotten himself into something troublesome.

Vix interrupted Kin within his mind.

Kin thought back, irritated with his situation. Right when Combatants started gathering and Kin was deciding who he wanted to target first, another event occurs to hinder him.
