A snicker. "Survivor's guilt is what that's called. It's a comsuming thing. And though you say you understand that all pirates are the same is a crime in and of itself. But I don't expect less from you. You all stab each other in the backs and twist the knives faster and more sure and deep than any drow would." Crossing her arms before holding one out, Chylithair promptly swooping to land on her arm, a lizard of some sorts in his beak. "No, I don't find it amusing. I think it's a wast of time and life to spend what you do have so foolishly. And living in one's past so often is useless...you humans can forget, we elves can't. Yet you all claim to suffer more. I call it weak."

"Well Hunter, you could say you have no sense in picking your deals, if you're so concerned about who's on his little voyage of yours. You're right stubborn as you've ever been." Picking at her nails some...she didn't raise her voice in such arguments, a good woman spoke softly and carried a pistol. Walking over she pat Hunter on the cheek. "Oh hang up your boots for a bit, no one trusts anyone anymore. And I hardly call a shot in the bum a bad injury. Quite cute actually."

Kind of aloof at the moment though and then a laugh before looking to Hunter with the, 'you're in trouble with mommy' look. "How about I propose a deal. Hunter, you take yours through the bog, I'll take all those willing not to go and I can get the pay you would of for this particular stretch of the journey, then give them back and you can resume such things. I make a quick buck, they don't have to go through danger, and you get to have your fun and eventually your loot. Who knows, maybe you will get there first and can ransack the place. You like that." But a look to Thobias, nodding lightly at him before letting her eyes turn back to the others. Then a shrug as Hunter had continued. "Good Captain can make a crew in moments. I'd snap them right together if I were any of you ringleaders."

"Knives dull eventually. Sometimes it just takes a long time. And yes, I know...thus why I say it so I know you won't lie to me to spare my feelings. I hate being lead on as such with lies." But she nodded at it as it more or less said its peice. Wow, was nice to know the negatives that were truths wasn't it? Didn't exactly make her happy, but she had asked for the truth and had gotten it...usually the truth wasn't too pleasant. "Hm..." Simple response for the moment, thinking over things a bit more. "I suppose I do. He certinally wouldn't be the first, though he is the first one to really put up with me." Giving a shrug and appearing not too down trodden, she knew it would do her no good to be so. Dropping her hand she shook her head. "Nevermind it, just curious."

She allowed Kaznec to speak, pleased his thoughts were matching hers. Her eyes snapped to Hunter and she dropped the knife but it never hit the ground. Instead it lifted and hovered in the air before she reached out and snatched it then tossed it between her hands. "I will not answer your petty questions and allow you to point fingers Captain Deacon, understand that right now. I chose who I chose for reasons above your comprehension. I could tell you why I chose them but you're a human and cannot see the big picture. Rather common in fact."

She stepped up to him and set the knife in his hand. "You have demonstrated more than once that lives mean nothing to you when it comes to your gems and riches. Therefore, we will follow Captain Nereem's plan. Those I have chosen will go with me and we will hand half of your loot to Gem. Preparations to move those should be made immediately. Kaznec, come, we will inform the others." Turning, she walked out of cabin, clearly showing Hunter that the conversation was over.

Shyrae glanced between them and shook her head. A tilt of her head at Hunter and she frowned. "I'm sorry Captain Deacon. I understand your worry and I appreciate it. I also understand your desire to have an adventure. Some people are just very cautious but that's not always a bad thing. At least you get to loot, right?" She nodded, knowing he probably wanted to be alone and slipped out of the cabin, pulling the door closed behind her.

He was a tad hesitant about leaving Shyrae where she was but decided that the elf could take care of herself and might be offended if he thought any less than that. Thus, nodding curtly to both captains, he followed Eilynne back out onto deck and waved the few members of their group over. "There has been a slight change in plans. Certain disagreements regarding our route has led the Lady to decide that we will board the Gale Claw and follow its captain to our next destination. Captain Deacon will join us there, taking his own choice of path."

"I never lie. It's probably not in my nature." Xeke remained quiet as she did and stayed hovering in place as she dropped her hand. "You shouldn't worry so much though, he doesn't think of it as 'putting up' with you either." The Seon was aware when the Laerethe and Kaz returned though and bobbed once, giving her its final say in the matter. "He thinks of you as a friend. That's good enough isn't it?" Attention turned onto the little gathering now, it seemed like they were moving ships soon...

"I love me. Don't worry Hunt, I'll make sure you get some good rum out of it, and I'll even keep my crew from looting the first place we go to and you can have all the fun there. 'Kay?" Hey she had no qualms about it. Hawk had used her in the exact same ways before, it was payback that she was winning.

"Yeah...it is..." Well, she didn't know if she believed the seon or not, that was for her to decide on, perhaps later. Lightly her attention turned to the group meeting that was going on, she had stayed on the nearby railing. Well, wasn't that a grand thing? More problems...not that that bothered her, heck if she got sick of it, she'd just go natural and make it there in half the time and wait for them. She was here for adventure anyway. A slight look to Xeke once more. "Thanks...you can go back to Commander now." Seeing as he was giving orders and such it seemed fitting.

Caden was minding his own business as usual when sudden he was called over by the commander, he quickly pushed the spyglass back to its smaller size and after putting it in his pocket he wandered over to see what was going on. "Well then if that's the way it is then fine by me." He had no objections to move onto the Gale Claw since it seemed that Captain Hunter said something to upset the commander and the Laerethe in order for them to be moving. "So I guess that mean's we should be packing up now." He muttered to himself as his hand touched the spyglass in his pocket, but really all he wanted to do now was gaze through the lense, to see what he could see instead of trying to find something farther out by squinting his eyes.

Shyrae stepped back on deck and gazed around then located Savvy talking to Kronos. Crossing the deck she gave them both a smile. "Sorry to interrupt you two but we have some moving to do. We're going to be on the Gale Claw for a little bit. The Chimera is taking a shortcut that the Laerethe and Kaznec don't agree with so we're going with the other captain instead. Kronos, if you're up for an adventure and possibly losing your life or something of those sorts, you're welcome to stay here. I'm going to grab our bags." Nodding to Kaznec as he repeated the same announcement she'd just made.

Eilynne glnaced between them all and nodded. "If you wish to stay here, you may at your own risk and possible peril. Captain Deacon ensures we'll all survive this voyage. I leave the decision in your individual hands." Nodding to them all, she turned once again and gathered up her things from her cabin, then knocked on Hunter's cabin. "Captain Nereem, if you would be so kind to show me where you'd like us to stay."

Kronos smirked again. "Though I cannot deny the fact that we are weak, I cannot help but notice that you seem to find nothing worth saving about the human race." he said with a slight sigh. "And in many aspects you're right. We've been the catalyst of countless wars both on this plane and others. But frankly I would have it no other way, I happen to like the fact that I'm not going to be around in 100 years, frankly eternity seems like a worse punishment then anything we humans could invent." he shrugged.

Kronos smiled at Shyrae as he walked over and could not help but c**k an eyebrow at the comment that she was making. "No, Lady Shyrae, you heard Lord Kaznec. We go aboard another pirate ship, it would be suicide for me to remain on this ship, safety in numbers and all that." he smirked. Kronos detested pirates, it didn't matter what ship he was on, it was still a pirate ship, but he wasn't that stupid to stay alone on a ship whose captain he had insulted.

Turning to Raynes briefly, he nodded. "Good. I assume we will be leaving soon so get your things in order and follow the group." His eyes passed over each, glad that they all seemed to be making the wise choice and staying with the Laerethe's decision. Though a look down to his wrist as the blue light circled it, his attention went back to the dragonness he'd left and he moved to her side. "Come on, Jae. We should grab our things as well and move to the other ship." And flying back up to the crow's nest and helping pack things up. "Xeke kept you company?"

So, they were actually going to whole heartedly look for things now? Good idea that he left a bread crumb trail. But now that things were as they were...well he had some shopping to do as well as some plans to readjust.Very well couldn't let them sniff too close now could he?

"You all find no worth in yourselves. How you value yourselves tells others of your value. You've explained quite nicely how worthless you think of yourself and your race." Dismissive wave as she pet Chylithair. "My my, that's an insult to an elf if I ever heard one. Eternity is not the enemy nor the issue...you'd know that if you weren't blinder than me." Final words on the subject it seemed as she turned to Shyrae at her voice. "Whichever, I'm riding for a while. I can't stand these humans and thier thinking at the moment." Thusly whistling for her nightmare and heading off to the creature.

"Right, whatever you say." Quick follow back up to where she had made her little place on the ship and throwing things in her packs. "I guess you could call it keeping me company. We just alked about some things is all. You know how Xeke can be." Tucking some hair behind her ear before waiting for him to finish before they joined the others to make a transfer over.

Leaving the cabin at the request of her to be out she nodded to the creature and then waited for the others to get thier things and such, do thier things they needed to do. Finally having them all gathered, she gestured them to follow. "Very well then, this way. Leading them all to the Gale Claw. "Mister Robins, do show them show to thier quarters and then weight anchor, we're leaving this port...Black Dagger is starting to catch eyes and I don't want to be in the scope of vision.

And so with everything said it was now time to get things done, and Caden was the kind of guy who rather get things done. So off he went to his room, packing things that he had pulled out the day before and set them inside thier apropirate bag or case, his money of course was not going to get left behind so he hid the pouches he had brought with him in the bags as well before he finished packing.

Still it didn't take him long enough to et everything ready to go, and once he did he picked up his bags and headed to the surface of the ship. Once he was on the deck he quietly looked around for the others, once he spotted them he made his way with everyone over to the Gale Claw, best to make over to thier new home as soon as possible. Though when they got across he waited until he was asked to follow the captians first mate, he hoped then his room may be bigger than the last.

Thobias snapped his fingers and jerked his head towards the Claw, "Let's go everybody. We don't have all day." Thus heading over and directing them to the crew's quarters. "Don't worry about our men, ladies, they won't mess with you. If you'd like privacy to change and whatnot, I suggest you use the galley after everyone is finished eating. Meals are first come first serve. Any questions, feel free to ask but don't expect to like my answer." He saw everyone settled and then gave out the orders to the rest of the ship to head out.

Glancing between Kronos and Savvy for a moment, she wisely chose tot stay out of it. Instead, Shyrae just nodded. "Let's go then." Gathering her stuff, she followed after Savvy and whistled to her own Nightmare, heading out.

It didn't take long for Kronos to find his things, it didn't amount to much anyway. If nothing else the blind elf was good for a laugh, though her words had slightly frustrated him, but it was more because of the arrogance in them. Though he was sure it was a perceived arrogance then anything else. "I wonder how they would fare as normal humans, these elves, would they think better of us if their powers were stripped?" he thought aloud inside his room before stepping out and making his way towards the other ship.

He placed their two new play things in their new patch of sand that had been gathered in the broken flooring of thier chapel. Clip clopping over once more, he grabbed one of the pretty pieces of rainbow glass that they were always being give, bringing it over to his sister. "Here." She didn't give up the toy much, loved the resemblence to it or something like that she had said, he hadn't been paying attention. "Can we play now?"

A week in the sandseas now. Seemed the little Ilindal group was being passed between the two ships as tempers flared and cooled. It was quite the thing to watch and be amused with. Things were proving fruitless here lately though. The trip to the two locations of earlier, one in the sands and the other in the sand bogs, had been nothing but loot trips, much to Hawk's delight. No shiny 'rainbow glass' to be found at all, though she did note that winds seemed a bit different. And now, after much bickering over where they were going to go and what route they were taking, they were on the move again.

Lowering the spyglass, she blinked and withdrew a cloth from her pocket, wiping the lens before having another look. She had hoped the morning dawn was playing tricks on her eyes but the more it slowly rose above the dunes, the easier the silhouette was to make out. Snapping shut the device, she sprinted along the ship toward the helm. "All hands on deck and to your stations! Give me full sail!" Shoving the helmsman aside she took hold of the helm herself and flung it hard to turn the ship port and trying to avoid being broadsided. Would not be a happy moment. No way was some rouge dragon going to bust her ship and eat her crew.

Sure enough, streaking through the air and low across the sands was a large, good sixty foot full grown dragon-folk in natural form, green dragon....claws and fangs bared and looking as if it was quite hungry and the scavenger.

Jae sniffed the air and peeked over teh edge of the crow's nest, eyes widening at the dragon and the evasive manuever the Gale Claw was trying to take...that dragon could easily correct and strike no matter what the ship tried. A flare of wings and she leapt out of ther nest, taking to the air. Sometimes she didn't think before she did things.

"Bloody 'ell, we're gonna get-" Cut off mid sentence by the dark shadow that passed overhead before a white scaled dragon collided into the other, sending both to the ground and skidding across the sands past both ships. "Well...that was lucky...wait, isn't that one of Hawk's things?" Oh right, the Chimera in general. "Mister Robins...I do beliee we should raise the alarm now to all...and get ourselves to full speed over these sands and out of harm's way." Said as she watched the green toss off the white easily adn turn on it. Oh great, dragon battle.

Tossed off indeed, she rolled across the sand, digging in with her claws to get some type of traction, scrambling up just as she was lunged at...to which she jumped herslf with a beat of wings to get some air before dropping on the other dragon's back, lightining arcing between her talons, fangs, and horns, making current shoot through the larger dragon before she foudn herself on the recieving end of a tail blade, the hard bone shearing off some scaling as she was batted aside into the sand again, amber eyes opening to see the other now stalking...hm, so this was what it was liked to be hunted.

Kronos could not believe what was happening, what was she thinking? The dragon could easily eat her, "Is she out of her mind!!" he shouted as he leaped overboard, obviously, she wasn't the only stupid crazy one. Even before he hit the ground his board was upon his feet and he was moving fast, towards the dragon of all thing, his simitar in hand pumped full of magic, the blade engulfed in purple flames. He knew that his attack would do nothing else but make that thing angry, but at least it would deterred his attention.

He charged at the creature and attacked it his sword aiming not to kill, only to give Jae an opening to run.

A full week. That was the time frame that had passed as the gang was thrown back and forth between both ships, though still as everyone was being tossed back and forth between the two ships Caden had the time to make a leather bag that was big enough for his spyglass which was good, now the bag hung from his body and it was tied tight enough so that no one can open it and take what was inside without him noticing.

But today seemed to be different, he was told the night before that they were actually going to head off to the place they marked to look at instead of taking these loot trips they have been doing for the past week. It was all good news for Caden because he wanted to explore some ruins for a change, being on a ship filled with pirates loses its edge after so long. But it seemed that the start of today was going to be exciting enough because just as Caden made his way above deck did he see the shadow of a dragon, when he looked up to see that it wasn't Jae or Kaz did he reach for his blade; well of course he knew it would do nothing unless he was underneath the bloody creature but it was something he did when danger was afoot. Still when he saw a white scaled dragon pass on by did he curse underneath his breath. "Damn it Jae!" And out came the spyglass so he could monitor what was going on, only then did he spot Kronos. "Is everyone acting stupid today or what?"
