You know you're a band geek when You roll step to class (guilty) You bring out the drum major podium, organize music, teach freshman how to march, and conduct songs, When you're NOT the drum major. (guilty) You blow all your money on instruments. (Guilty) You skip lunch and any other class you can, just to come down to the band room (guilty) You arrange music for jazz band JUST so that you have a part (guilty) You know the OTHER band's marching show, and start singing along. (guilty on numerous occassions) You've downloaded all of your band music on your computer. (guilty) Your personal relationships are due to band (Guilty. My boyfriend was the first chair trombonist before he graduated.) You've developed perfect pitch just from listening to your band tune. (guilty) You want to go to college for music education, so you can be a highschool band director when you grow up. (....... >> guilty)

You know you're a band geek when you start crying when people don't put their stands on the rack correctly.
And start yelling "NOOO!! What did the stands do to YOU!! They don't deserve this!"

You know you're a band geek when even your non-bandie friends know the technicalities of your instrument simply because of the sheer amount of times you've told them.

We marched on in rows of 2 and awed everyone )except the band and BD). We also did that when we stopped for dinner going to band retreat. We actually marched up the drive through. It was hailairous.
