Mai-lin bit her lip and plopped down on the floor next to the bed. She closed her eyes for a second and then opened them and shook her head. "No. I can't remember it that much. And I was only fighting with two guys before Ran killed 'em all." She wrinkled her. Nose. "Why can't we go? If you're going Yuhi-san, it can't be a normal A-rank mission. And it'll give a us feild training."

Yuhi raised his brows at Anekios comment, but didn't say anything about it. She gets creeped out by dead bodies but has no trouble killing? Weird. "I'm special. I have a pretty good chance at being moved up to the Jounin level before the others." That's assuming I still pass the test...heard it was a b*tch. "If you had trouble with the ones you fought earlier, it would be better for you to stay here. We may run into worse." The face of the S Ranked criminal flashed in his head. "If it was a different mission, I wouldn't have a problem, but it's the Hokage you'd need to convince anyway."

"I didn't have trouble!" Mai-lin yelled. "I just only got to fight two! And anyways if Ran is going then we should all go!" She crossed her arms as Himi barked her agreement, tail wagging. "See even Himi agrees!"
((Wow...Mai-lin just reminded me so much of Naruto.))

Anekio quirked a brow, "When did we say anything about Ran coming along?" She smiled at the dog, patting it's head lightly. "And you did have a bit of difficulty."

I'm sure the kids aren't the only ones who had a hard time if the leader is still alive... Yuhi thought with a frown. "Those guys must have been very strong, or at least their leader is."

Anekio sighed, "Besides, we don't really know what difficulties we'll run into. I'm sorry, Mai-lin."

((I'm suprised no one brought up Himi being hurt to stop her.))
Mai-lin recrossed her arms again and frowned. The girl's nose wrinkled and she leaned back against the bed. "Fine." she grummbled. The Inuzuka's eyes crossed ntil she could clearly see the tip of her nose. She bit her cheek to stop herself from saying anything else that could up getting her in trouble. I know! I can just follow them. I'm sure Himi-chan wouldn't mind!

Ran shook her head before watching as everyone else talked. I've never really been out of the village, much... or, at least, allowed to wander freely... I've only known about a few s-ranked ninja in the past, that left there... nothing about any reason for them to go there... She went silent, however, recalling something, but choosing not to think about it.

Mai-lin looked up at Ran and Kei. Maybe they'll come with too. I'll ask. But if they don't...what if they tell someone what I'm gonna do? She chew her lip in thought, trying to figure out if she should invite her team to come with.

Anekio looked at Mai-Lin for a moment. She could tell by how the girl was acting that something was running through her mind, and that something shouldn't even be there. "Just to let you know, if you plan on following us the only ways to get out of here without the gate guards being suspicious is if you're on a mission or have a traveling pass. Other wise they may concider you trying to become an S-ranked Criminal and hold you for prosiecution."
She sighed and shrugged, "Especially now that little incident earlier." She looked over at Ran, then Kei before setting her eyes on Himi, who probably wouldn't go anywhere without her owner.

Yuhi looked at his brother. "Kei, you better not thinking about trying to sneak off either. I know you're one of the stronger Genin at the moment, but this mission is extreamly dangerous."
"Tch, you don't have to tell me that, baka. I won't go against my senseis orders." Even if I really want to go. Kei thought and sighed. "I won't be able to become a great shinobi if I get killed."

Anekio nodded, "See, your brother's even a better behaved shinobi. He's not nearly begging me to ask the Hokage if he can go, Yuhi." She had a small emphasis on his name and shrugged. "Yeah, if you want to be in the eliet then I suggest keeping up training and not taking on more than you can handle."

Yuhi cleared his throat and looked away. "That was a bit different..." he mumbled. "And I wasn't begging, I was persuading."
Kei started laughing. "You are such a bad liar, Yuhi. How do you not get sick of being around him?" He asked Anekio.

"You seem to know my brother pretty well, Sensei." Kei said, still laughing. "From the way he talks about-ow!"
Yuhi smacked his brother upside the head and glared at him. "Mind your own business, brat."
