*Days had turned into weeks, and weeks had turned into months, and still Sierra did not stir from the darkness that had claimed her.
She lay perfectly still with the exception of her bandaged chest rising steadily with every shallow breath. She looked so vulnerable and fragile, her body deliacte and doll like body hooked up to so many IV's and monitoring devices, the oxygen mask strapped in place over her mouth and nose.
She had been in a state of comatose since she had collapsed in the stadium, shortly before Vahn was 'resurrected.' She was alive, but she had been thus far, unresponsive.
Deep within the darkness she drifted, vaguely aware that she was alive... Here it was peaceful, the darkness was soothing. Here there was no sense of time passage. She had no idea how long she had been like this, and she had no desire to leave her new found serenity.
Then a name... His name, drifted to her like a whisper in the wind, almost unreal. Vahn.
As her mind snatched up that word, A shudder ran through her body, her heart rate increasing slightly.
Where was Vahn? Very faintly she could feel the warmth of his flame. Always echoing hers, a gentle pulse beating in time with her heart. But it was so weak... and so far away... Then the voice said something else... 'Die'? Vahn? Dead?! She remembered him... collapsed and lifeless in the arena... but still she had felt his flame... just like now... No. He was alive. Somehow... they were both still alive.
Slowly, long and slender fingers flexed, just a twitch at first, then more of a convulsion, her hands balling into fists and straining on the Iv's that were taped to her limbs.*

What is...? Her head turned to the side, becoming more and more alarmed at the way her status was destabilizing. "Not good! "Hey-- hey!," Mitsuyo said loudly, over the growing movements coming from the woman, "--Someone get in here!"
Mitsuyo placed both her hands down firmly against the red-head's chest, trying to ease her, and calm her down. "Sierra... please.. Sierra!"

*Pressure from somewhere... On her chest? A woman's voice... the one that had whispered to her, it sounded... frantic? What was wrong?
Calling. She was being called? Why? She didn't understand...
Her body bucked against the bed.
Remember! She needed to remember... But there was nothing... Just a span of darkness that encompased her mind.
::Silly elf... Try Harder.::
Her heart raced, a cold sweat rising on her skin.
Blood. The Arena. Providence. Silver was there, they were fighting the monk... The rotary blade.... Her aerial maneuver.... then nothing. It was sketchy at best and cut off so abrubtly.
Silver?! Was he okay?!! What about everyone else? The Stadium what had happened... where was Vahn?! He felt so far away... She had to find him.
Struggling, her body still weak, but her demonic strength pulsing through her like a driving force, She fought to sit up, flinging off whatever was trying to push her back down with unchecked strength.
She needed to get up, and she needed to find them both.
Golden eyes flare open, pupils swallowed within golden flame as she starts trying to tear away all the medical equipment that was restraining her.*

"Hey, wha--" Mitsuyo suddenly found herself being pushed back, and further back with a tremendous burst that she hadn't exaclty been expecting to come out a person that'd been laying on a bed in supposed bad shape.
"For the love of..." She could have been seriously injured from being flung like that, but then again, she wasn't a Kyonuske for nothing. Tucking her legs in, so her feet would strike the wall, rather than her back, she braced herself for just a moment--
As the door to the room was opened, a few men entering in and wondering what exactly was going on.
"Mitsuyo?!"
"What happened-- we were watching the monitors!"
"She's waking up, of course." Spying the syringe that lay in the grasp of the nearest person, she snatched it deflty from his grasp and spring vaulted off the wall, to land back onto the awakening maiden, and thrust the needle right into one of the major arteris of her neck.
The motion was clean and smooth, and she hoped the sedative would be enough to calm the woman down, lest she actualy tear the place apart in her confusion.

*As Mitsuyo jammed the needle into herneck, Sierra's body convulsed and she shrieked with the sudden sharp and biting pain, surprised momentarily by the force behind it.
A second more of struggling and she slumped back against her pillows, panting, breathing hevily and trembling with shock.
Where was she? What was going on?! Who were these people?!
Vahn were was Vahn? Where was Silver?!! She tried to move... but her limbs suddenly felt as if they were fashioned from lead.
She tried to focus her eyes on the woman who had stuck her with the needle, her lips forming a word, her throat hoarse from months of not speaking, the sound she made inaudiable.
Coughing and trying agiain with some determination, she licked her lips, her eyes slightly gazed over by the narcotics she had just been administered.*
"W-he-where's Va-hn...?"

"My, my, my..." Mitsuyo said, smiling lightly, as she lightly straddled over Sierra, staring down at her. "You nearly gave us a fright... Ms. Kyonuske is it now?" She beamed down, before deftly sliding off and standing by Sierra's side now.
"We... were hoping you might know." Her eyes downcasted for a moment, as she fingertapped her chin in thought. "How are you feeling...?"

*Her eyes widened and then focused with striking clarity, her pupils surfacing and shaping themselves into crescent moons before returning to normal.
Ms. Kyonuske? So he had had enough time to inform the clan, or at least those he deemed important enough to know about the change in their relationship... before disaster had struck.
That nearly made her smile, but what the woman had to say next quickly wiped any such notion from her mind, Had she heard right? They didn't know where he was?
An icy fist of fear clenched around her heart as she stared wordlessly at Mitsuyo.
But they were his clan! The Kyonuske! They HAD to know where their leader was, didn't they?
Slowly she fought for control of her thoughts, and spoke softly, pleased that her voice only tremebled a little.*
"You don't know where he is... I can feel him, but faintly. There's a great distance between us."
*If she knew about herself and Vahn, then did she know about the Fuuin and the Raneuri too?*
"Where's Silver, is he okay? How long have I been unconscious for?"

"Ohhh? That's good. Better than dead." She smiled again thoughtfully, before reclining against the wall with a sigh. It had been bad enough that they'd been basically disseceted from the inside out, by someone they had thought of as their own...
But the fact that they couldn't prevent the destruction of the stadium was just pouring salt on the proverbial wound. "Ehh...Silver went to run some errands a week or so ago. Hasn't been seen since."

*Sierra flexes her limbs experimentally, Her metabolism would purge whatever it was this woman had drugged her with from her system in a few minutes. One of the benefits of being a non-human.
She looks around the room curiously, taking in the simple decor and minor details. She hadn't told her how long she'd been out for... and Silver had been gone for about a week? On errands? What kind of errands would keep him that long?
She didn't dare open her empathetic channels in her weakened state, but she would stake her life on her hunch, this woman was hiding things from her, and in poor health or not, she didn't like it.
'Just keep talking, then get up when your system's clean.' She thought to herself.
With every passing second, she felt more herself, the chaos of her comatose state was fading from her head, and the fogginess of the drug was dimming as well.*
"What's your name?"

Mitsuyo let her gaze travel over towards Sierra, before idly staring at her fingernails. "I''m Mitsuyo, former Vice-Captain for the 2nd Division." She replied, evenly enough before leaning in and re-attaching some of the iv''s.
"You need to rest up... you''ve been out for a while now, and I''m sure you-know-who would be upset if you didn''t take care of yourself."

In the nearly empty library, one person was feverishly persuing some ancient manuscripts for information, but to no avail. Frustrated with the many hours and days he spent with no results, Silver Moonblade decided to take a break from his text and take a stroll... and maybe get a little excersize.
Instead of walking as usual, he hovered about 6 inches off of the ground. He did this to keep his magical energies flowing, and to keep them strong. Levitating was quite easy for those who were innatly etherial, but hovering was a b***h and a half; he had to keep the magic flowing at a constant rate, similar to that of a bird flapping its wings.
Silver decided to go into the park, partially becuase he was sick of the rest of the town at the moment. Comming upon a recent lack of funds, for the last week he didn't have enough gold to do much of anything. Though he made a little bit of money in the "pit" the other night, he didn't get nearly as much as he hoped as his "managers" thought up every possible excuse not to pay him.
A few people stared at him as he floated into the park. He looked like a sixteen year old boy with long Silver hair. Sporting a new red yukat with a black trim, he had a Silver Sword pendant and a black belt with a small pouch of gold. The only armant on him was a Jet Black Spear, a gift to him by Enki Leviathan.

*Sierra lets a polite mask fall over her face, the kind of mask she had been trained to wear in the elven courts, where the wrong expression could mean an attempt on your life.
Her studious but, blank gaze flicks to Mitsuyo, observing her carefully. 'Former' she said... Interesting. But now wasn't the time to figure out the disfunctional political intrigue of her lover's clan.
She clenches her jaw as the woman starts reattatching the IV's.*
"Pleased to meet you Mitsuyo. And I'm sorry about uhh.. throwing you. But really, I'm fine, I need to find Silver and Vahn--"

Kanashimi Kurai The kid was going to attract attention. Amunet moved over to the cannon, peeking in at the child. "Oi, little one, if you can be really quiet during our trip and hide with me, I'll give you two shineys, one now and one when we arrive..." She spoke quietly, just loud enough that the child could hear her. Two...Shineys? ::He had to think about this one. It was a tough call between giving up this awesome hiding spot. And a free shiney to play with...but the shiney won out in the end. He crawled out of the cannon distinctly saying:: Awww...awight....::It was a shame losing a great hiding spot like that one. But at least now he could help the pretty lady find a new one! And he planned to, he searched back and forth high and low....or more specifically, he just kinda looked to the left and to the right, until something caught his eye. He reached up his right hand, and pointed at a large feather sticking up over some barrels. Kraun As bad of a hiding spot the child had chosen, being mostly in plain view and making a ruckus at the same time, Turriens was equally as badly hidden. Not because he was standing in the open, but rather, he was hiding behind a few barrels. The only problem was, being as moronic as he is, he refused to take the large plumed hat off his head. And as a result, even though his body was well hidden, the plume stuck up over the barrels, standing out easily. And as he pointed he tugged on Amunets fingers and said.:: Hey, pwetty lady, lets hide by the birwdy!

"As much as I'd love to just let you go... I'm afraid I can't do that." Came the simple reply, as Mitsuyo finished re-applying the iv's and settling the linen about the woman once more.
"Our last orders were to watch over you, until either Silver or Vahn returns."

"Reiko, why am I traveling with you?"
"Oh, I never told you?"
Rose looked at him with one of those looks that make a person feel stupid and go,
"Oh... well it's getting close to the time when the souls are called home."
"What are you talking about?"
Reiko stood up from the bench they were sitting on and leaned back slightly, his right leg went back and his left hand came up as he began to 'charge' the Pupu Power within himself. It flowed over his body like heat, which rises.
Rose looked at him for a moment, noticing his eyes were turning bright yellow, as if he was entranced. She smacked him on the head and put her face in his view. Then energy that Reiko was channeling shot into the sky.
"That doesn't answer anything."
"I suppose not. But I'll explain it later."
"When is later?"
"When I can explain it."
"Whe-- forget it."
