My dearest compliments to you & your husband upon your most recent achievments. Your promotion was long past due and I'm sure that whatever employment your husband has come into, I'm sure it fits him right fine. Good Luck to the both of you.
As for your fellow employees, I'm confident that with time and tide, their little corrupt world will unravel, leaving them with a bad taste in their mouths. Just stay the course and all will be well.

Well... I am sorry (well, maybe not SO sorry) to say that I was terminated from my job. Heh, I find it funny that people at that place were so quick to take me down. I guess their corruption far outweighed my best efforts to guide my general manager to see the error of their ways.
So I am now in search of new employment. The good Doctor, in response to seeing the injustice, walked out on the spot. So he also is looking for a new job.
I've been working on my blog to show off my work. He has been grabbing applications left and right (and grabbing a couple for me as well) as we both try to find new (and hopefully better) employment.

As sad as it is that your promotion didn't exactly last too long, I've only the following advice for your job search: 'Go where the money is.'
Seriously, look for jobs that pay upwards of 12+ an hour. Most will be labor intensive employment, but in the end it's worth working for. Oooh, actually... the best job I ever had in High School was a construction flagger. They make upwards of $15 an hour to just stand there and hold a sign and direct traffic. Look into it. Seriously.

eek *shudders* dear god, is that really you Aeoess?
it's the nails... they frighten me.
Dear captain, I feel that those jobs, although a monetary improvement, would leave me wanting more out of my job. I mean, the only reason I left my graphic job was because they laid me off... I didn't chose to go. And had I been their longer, I may have gotten more from the business... but I didn't care for finding it a tad repetitive (which my field should not be) and it wasn't the best place for a designer who actually wants to design.
but I'm looking for something more that avenue right now... I want to be apprieciated for my work... not just a no name behind a big corporation
in other stuffs... vote for me please? Please come and vote for my avi!

You have been voted on JadenKale! xd
Oh, and my nails look way better now, but at some point I need to post a picture of me as a pirate, and me in my more normal attire.
Also I hope you get a good job/career and I hope it stays worthwhile for you.

That is some seriously dashing attire, m'dear. I'd club you over the head and drag you away to my cave, but I think that you might have some objection to that, so I won't. I just got my club out of storage too!

Two very nice leg pieces. I was checking a local artist's work out as I have finally talked Jesse into getting a tattoo and am looking to fix my dragon up. Plan on getting an addition, and I figured since they always have witty sayings on their billboard, their art might be as sharp as their sense of humor.

It's odd to come back to an OOC Chat and see that on the same page was a post I made 2 years prior.
I just thought I'd pop in to see how things are progressing around here. I've missed you all a great deal.
