Remus took a deep breath and hoped this would go well. He thrust the door open and stepped inside, still holding Lina's hand. His eyes shifted a little, but he kept his composure.

The room fell to a comeplete silence, all work slowed to a stop as they watched their leader walk inside holding the hand of the Lycan who had just recently awakened Lotan. A small murmur flowed through them all before the older vampires began working, light grins on their faces. The youner ones took longer to calm down, blinking every now and then before starting to work.
Lina sighed in relief, but she knew it was the youngest ones, the one that had just been recently joined that would be the most problematic. The oldest ones still remember the time when lycans and vampires married on a daily basis, but now...it would be unthinkable. Sh elooked at Remus for his reaction.

Even as a human, Remus's ears rose up a little. He held his composure quite nicely and avoided giving away his true tension. He, like Lina, knew that the largest problems would come from the younger vampires. He turned and spoke softly to Lina. "Well, that wasn't so bad. Let's see if we can find Lotan shall we?"

As Troden left the safety of his base, one thought rested in his mind. The thought of how a young vampire listened to the Leaders final debate on whether they should leave or stay in the realm as it was now, and the reluctant agreement of his mentor. A made a quick left and moved to the park, a true neutral ground for all. Even Lotan knew that now. All he had to do was call him and their final meeting as student and mentor would begin...

Remus followed her again, ignoring some of the stares. They opened the door and went inside. They looked around for a moment before a voice came from the hallway they just left. "I'm afraid I left to view the rest of the premises." Lotan came in as they turned around. "So, I was correct."
Remus smiled again. "Lotan, I thank you for aiding Lina and myself."

Lina lowered her head slightly before she said, "Yes, thank you. I am sure you understand the importance of our relationship..." she trailed off, surprise clear in her voice, "Relationship...how easy it was for me to say that...."

Remus gave a light laugh. "And how wonderful it is for me to hear." He turned back to Lotan. "Point being, you have our gratitude."
Lotan gave a small smile. "It's the least I could do after you freed me from my tomb. Now, what do you have to eat around here?"

Lina nodded, letting go of Remus as she resumed being the Lotus leader, "Follow me. You may find out that things have not change very much when comes to food, but the appearance may be questionable..." she said as she walked down the hall.

Remus whispered in her ear as she left. "I'll catch you later." He pulled out his sword and began to train.
Lotan followed Lina from the room.

Lina smirked but that was all that showed she heard as she turned a corner and entered a rather larger room filled mostly filled with tools from an earlier life and a few modern technology. Since most of the members were from an lder time, Lina felt it safe to compromise...a little bit, "Here we are, the kitchen." she said as she walked towards the refrigerator.

Lina couldn't help but laugh at the idea. The great Lotan trying to eat an electrical appliance..., "No, this is where food is preserved for future meals." she then pulled out an apple and tossed it to the Leader, "Try it. We even have meat in here properly preserved...without salt." she always hated the salting process. Thank the heavens that is over.

"Ah..." Even Lotan was not above embarressment. He caught the apple and bit into it. "Not bad. Haven't had one of these in a while. Thanks." He turned and walked out.
