'Ello, yes I said 'ello and no I'm not a blue worm. I'm Cara, born Feb. 26 you can check out more details about me in my profiles "About Me" space. I'm a huge Phantom Phan, Erik being my fav character and the original Leroux Erik being my fav version, and have been since before I can remeber. I like the Leroux, Kay, Chaney, and ALW versions best and my love of Phantom and Erik saved my life when I was younger.

I'm Kat
I'm 15
I eat human brains for susitance, but I'm more of a sushi person.
In the evenings I like to love Phantom if the town I live in hasn't illuminated the "Kat signal" in the sky. Then I have to fight crime. But yeah, I've joined so I can lure you all into a false sense of securtiy to steal your thought meats. But, I'm ever so selective, so don't be scared.

Hello, I'm Pippa. I joined this guild a little while ago but, haven't posted until now. So I suppose that shows one of the things about me: I tend to procrastinate.

I'm fifteen, and like everyone else here, I love the Phantom of the Opera. I have read Leroux's book and have seen the movie, but unfortunately I haven't been able to see the musical. I plan on reading Kay's book sometime soon, though I doubt I will like it as much as the original. I'm a bit of a Leroux purist when it comes to the Phantom of the Opera, and though I enjoy variations of the story, I like the original the best.

The name is Shadow, I spend way to much time hanging around theaters dressed in black, and I've been known to exact doom on actors when the get annoying enough. I'm a theater minor, history major and I've been in love with phantom for about 5 years.

Hello everyone!
I am new, so I thought I would say hello. ^_^ My name is Kayla, I am 18, and I love the phantom.
I will be going to college next year, where I will either be a History or Theater major, depending on the school I choose. If anyone is up for chatting, just PM me, I am more than welcome to making new friends (or just chatting, if you find you don't like me.)

Hello! My name is Bianca, I go by B, I have been in love with PotO since I was a wee little 3rd grader singing Christine's part in "Phantom of the Opera" for our broadway inspired school play. The love reawakened when the movie came out, plus, I read alot of the literature based on it. I'm 18, I am a former music major (haven't decided what I'm majoring in JUST yet), I love to read, I USED to be in theater (bad experience there...) and I love Broadway, greek mythology, the Labyrinth, and Harry Potter. lol

'Ello! 15 almost 16 here. My real name is Robin, but most people call me Toast. Because of the name. I have an assortment of nicknames (Bob, Nadir, Christine, Toasty Puff, Toasty, Bluejay, Cat, etc...) so if you want to pick one and stick with it that's fine. I respond to all sometimes, and sometimes not. It depends. I don't respond to my name all the time either, so it's not a me forgetting the nick name thing, I just don't seem to register people talking to me all the time.

I love phantom in all encarnations. The musical stage shows (all of them), the movies (most of them), and books. 'Cept Phantom of Manhatten. Because... well... No.

I love writing, phantom, role-playing (BTW, I'm looking for a good one all the time), web design, drawing, writing, singing, playing the violin, dressing up (yeah, I know it's a 5-yr-old thing. But if it's any help, I hated it when I was a little kid.), computers, Monkey Island, and various other things.

I am an odd person. This is my intro I suppose. Au revoir.

Is it kosher to introduce myself as a "new member" even though I've been here for a loooong time and just never got around to doing it?? Oh well.
Um...Hi, my real name is Elizabeth. You can call me Mir or Miri.
I'm 18, I live in California, and I'm a college freshman. Music major.
I think I got denied to the guild the first time, which must have been ages ago. xD But I'm here now.
I enjoy singing, fashion, art, and band. And Phantom, but you already knew that.

Hi my name is Sharon...and I think I may be the oldest person here..maybe not but it feels like it. I don't go to college I actually work for the State of CA. I have a 16 year old daughter and yeah she's on gaia too. It's a family thing..i guess. I got introduced to Phantom when I was a kid of 8 or nine and then it was the old black and white horror movie. I grew up in the sticks and cable for us was basic channels. On Fridays they had creature feature which played all the old horror b movies and Sundays they played a little of everything from the old radio shows to the elvis movies. Anywho it was on one of these days that I happened to watch the old 1928 silent horror film of phantom, then later I was able to see the 1930's sound black and white version, then i eventually saw a colorized version of this same film. It wasn't until I was married with a young child that I became a solidified fan. My husband and I are gamers and they had come out with a Phantom game and that's when I became a True phantom fan. You play as Raoul, Christine's fiance and a police officer, in the first person. So yeah it was total immersion into the game and felt like I was a part of it, so when we finished the game I came away with a piece of phantom with me. Also this kind of story is what I am attracted to of this genre and the like...Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jack the Ripper, Dr. jeckyl Mr. Hyde. I did see the movie in the theater and own the DVD. It wasn't until the movie came out that my husband informed me that the movie was actually and opera. Well then it was set I had to see it. It was right around here that said daughter also became a fan. She's a cool kid...anyway hubby also informed me that phantom wasn't a "TRUE" opera in operatic sense that it was a rockera or rock opera...whatever it's the closest I will ever be to opera..but then I started reading about it and found out that like Jack the Ripper there really was something going on back in 1800 and that there really was a "Phantom" back then...so that truly solidified it. I enjoy suspense and mysteries especially if they have some bearing in fact thus my mentioning the Hunchback and Dr Jeckyl and Jack the Ripper....I am truly a macabre person at heart. I enjoy getting to know you and chatting with you all biggrin

Hi! I go by Alice and I'm about to start the 9th grade. Though I am fairly new to the story of the marvolous Phantom, I shall work myself to death this summer trying my best to get caught up. I got hooked on Phantom after watching the 2005 movie version(is there more Phantom movies?) My favorite things to do are read and surf the internet. After I graduate college I plan to open my own bookstore(most likely in Savannah,GA)

Well that's a bit about myself.
Au Revior!

Hey I go by Storm I am 16 and loving it. I learned to dance to the music from the london/awl production. I know the lyrics to every song from the movie.... Oh and I worked forever to get my avi to look like Christine from my favorite scene, Past The Point Of No Return

Hey-lo. I'm Azarni. I'm a rising 9th grader. ^^

I actually just watched the 2004 movie two weeks ago (from Thursday), but I loved it so much that I had to go and buy the book immediately and dig out my dad's old soundtrack.

I loved the book and movie, but I sadly haven't seen the play yet. I'm hoping to remedy that this year when we go to New York with the marching band.

Hello all! I'm Twilight_of_Life. I've seen the movies(I hate the Claude Raynes 1940s movie with a passion), I've read the book, and I've recently seen the stage musical which, for the record, is AMAZING and if you have the chance to see it with Richard Todd Adams playing Erik, do so. My favourite songs from the musical/movie are Music of the Night, Notes, and Past the Point of No Return. Ever since I was a child I've loved the Phantom of the Opera. I loved watching the movies with my brother and it didn't matter which version. now that I'm older it does because there are some versions that are just a DISGRACE to the work of Leroux and the 1940s movie with Claude Reynes is one of them. I mean, Raoul as a POLICE OFFICER! I think they had it too much like the 1940s and not like the 1800s like it was SUPPOSED to be.

Anyway, as Kosmic_Angel said, there really was something going on in the 1800s but I feel like going deeper with the little knowledge I have of it. There was a woman named Christine Nelson that was kidnapped for one week by someone whose name they will not say. Supposedly he did live under the opera house in paris where there really is a lake and to this day the opera house WILL NOT seel box five. Anyway, I shall stop rambling about things.
