It surprised her... that she actually knew songs like that. She'd never learned any from her family... They hated the fact that her and her brother shared the same space with them... why would they take the time to teach her to sing? Then another came up... She was almost done with beating up a boulder and all she could think of was songs...

The last one made her kind of sad... just the words... this frustraited her slightly. What could they possible mean to her? Nothing! They were just... sad... and the heat was probably getting to her... She shook all thoughts of singing out of her head. She was almost done and wanted to finish as fast as possible. She hoped sensei hadn't been paying attention to her... that would be seriously embarrassing... Her brother made fun of her a lot for singing, and not because of her voice. She was actually pretty good. Singing... just didn't suit her... or so it seemed. I'm such an idiot... I should have just kept it to myself...

Pausing for a moment, she readjusted her balance so she wouldn't fall over. She was using her 'bad' leg, after all. She was surprised at how fast she had done this much. It only took about...fifteen minutes. Of course, I would have gone faster if I didn't get those stupid songs stuck in my head... I really need to watch myself... This isn't home sweet home in Kumogakure... not that I really had a home there...

So far she'd only been paying attention to her thoughts and just getting the dumb task done. She hadn't even been paying attention to what she had been doing to the boulder. There were already several, good-sized cracks in it's surface. She smirked as she aimed for a main one. Practicing her last ten on that one spot spread the crack further... now if only she could get the boulder to bust... Oh well... she would try it in a few minutes. Though she was done, she knew almost exactly what was comming. Turning arou she faced him. "Let me guess... next is another 100 but with my right leg?"

"Mmmmm, your not stupid as you look....Yes indeed, the next training is to kick the same rock with your right leg. Again 100 times! Maybe if you hurry up this time, i can finally teach you the jutsu!"
Sakumo replied, in his usual angry voice.

(Last traning before we start with the jutsu! Same rules as before and again...good luck!)

Shuiro laughed at his remark. 'Yeah? Too bad you are as stupid as you look. My brother looks smarter that you..." Turning back around again, she went at it with her good leg this time. If I looked stupid, then I would be wearing my sandals on my ears and my kunai pouch on my back... Sensei is just waiting for a fight, isn't he...." Her left leg was weaker from kicking, so she moved slightly from the impct of each kick. Stupid leg...

"I'm as stupid as i look like?!.....Aargh!!"
Sakumo couldn't take it no more! He had to destroy something or someone...... now!
He turned around and smashed the large rock behind him to smitherens!
"I'll show you and your damn brother..." he thought.
He took a big breath and tried to calm down. Finally when he got a hold of himself, he turned around to oversee her training.

Shuiro laughed quietly to herself. She was getting him to crack even while she was doing all the work... It was too easy... She wondered how far she could push him until her beat her to a pulp... Her leg was feeling better now that it was in it's regular posituion. She kicked repeatedly, she did, after all, want to learn a jutsu...

"Hey! Sakumo-sensei! You know any Haiku?" Shuiro smirked again. This was another chance to make fun of him. As she struck the boulder, she went on with her poem. "Sakumo is old. Like the dirt benieth me. He is stepped on." She though of how her and her brother always made stuff like that up. Thier cousins hated them for it. "Go on... it's a challenge. Make up what ever you want. Insult me to you higest ability!"

Not giving him quite enough time to reply just yet, she gave another. "Chattering monkey. You give many orders. And think yourself tall." She beat at the stone harder and harder as she insulted his pride. "I'm waiting sensei... Do you even know how to make a haiku?" She smacked the rock again. "Five, seven, then five. That forms a haiku. Blundering oaf."

"This is just a mental test.....just like with interegations..." he thought and calmed himself down.
"I know what a haiku is, but i don't like poems. However i do have some old saying for you. How about: Giving birth to a baby is easier than worrying about it?"
PostPosted: Tue Oct 30, 2007 9:44 am

Shuiro continued beating at the boulder. "Yeah... I haven't heard of that one, but it does make sense... worrying about stuff like that can make people do really stupid stuff..." She wasn't to sure what he was getting at... but it was slightly interesting to guess what he was up to. Was he trying to play with her mind as she was to him?

((so sorry i havent posted lately. I got pretty sick nd haven't been up for posting at all.))

Deezers walked over to a stream that eventually connected to a decent sized body of water. Batting at water bugs lazily, he was almost entranced completly by the activity. After a few awkwardly silent moments, he looked back up at Katagi and remembered to give instructions.

"Now, it's customary to teach the simpler walking up trees first, then water, but i figure if you master this, then mastering tree walking will be a cinch afterwards. You want to expel chakra out of your feet, and maintain the chakra, with enough control to keep it in balance, not to much or to little. Give it a try. The farther out you go, the rougher the water will be and it will prove to be more challenging, but you'll get the hang of it."

With that he went back to swatting bugs.

((Chakra control check.
get DC 9 3 times
then DC 13 3 times
then DC17 3 times))

(Make sure to drink water and get some rest to get better (i sound like my mom now crying ) , day/nitequil helps me out even if it tastes bad.

so i have to beat dc 9 three times or do i need to get dc 9?)

"Okay..." Katagi understood what he had to do for this and that was walking on water, It sounded impossible but it could be done. "Okay...walking on water..." he said as he walked to the edge of the body of water and expeled the chakra from his feet as he walked on the body of water. He kept his eyes closed as if this didn't work then he would sink.

It was a nice, he admited, but she was wrong. He didn't scold her, for he wanted to teach her something. The best way to teach someone something, is trough understanding.
"No your wrong.....good guess, but wrong. It means: Fear is greater than the danger or An attempt is sometimes easier than expected."
He tried to think of another one.....
"Try this one: If you do not enter the tiger's cave, you will not catch its cub."
