Now that Vane was back in air that was easier to navigate, he took a moment to recompose himself. Finally, he felt confident enough to continue, so he steered the glider back towards the cliffs.
Suddenly he became a tensai at piloting gliders and happily landed on the island with the shrine. "Phew." Linswo stared at the totems for a bit before grabbing a blessing.

For the briefest moment, fog surrounded her, as her glider dipped. Screaming from the startlement of the sudden plummet, Vaneda pulled her body up as much as she could and relaxed. She could do this.

Nevada grinned as she felt the air underneath her, pushing her glider up until she was flying further and further. And just as she thought it would give out, the glider eased her onto the Island, her foot stepping down on the ground. It had been...fun. She kind of wanted to do it again.
On the Island, as she looked over the glider, she noticed a small light, reaching out to it. A blessing.
