☽ Emma said nothing as Atticus basically insulted her. The tattoos continued streaming down her back and neck. She lowered her head then, unaffected by Atticus tightening his grip on her neck. I don't know what to do... she thought. This was something she really didn't want. She was originally glad she met everyone, that meant she had comrades to trust. People she could consider friends so she could move on from her past. What she just heard about being used as a sort of object brought up flash backs. She clenched her teeth together and looked at the ground in what seemed like defeat. "Sorry you feel that way..." she muttered. She was unsure about what to do now. She just wanted this to stop and she wanted to go somewhere other than here. ☾
"I'm sorry that things turned out this way, Emma." Atticus would tell her as he could hear the hurt in her voice at his words. He knew of her past and probably knew how much his words would hurt her, but it was far too late to regret saying them now. However, something inside of Atticus felt uneasy, it was like his heart was becoming black. As a result, his grip on Emma loosened quite a bit, showing his own resolve weakening. "Emma, tell me. If you were in my shoes could you honestly let it all go and move on?" he asked her. "Could you truthfully let the person who was threatening your loved ones, leave?" Attics then looked to Shira and Michi, "And you two. Could you as well?" he shouted, showing his uncertainty.

Suddenly rising from the shadows beneath Atticus and Emma, popped out No-name's white head. He appeared right between them and split them, due to Atticus softened grip. No-name didn't seem to be particularly in the moment, though, as he was deeply invested in a pamphlet. His blue eyes shifted to Atticus, looking to the person before him. "Question. Is this Death City?" But after launching his inquiry, he paused, turning his head to look at the sword the man held. "Am I interrupting something?"

☽ Emma's ears pinned as she heard Michi. She glanced back at Atticus "I would do the same honestly." she admitted "But you tried killing Mirai's partner didn't you? That is someone important to her. Same with Shira. Yet... they both gave you a chance didn't they? They moved on and forgave you because you are a good person." she said. "With that, would you give myself and Herald one more chance?" she asked. She was interrupted when a figure seemed to appear out of nowhere and split the two up. She stumbled before catching herself, a bit dumbfounded that some stranger appeared out of nowhere. Most would have thought she would bolt now that she was free but she stood there and glanced back towards the person as Michi answered his questions. After a few moments she went over towards Herald, not sure if he was still on a rampage. Despite that, she put one hand on his arm in an attempt to try and get him to calm down in some way. ☾
Eric watched Atticus take Emma hostage without comment, allowing the scene to play out as it would. He stayed silent as Atticus released Emma and she went over to Herald, looking back at the area where Mirai had disappeared.
Miles watched as Kasumi came towards him, going through the shield Emma had erected due to the force of Herald's throw. For a moment he thought he was going to be impaled by his own Weapon before Kasumi changed back to her human form in the nick of time. He caught her as she ran into him, slowing their acceleration until the stopped in mid-air. He breathed a sigh of relief, looking down at her. "Are you okay?" He asked her despite the fact that he was the one who had been thrown to the ground. He looked up to see Atticus taking Emma hostage before quickly releasing her. At least that crisis had been resolved. He wasn't surprised that Herald had lost it when Mirai killed Divine instead of him and he knew that Herald wasn't about to let that slight go.

Herald spun towards Atticus as he took Emma hostage, growling angrily. He paused until she was free, the green energy whirling around him. He looked down at where Mirai had been, his eyes gleaming behind the green energy. He didn't look at Emma when she came to him and touched him on the arm, instead looking away and holding out his hand, opening a portal to their dimension. Without a word he stepped through, disappearing into the whirling miasma. [[Exit Herald to Herald and Emma's Dimension]]
Texas slowly got to his feet, clearly in a lot of pain. He looked over at Atticus and Shira, noticing a head suddenly pop up from the shadows and ask Atticus a question. "What is that...?" He asked no one in particular, completely confused.
As expected, if any of them were in his shoes they would do the same thing, so what makes it wrong for him to seek revenge for? They were all being hypocrites and Atticus would not let them sway his movement. It appears as though, Atticus was going to tighten his grip on Emma, but before he could, a mysterious figure would appear between him and Emma, separating the duo. Atticus was momentarily taken off guard by this man's appearance, but it would seem that Michi would handle it, as Atticus was too focused on watching Emma, scurrying right back to Herald's side. "I give no second chances, if you ever appear before me again, I will kill you both." Atticus told her as his eyes grew cold, "Leave this city and never return." Atticus had seemingly given in to the pressure and would let Emma and Herald leave, but if Herald did not leave, then it is clear what would happen next. However, Herald had seemed to take the hint and opened up a portal, both him and Emma leaving.

☽ Emma watched as Herald decided to leave. She heard Atticus and looked over at him. Her ears pinned again and the looked towards the portal "Right... sorry for the trouble..." she muttered before bowing quickly and walking into the portal ((Exit)) ☾
Shira watched as the standoff came to a close. She looked at the stranger "This is Death City. You picked a bit of a cruddy time to arrive though." she told him. Her gaze went to Atticus, she walked over to him and took his metal hand with hers. "You are a good big brother." she told him calmly. "I will stay here and make sure the rest of the groups are alright... you might want to go talk to Charlotte." she suggested. She glanced towards Texas then before seeing the small portal Mirai went through "Texas... you might want to follow her. The war still isn't over and she needs her weapon." she told him, trying to move everything along. She looked towards the rest of the group "Either come with me and assist or head back to the refuge camp. The choice is yours."
Atticus turned his back and walked away, as Emma said her farewell and went through the portal right after Herald. From that point on, he considered both her and Herald his enemies and should either one step a single foot near Mirai or in Death City, he swore to kill them. Hearing Shira, Atticus stopped walking and faced her, as she grabbed his metal hand. "Sure." he muttered, as he really had nothing else to say. Divine was dead, Noira and the Blackwings are still growing in power and now Herald has become his enemy. There was nothing Atticus could say that could express his feelings. Letting go of her hand, Atticus backs away from Shira and makes his way towards the Medical Tents.

Texas looked up at Shira and gave a slow nod. "Okay..." he said before turning to the portal and walking through it, limping slightly due to his inured state. [[exit to Valley of Hidden Truths]]
Ina had expanded too much energy and by the time all the fighting stopped she fell unconscious, however when she felt a hand on her head she woke up. When she saw Michi she blushed slightly. "M...Mimi, did we win?" She asked as she sat up a bit and looked around.
