Winter sung softly, her voice sweet and beautiful sounded. As if nothing was wrong. But really, inside everything was fitting into place... yet breaking at the same time. Three things she found out: 3- Daniel doesn't care about her. 2- Somehow she still loves him deeply and fully. 1- She wanted more than anything for things to return to normal again. She laid Aaron down in his cradle and snuggled under her own sheets. She stared out the window, day-dreaming before falling off into a fitful sleep.

daniel held his head still sleeping as he trembled a bit, hissing under his breath. he fisted his hands against his head pulling his legs up more

Winter was awoken by a gentle knocking on her door. She got up to answer it, finding Anna there with two guards behind her. Her hands were in chains. Winter took a step back, knowing what this meant. The market had come to collect her and Anna with a few others. She looked back at the room and headed towards Aarons cradle when a guard stopped her. "We'll take care of him." She looked up at the guard and sighed before the cold iron met her hands. She was led out into the hall with some of the other slaves before a guard knocked on Daniels door. One question crossed her mind: Who let them in?

Daniel groan as he woke up heading to the door as he rubbed his head gently. He looked at the guards and then downstairs "who said you can take them, especially my wife and child" he said hissing at them. "let them go no or i shall call your boss and tell them you are kidnapping slaves" he walked down to winter, and took the chains off "go get the child" he spoke calmly

Winter looked up at Daniel and nodded, running off to get Aaron, she came out with him in her arms as the guard showed papers to Daniel. "We have orders sir, some papers for these slaves were never sent in. They are to be sent back, unless the correct papers can be found." Winter stayed behind Daniel, scared for all of slaves.

Daniel looked at them as he sighed "i figured that he would do this so i had all the papers copied." he said. He walked over to a drawer gently tapping it opening a compartment. he took the folder out and handed it to the guards. "those are all the papers for all of them." he said clamly

Winter smiled and the guards took the papers and released the slaves from the chains. The guard apologized and left, and Winter saw all the slave runs to their mates and embrace them. Winter stood next to Daniel and kissed his cheek softly, "Thank you..."

Daniel moved away slightly as he looked at winter "i did it to protect you all nothing more" he said calmly

Winter whispered softly, "Daniel, I know you already know this, but I love you. Very much. If I didn't love you, I would've abortioned this baby like everyone else would have." She looked at him gently, and rocked Aaron softly, making him sleep softly.

Daniel looked at her gently 'yes but yet anything i tryed to do for you. You ignored me completly and did what you wanted no matter what" he said

Winter said gently, "I still did what you said anyway. The only person who knew about the baby was Anna, other than you. I stayed in my room and didn't go anywhere. I was a little crazy when I was pregant with the baby."

Daniel laughed as he looked at her "well seems you got your wish. everyone now knows you have a child and with me" he said coldly. he then headed back to the stairs rubbing his head a bit.

Winter rushed after him, keeping in mind the child. She got him to turn around and she pressed her lips to his. When she pulled away, she looked at him and said, "The only thing I've ever wanted is you.I don't care that the others know. I care about you. You're everything I could've ever asked for and more." Her cheeks flushed when she said this but her eyes were soft and loving.

Daniel looked at her blushing slightly as he pulled back against the wall a bit. "i can see that, but winter i don't know anymore really"

Winter smiled softly and said what needed to be said, "Daniel, I'm sorry. For everything. I'm sorry about how I've treated you and I'm sorry for actually being a b***h, in adititude not literal. Please forgive me Daniel.... I miss you." The last words were more of mouthed than said but she meant it all the same.
