 єдglєрдш ((By the way Sumomo, could you please make Waterpaw's speeches a slightly darker colour? Cuz right now I have to highlight the whole text to read his thoughts and speeches...or it's probably just me and my bad eyesight.))
[Eaglepaw's whiskers were twitching as he took in the scents of the forest. Toads and lizards were plentiful, but he was hardly willing to put one of those in his mouth, no matter how delicious other cats may think those are. He could hunt for a vole or a mouse, or even catch a squirrel for himself. Letting his mind wander, he finally settled on a squirrel. He stalked deeper into the forest, opening his mouth to better catch scents, when a slight rustle of leaves caught his attention. He took a careful sniff and glanced sideways with his eyes. To his utter shock, he found himself looking at a snake - an adder, to be precise since he could clearly see the diamond pattern on the scaly back. Every instinct told him to flee, yet something else rooted him to the spot. This would be a chance to show the whole clan that he was worthy to be a warrior!]
[As quietly as he could, Eaglepaw shifted his body around and found himself looking staight into the reptile's beady black eyes with his own green orbs. For a split second, neither cat or snake moved. Then, at the same moment, both of them struck. The adder opened its jaws and hissed as it lunged for Eaglepaw, but the apprentice was expecting the attack. Leaping to one side nimbly, Eaglepaw hissed as he stamped down onto the adder's head and body and dug his claws in. Without giving the adder a chance to retaliate, Eaglepaw bit down viciously at the back of the snake's head, killing it instantly.]
His heart was thumping as he picked up the dead snake and walked back to the camp.] Bet that half clan fleabag can't catch a mouse even if it was sleeping between his paws. [He thought as he nudged aside the ferns that hid the camp from view, making his way to the fresh kill pile with the adder dangling from his jaws.]

   [Leopardpaw blinked gratefully at Fathom. Her training continued until she was panting extremely hard, yet she was eager to do more, not tired in the least. She whirled around, expecting to see hi waiting for her as she leapt at him, but as she practically bowled him over, she realized his thoughts were in another place. With Lavenderrain, I'd suspect. Leopardpaw pushed the thought away. It wasn't true! She knew it, and Lavenderrain and Fathom had both told her! Why was the thought still nagging?!
She shook her head to clear her jumbled thoughts. She was breathing hard, for the first time she realized, she was getting tired. She knew at sometime, she had to tell Fathom about Moonflower. Yet she didn't want to betray her friend. She decided that Fathom needed to know, and she needed to share it with someone she trusted. Slowly she raised her eyes.]
"Well, Fathom . . . You wanted to know about Moonflower. I guess I can tell you now.
[Leopardpaw scuffed the ground with a golden forepaw. She looked up, her eyes clouded with pain and sadness.]
"A few moonrises ago, I followed her scent to the forest outskirts, betond any of the Clans' territory. I found her and she told me that she was no longer Moonflower- she was Rain. She said that she couldn't come back to NightClan, though I practically begged her. She refused. She said that she was afraid of what you would do to her. She said that you. . .hated her, and that's why Shiningkit isn't an apprentice and I'm not a warrior."
[Leopardpaw looked at the ground, but her head snapped back up.]
"But I don't believe her!"

   (( Shiningkit was her apprentice, right? D:
And, no, cat's don't sweat. xD They pant, just like dogs, and have saliva as well, though not as excessively as dogs.
Btw, I uploaded some new art on my dA page. : o It's pretty...;D I'd love it if you checked it out. D: ))
[Fathom froze. His eyes widened, and his furr rippled.]
"That's...none of that's true! I don't hate her, but I wish she wouldn't act so impulsively-what? By herself?"
[Fathom's eyes narrowed.]
"She just wants to be the boss," he spat angrily, "because she can't follow anyone's rules but her own!"
[Fathom paused, then hung his head.]
"No. I didn't mean that...oh, StarClan, I've gone and driven one of my warriors away from her home. How can I be a fit leader if this is what I cause."
[He sighed, and closed his eyes.
Wouldn't it just be better if you killed them all?
Fathom froze.
You could start with her...she's making your name look bad...and then go for the one in front of you. She knows too much, eh?
Fathom's eyes bugged out.
Who are you?! How dare you suggest such vile things to me!
Just think about it, hm? You'd be powerful enough to do it! You're leader, after all!
What are you?!
I'm the one who never got a chance to live.
Fathom shuddered, trying to shut the voice out.
No use. I've been here the whole time...I just haven't been strong enough to speak. Now that these slayers are here, I'm gaining strength inside you!
Fatom tried to act calm, because Leapordpaw was there, but he was panicking.
If you're a spirit from the Dark Forest, then begone! I won't kill anybody, especially not Leapordpaw!
Aw, don't be such a kit!]

[Leopardpaw blinked as Fathom stuttered. She touched her tail-tip to Fathom's soulder to comfort him.]
"No, it wasn't your fault. At the Gathering, she was the one who broke the warrior code, and you were simply doing you duty! Why should anyone blame you?"
[Leopardpaw cocked her head. Her eyes widened as she felt panic grip Fathom. She could feel it. She could feel him trying to control his panic. The only thing that made her curious was why he panicked. She stepped to his side and pressed her pelt comfortingly to his side. She flicked her ears, keeping alert unless there was danger around, or the Slayers had come loose!]

Dapplekit [Dapplekit's tail twitched.] "I wish there was something to do around the nursery. Maybe we can hunt!" [she mewed to Silverkit. She crounched down and jumped onto a nearby bug that had made the mistake of crossing through the nursery.] "See! You try." [she said. Her words muffled by the bug in her mouth.]

[Waterpaw watched Eaglepaw slyly out of the corner of his eye.
Shiningkit looked up at him with awe.
He sighed, resigned to play this way with a kit.]
"Nah, Dapplekit did." he mewed nonchalantly to her, amused at her shocked face.
"No, you fur-ball! Of course I caught it. I'm actually quite proud." he mewed, blinking at her sheepishly.
[He nodded curtly at her shining face and walked to the fresh-kill pile.
Wonder caused him to look longer than he should've.]
Whoa, Eaglepaw caught an adder. He may be a mouse-brain but he's no liar when it comes to skill. he thought grudgingly.
[He whipped around and caught a contemptuous look on the apprentice's face.]
Mouse-brain! You stayed too long and he's noticed. he thought, his ears feeling increasingly warm.
[He skidded in a full circle finally deciding to speak to Lavenderrain.]
"I'm gonna clear out the elders' den. Unlike some lazy apprentice's, I know my duties." he said without looking backwards, but he could feel the hate Eaglepaw emanated.
[Lavenderrain gazed at him with some unknown emotion in her eyes.
She nodded briskly turning her attention back to Nightpaw.
He flicked his tail a couple of times and padded evenly towards the den, passing by Eaglepaw slowly.
Waterpaw was sure he had a mouthful to say to him.]

[Eaglepaw was about to turn around and walk away when he caught sight of the giant raven that lay on the fresh-kill pile.] Whoa, who caught that? [He only just managed to stop himself from opening his mouth in wonder, and his gaze shifted to see Waterpaw with a smug look on his face.] Did he catch that? No way! He can't have...right? [His expression hardened as he took one more long look at the raven, before padding in the opposite direction into the forest for some more prey. As he passed Waterpaw, he caught his voice and the new deputy's, putting emphasis on the words "some lazy apprentices". Was he calling him lazy? Fine! Eaglepaw would show him that he, a Nightclan cat through and through, was better than some mangy half-clan fleabag!]
"Be sure to cover yourself with fox dung first! The elders aren't going to like your half clan stench clinging to their nests!"
[Eaglepaw spat in contempt as he glared at Waterpaw in hatred, unaware that the clan deputy was nearby and might overhear his insulting language.]

[Leopardpaw and Fathom bounded into camp after a long training session. She then realized that today she was leaving for the journey!]
"Fathom, am I ready to go on this journey? I'm the only apprentice going, and are you sure that I'm ready?""I'm sure that you're ready, Leopardpaw. You have proved it many times over. Now, go and let the other cats know that they will be leaving very soon."
[Leopardpaw nodded, then dashed off to find the other cats accompanying her on the journey.]

[Foxfur padded out of the warrior's den, and watched as the cats that were going on the journey bounded out of the camp. Many things had happened before today that could have resulted in NightClan not even making the journey, but they were still going. He walked to the middle of the camp and sat in a patch of sunlight, warming himself]

[Richkit bounded happily around the camp. He was so happy that his mother as deputy. Richkit wanted to be an apprentice so badly. While richkit was thinking about that he wasn't watching where he was going and ran into Waterpaw. Richkit looked at Waterpaw and said,]
"Oh! I'm really sorry Waterpaw. I wasn't watching where I was going. I'm really sorry!"

[Shiningkit padded out of the nursery. Her eyes were still groggy with sleep and she squinted as the bright sunlight came into her eyes. She padded over to Richkit.] "Richkit, do you know where Moonflower is? I haven't seen her in a while."

 H o n e y k i t“A joke is a very serious thing.”___________________________(( For those who haven't heard, Honeykit will be NightClan's medicine cat apprentice. :3 So, whenever you get a chance, Hauntedheart, take him under your wing. : D ))
[Honeykit slinked out of the nursery, moss still clinging to his golden pelt as he yawned and stretched. Smiling, he shook his fur clean of moss and leaves just before hearing Shiningkit's question to Richkit. His gaze fell to the floor. He'd heard that Moonflower abandoned NightClan, left to live her life as a shameful loner. But why? Rumors went around that she'd thought Fathom would kill her for somehow causing Ravenstar's death, but then again, they were just rumors.
The young golden tom padded up to Shiningkit and Richkit, his green eyes displaying cluelessness, though sheening with knowledge.]
“I heard Moonflower's been sent by Fathom on an important mission. Maybe that's where she's been these past few days.”
[Honeykit sat down, his long tail curling around his forepaws as he settled. He licked a paw and drew it over one of his big ears, wondering how the two kits would take the fake news he presented.]___________________________ . .

[Shiningkit looked over at Honeykit.] "But Fathom would tell us if that was what happened!" she protested. [She thought back to when someone had told her about Moonflower.] "Oh no!" she squeaked. "She didn't!"

“Yeah...I'm sorry, Shiningkit. I know you two were close...But life goes on. You should look forward to getting a mentor. You're almost of age, right?”
[His voice lightening instantly and ears twitching, Honeykit tried to quickly change the subject. He didn't exactly love to break harsh news to cats, though since he was going to be a medicine cat, he'd have to learn to like it.]___________________________..
