He was just as shocked as she was. "I'm pretty sure she did, though it sounded more like a squeaking noise." Curious he squeezed her stomach again, this time also squeezing her side.

Shilo laughed more and batted at his hand. "Nooo." She squeaked.
Moya laughed and kissed Shilo's forehead. "My my, aren't we growing up really fast."

He smiled and took her back to their room, laying her on the bed. "No what, Shilo? No to this?" He tickled her again, this time everywhere he could reach. "Or this?" Tilting down he blew bubbles against her stomach, sounding like and elephant.

Shilo laughed and tried to get away, wiggling and turning. "No no no no no!!"
Moya leaned in the door frame and watched them, a big smile on her face.

Laughing he picked her up and tossed her lightly in the air, catching her and kissing her head. "Yes." Going back to Moya he kissed her gently before kissing her forehead, passing Shilo to her. "And now Mommy gets to do whatever she wants to you while I go make lunch." Squeezing her one more time he went downstairs and started making grilled cheese sandwiches.

Moya took Shilo over to the bed and started to attack her, tickling her sides and gently biting her stomach, making her laugh hard.
While her mother attacked she laughed and squeaked and continued to yell, "Noooo!!"

He could still hear them from downstairs and laughed to himself, putting the sandwiches on plates and getting a small bowl of applesauce for Shilo. No matter how big she seemed, she was still toothless. Super solid foods were out of the question. "Lunch time girls!"

Moya chuckled and picked Shilo up, kissing her forehead before going downstairs and putting Shilo in a high chair. She took her plate and sat on the edge of the counter, not knowing that Nik got Shilo some food as well.
Shilo looked at the chair and started to gently bang on the tray, trying to figure out what it was for.

Nik smiled and took his plate with him to the table, sitting in the chair next to Shilo. "Easy there Killer, it has a purpose." Setting the bowl of apple sauce on the tray he lifted up the little spoon and dipped it in the sauce, coming back with a little bit and holding it up to Shilo. "Try it."

Shilo looked at the spoon and then grabbing his wrist and putting the spoon in her mouth, her eyes going wide at the taste. She laughed and squeaked, trying to take the spoon from him now so she could try.
Moya chuckled and turned so she was facing them but still on the counter. This was her favorite spot and was a place where she didn't feel like she had to be proper or anything.

He chuckled at that and gave her the spoon, a napkin on hand just in case. Taking a bite of his sandwich he looked over at Moya, smiling at her. Over the last month or so he had gotten used to seeing her up there, no matter how many times he told her she could act like a bum at the table. She liked the counter. "What's the smile for?"

"Watching you be a dad. I never got to really see it, so it makes me smile and feel blessed that I found you." She smiled at him and ate her sandwich quietly.
Shilo looked at the spoon then at the bowl. She put it into the bowl gently and lifted it back up, coming away with some apple sauce. she aimed for her mouth but got her cheek instead. She tried again but once again missed her mouth. She gave up on the spoon and just left it on the table. She reached for the bowl with her hands and tipped it over, getting her hands coated in the stuff before putting them in her mouth.

Now he was fighting the urge to laugh, putting the bowl back upright. Luckily half of the sauce was still in it. Grabbing her hands lightly he started cleaning her off. "I oughta be saying that to you. She wouldn't have been possible and I wouldn't have been a father without you." Cleaning her face he picked up the spoon again, smiling and feeding her now. "We'll try that again some other time."

Moya looked up at Shilo and had to swallow a laugh and continued to eat. She started to think other thoughts, like now that she could heal faster maybe later tonight she and Nik could have their time after they put Shilo to bed for the night.
Shilo pouted a little but gave in, opening her mouth and eating the sauce.

The pout made him rub her hair lightly, finishing feeding her and eating the last of his sandwich before taking the dishes and washing them while whistling. Well now he knew Shilo liked applesauce.
