((Okay, well I figure since a) the only way Brook can stay alive on Lyoko is godmodding and b) since we need someone on Earth, it's best if she's devirtualized))
Brook's automatic thought was to block Ethan's oncoming attack with her wand, but too bad for her, she only had one wand and Ethan had two blades. Brook blocked one of them, but the other plunged into her shoulder, destroying her remaining life points. Brook's eyes went wide, and for a moment, everything seemed to be in slow motion for her, staring at the pixels breaking from her arm as Ethan's attack hit.
The next thing she knew, Brook let out a shriek as she tumbled out of the scanner and landed on her back. "Ow..." the girl sat up, shook her head, and looked around; it took her a second to remember where she was. I guess that's what happens when you die there... It looks like the others are still alive... she thought to herself, noting the closed scanners. Deciding her next course of action, Brook stood, heading for the elevator, figuring she could communicate with them the way Alicia did earlier, by using the headset and the computer.

 ETHAN CASTELLAN
Ethan laughed to himself. It was evident to him that Brook really didn't know how to fight. He had knocked aside her wand with a wide sweep of one blade, before stabbing her through the shoulder with the other, burying it up to the hilt. He grinned as he pulled the sword out, twisting 90 degrees purely for the sake of inflicting additional pain. He turned away after he saw her start devirtualizing, toward the sound of Conor's yelling. A vein twitched in his temple from the annoyance of hearing the boy's voice again.
"Shut up..." He locked his two swords together into bow form, before drawing back his left hand and shooting Conor through the head with a green arrow. The boy didn't even have time to turn around before the vividly glowing projectile skewered him, scattering white pixels all over as his wireframe form fell face-forward onto the rocky ground.
He turned to face the girl who had thrown the bombs. They had nearly hit him, but landed and exploded behind him due to the speed at which he had been running. She has above-average aim; I have to be careful of those bombs
"So you greet people by throwing things at them? You're so rude." He smirked, as if he wasn't cynical to the point of blatant disrespect himself. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

It didn't matter that she threw her weapons at him, he was too fast for them. To her dismay, the bombs had missed and landed away from him. They did not inflict any damage at all. She watched as Ethan had stabbed Brook causing her to get devirualized. Before she could do anything else, he had turned his attention to Conor and devirualized him as well. Everything was just happening so fast that she couldn't get to them in time. Alicia glared at the boy when he made his little comment. Damn him. Oh for she wished that something big and heavy would land on him and crush him. Her hand went straight to her belt as she kept her eyes on him. "Heh, you're calling me rude. That's really funny coming from something like you!" In all honesty, she had no idea if she could beat him or not on her own, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to try, especially after the last time they fought each other.

When Conor realized what was happening, it was far too late. Damn that b*****d... he thought as he stared, cross-eyed. at the tip and shaft of the green arrow that had impaled his head and was protruding from his nose. His eyes rolled and he blacked out for a second as he devirtualized.
He reappeared in an open scanner, with the familiar headache. Stumbling, he walked out toward the elevator door. "He has an obsession with headshots... even more so than a halo junkie," he muttered darkly. I was doing so well this time! And then he HAD to shoot me.

 ETHAN CASTELLAN
"'Something?'" Ethan arched a brow as he began walking toward the girl. Her attitude didn't hurt his feelings like his tone suggested; it just made him slightly more annoyed. "I'm an inanimate object now? Not a human being? If that's how you lyoko warriors see us, then let me tell you this: XANA has already won. With the world depending as heavily as they do on information systems, computers, and other electronics, it's only a matter of time before he uses you humans' very infrastructure against you. Humans are inferior in every single way. I -"
He stopped himself in midsentence and looked sideways briefly, as if he had forgotten something. His eyes snapped back to Alicia almost immediately. "You know what? I don't know why I'm telling you all this. I forgot where I was going. But either way..." he was standing threateningly close to Alicia now, only a few steps away. He extended his right hand and with a flick of his wrist, tossed his double-bladed staff several feet away from the two of them, where it landed on the hard ground with a clang.
"... put 'em up." He smirked as he raised his loosely curled fists in a fighting stance. There's more than one way to skin a cat... "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

Alicia went into a defensive stance as Ethan began walking over to her. Did she struck a nerve with that last comment? It doesn't matter either way. She thought to herself knowing full well that she had to defend him fast if they wanted to get rid of the XANA attack on Earth. Her face changed slightly when he began to talk about XANA and his influence over people. The computers taking over humans? She let out a small chuckle as he spoke. "You underestimate us humans. what makes you think that XANA can actually beat us?" she said but didn't continue as he got closer, a little too close for comfort.
Her eyes caught the slight movement of his right arm. She watched him closely as he threw his weapon away from them. Why would he do that? It doesn't make sense. Is he that arrogant? Alicia raised an eyebrow as she saw him raise his fists up. "Are you serious? You really expect me to believe that you'll fight without a weapon? Let me guess, you get me to throw my weapon and you'll pull a knife from your sleeve right?"

 ETHAN CASTELLAN
Ethan chuckled, shaking with barely-contained laughter as he kept his hands in front of him. His eyes opened wide as he suddenly cracked up in earnest, as if Alicia's last sentence was the funniest thing he had heard in a long time. It would have sounded almost good-natured, had there not been a demonic light in his eyes that made him appear not-quite-entirely-sane.
"You think you can beat me unarmed? Go ahead, throw away those bombs if you want to be stupid," he said as he brought his laughing back under control. He shook his right arm, the arm his outfit's single long sleeve was covering, to show the girl that she was wrong. "I haven't heard anyone say something that arrogant since that little jackass friend of yours showed up at Kadic!"
He punctuated his last word by lunging straight at Alicia, his right hand shooting forward toward her throat. He didn't know or care if the Lyoko Warriors would feel pain the same way he did whenever he was physically struck by an object, but he was determined to take her down with his bare hands. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

"Hey," Brook said as Conor emerged from the scanners. Starting to notice the throbbing in her head, she rubbed her temples with the tips of her fingers, attempting to ease the pain. "Urgh... that was unpleasant..." she muttered. She noted Conor seemed to have a similar reaction. Side-effect?
"So what now?" she asked, leaning back against the wall next to the elevator for support.

"I don't know. But I'm guessing that guy with the long black hair killed you too?" Conor cringed as he looked upward. The artificial light made his eyes water, before his pupils adjusted.
"We should go up and check on the others. Maybe try to get rid of those guys by messing with the programming. That last part might not work, however, since I'm not that great with the supercomputer..." He looked up and inadvertently locked eyes with Brook, before looking away awkwardly.

"Yeah, pretty much," Brook said, her arm inadvertently reaching up for her shoulder. She cringed a little, remembering where he had struck her. She'd felt some pain, but there weren't any actual injuries. The whole thing was just extremely weird.
"Yeah," she agreed simply, thinking. How long has it been since I've been here? There's no clocks or anything... It feels like forever... She locked eyes with Conor for a moment and looked away. Her eyes wandered over to the elevator button, which she pressed her hand against.

She had to admit the laughter of her enemy had caught her off guard. What is with this guy? Is he insane? She thought as she watched him carefully. Sure he said that he had no hidden weapons, but that didn't mean that she was going to believe him. Alicia placed her hand securely on her bomb as Ethan seemed to go into another little rant. Boy did she want to shut him the hell up as he started to insult her.
"Wait," Alicia began as he said something that grabbed her attention. "What did you mean by-" Before she could finish her sentence, his hand went straight for her throat. He was too fast for her to throw up a shield before his hand went around her neck. She struggled for air as the pressure on her throat became unbearable. Instinctively, her free hand started to claw at his wanting him to let her go. Her panicked state made her momentarily forget about her weapon, she just wanted to pull him off of her.
