Yakyumo Ran Those nendroids (are they nendroids or just figures?) are really adorable! Even though that suddenly, Rena! is a little scary. What's your address? I'm going to rob you. Just figures. My friend bought a Sakuya Nendoroid, though. Most expensive thing he bought at the con. Oh, and I live here.. This place surely ain't for the faint of heart.

Aw boo, that's a shame. How much was the box going for.
Truth be told, I mainly got the box for Patchy, Chen, Kaguya, and Marisa. Everyone else was just a bonus, lol.

Happy late birthday Reisen.
As for Anatole, I believe Ran and Wotan expressed my sentiments exactly. At least I get to bond with Parsee as we exchange heated emails of all the things we are jealous of.
Well my own birth day is next week and I am heading to a local con tomorrow.

I'm planning my outfit for the next Anime Central convention, but that's almost a year away. Our Touhou group there is going to have an outing in a month, though.

ACen is the closest convention for me. I only live about 45 minutes away, or so...
Next May is going to be Rumia and maybe Orin, then Parsee for the May after that, since I have a partner who will be going as Mystia and Yuugi respectively. I have half a mind to get a group together for a Cowboy Bebop cosplay, but I think that can wait for abit longer.

Ah its nothing to envy. The cons here are comparitively bad. At least it actually looks like a con this time, last year it was basically held in an oversized basement, the year before that a local college and the year before that there was none at all -_-.
I really wanted to get some touhou merchandise this year, but they only had two in the entire dealers room. One a Aya pvc for 150 and the other a busted up Nendoroid of Marisa for 100. crying On a related note, I got to stop haphazardly insulting the dealers. I tend to voice some thoughts out loud and "Jerks. they are really trying to milk us Touhou fans" tend to slip out while standing next to them >_> Since I came to the con with a mere 100 before purchasing my pass, I instead got a Megurine Luka Nendoroid and a couple vocaloid nendoroid petite.

Momo-Con is just a con held at a local university, Georgia Tech to be exact. AWA is in a huge hotel and galleria center. So nice.
Neither con ever has Touhou merch. It's upsetting, really. You can find a brand new Marisa nendoroid online for $80 btw.
I'm going for Alice in March, and possibly Nue, Mokou, and maybe even Kanako for various cons in the Summer I'll finally be able to make it to (like AX and Fanime).

ACen is held at an actual convention center, with some good hotels nearby. One of the biggest ones, if I remember right... held out in the middle of the cornfields...
We have atleast one Touhou dealer, and quite afew in the Artists section if you can find them. The Touhou dealer happens to be right between the yaoi/yuri table and the hentai table. It scared me when I first found it... Then I started to laugh.
I got two doujin from them, and a nice ReiMari picture from the Artist Alley. Plushies sell out on the first day, but I managed to find a lonely little Marisa plushie at a tiny booth in the middle of the Center. Only $15. I doubt they even knew what they had~
Hopefully next year or so I'll be able to go to SakuraCon or something, but for now it's just ACen.
We had a good turnout... Suika, Flandre, Sakuya, Marisa, Alice, Reimu, Suwako, Iku, etc... I went as Hina.
We have abunch of various cosplays for next one, though. All of the nineballs will be there, including me, but we're still missing daiyousei. I wonder if I can find a Daiyousei to go after I start college...
Edit: Just remembered we had a Youki cosplayer~ ^^ THAT was popular.
