Alicia took deep breathes. She wasn't used to using so much power at one time, and the attempt drained her energy. "It's... nothing..." she panted, wiping her forehead. "I just... wish I could do more... for Louise... and... I'm so confused... with what has happened so far... when this is all over... you have some explaining to do..." She smiled weakly, trying not to worry Gabriel.

Gabe covered Joey's mouth. "I adopted him. He was orphaned on the streets. The least I could do was help him." Gabe smiled at Laung, still covering Joey's mouth casually.
