((Heehee. I see you noticed Takeshi's absence.))
Legion flew threw the door into their room. He glared at his warlocks, then at the other hunters. He met Josh's eyes.
"Let me finish Abaddon?"
Josh considered it. Jonathan walked in.
"Yes or no!" Legion snapped.
"No." Jonathan drew his sword with a grin. Josh pulled his arms tightly around himself and wings of light emerged from his back. He relaxed and similar white-light plate mail faded into existence upon him.
The three were in a brief standoff. The silence was so intense even the noises from the street seemed muted.
Helmsborough struck first, whipping both hands up, one at each of them. Legion jerked his foot and a chair flew into the way, blocking the chain as he rushed under it, leading by pushing the chair and jumping into a dropkick. The chain thrown at Josh undulated, slashing at Legion's leg. Josh whipped the chain again. Legion finished his kick on Helmsborough, releasing a shockwave as their shields intersected, and magically tossed the chair at Josh. Josh head butted it; it exploded into splinters and sawdust. Jonathan yanked his arm back, making Josh stumble forward; Josh promptly turned it into a shoulder ram, throwing Helmsborough into the wall with another shockwave as Josh slipped under the swing with the sword from his other hand. Legion, still on the floor after his dropkick, lashed a foot out at Josh's ankles, releasing a concussive blast to complement the shockwave and take Josh to the floor. Josh turned his back to Legion and a pair of shockwaves emerged as Josh beat Legion's head with his wings. Legion roared and thrust his hand at Josh, blowing him into the next room. Helmsborough swung at the prone Legion, who countered with another hand blast. He stood again as Josh flew - literally flew - into him, wings of light extended, and smashed Legion into a wall. He began to pound Legion's face, something that was seemingly the standard way to wear down a magic shield.
Abaddon's avatar ran up from behind and gave a two-handed thrust of his sword, but Josh and Legion had disengaged already to dodge it. Helmsborough smiled at Josh and circled around him, putting Josh between him and Legion. Both began approaching. Josh's hands dropped to his side. The two demons charged.
"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee <********>!" Josh abruptly shouted. Both demons stumbled and caught a handful of the Titan's Fists.
"Dirty b*****d!" Abaddon roared, whipping both chains at Josh as he stumbled back, wrapping both around Josh's arm. Josh dropped to the ground as Legion blasted fire across the room, roaring past Josh's dodge to Helmborough, who countered by stomping his foot and raising a wall of rock that clearly hadn't been contained in the floor. He ran forward and kicked it when Legion ceased his fire, and received Josh, who had been thrown by Legion in the face. Josh pushed off of Helmsborough and ran across the open air to give Legion a soccer kick in the face, dropping to the floor and pushing back Helmsborough with his wings, in spite of Helmsborough's pull on his chains.

Joe looked at Aurelie with great sadness. "Come on! We were friends, I didn't mean to betray you guys! Just...what good does serving Legion do anyone?" He gestured at the huge brawl that was raging nearby. "At least now I have a chance to actually help people." He started to back down the stairs warily, keeping fires popping in his hands and the wind at his back.

Siber looked at his arms and legs and chest and butt and made a valiant effort to see his face, but unfortunately was only able to witness the blood there through tactile observation; warm liquid in any form has a tendency not to go unnoticed. The number of scrapes was surprising, given he had remembered... wait, he thought, let me recount... zero chains hitting him. Doubly surprising was the lack of any analogous lacerations on the other humans. Happily, Joe had apparently become fairly apt at healing magic; mortal necessity tends to augment any thus-necessitated skills. "Thanks!" he thanked thankfully. Blood is blinding betimes in battle. Once he had again coordinated himself, he observed the clash of the titans. Or, more accurately, the clash of one titan and two coagulates of unhappy souls. Josh's single-minded hatred of Legion apparently was actually dually-minded, given his treatment of Abaddon during the battle. As entertaining as the confrontation was, though, Siber had more to think about. Joe and Aurelie were apparently undergoing a more verbal clash. He wished Kayla were with them; they weren't outnumbered, but it would be good to have another friendly body in the room when Takeshi decided to drop back in. Aurelie had turned her back, but the others were still watching, so no choices there. "Aurelie!" Siber called melodiously, waving. "Oh, Aurelie and Erik and Samuel and other person whose name I don't know yet! Would it be totally futile to suggest we get away from this ugly mess downstairs? Swiftly? I'm suggesting the fire escapes, but we can all ride the elevators, if you'd rather. I think we could all stuff inside one car, although it might be a little tight. What say you?" He wished for a white flag of momentary truce. Instead, he extracted a steel fan from his jeans, snatched a displaced sheet of printer paper, and hoisted the latter attached to the former in an effort to communicate his very temporary goodwill. "Or..." He turned to Alan, lowering his voice. "Is it possible for you to just warp us to a more combat-suited place, or does your jurisdiction go wonky in Crossover?"

Joe stopped backing away, then grinned and walked back to stand by Siber. He raised his flaming hands and let the flames fade away as a sign of goodwill. "Come on guys, let's just get out of the blast zone and handle ourselves, ourselves. OK?"

"We step through Crossover when I warp you. We can only move as fast as our feet, elevators, and cars can take us here," Alan responded, arms crossed. "And don't let Abaddon's avatar contact you; his shielding isn't like Josh or Legion's. Watch where he moves," Alan explained.
Wherever Abaddon stepped or came near something, it began to fray or crack or, in the case of metals, rust.
"His shield is essentially magic reactive armor that detonates on anything. When he puts it at his full power, I've seen him collapse a whole room. I was in it at the time. Anyway, I, for one, don't want to stick around with him. I'll go with you guys; Sam would be more helpful to Josh if he needs it. Anyway, what do you guys say?" Alan finished, turning to the warlocks under Legion.

Chaos stood by the others and raised a brow at the Hunters. Then kept her eyes on the two fighting, and brought her third eye into foces so that she could see whatever Aurelie was talking about. Her eyes went wide but she said not a word, not about to tell the hunters anything of use. She turned back to them then, arms crossed. She pitched her voice high and waved back mimicking Aurelie's earlier gesture at Joe with both hands and a big fake smile on her face.
"O-kay! How about HELL NO. Temporary no-flames and paper aside, not happening. Your leader can't even call a truce long enough to see his two most hated enemies clash it out until one is gone, just jumps in like a moron and goes to fighting. There's no way we are going anywhere with you guys. And, we are not abandoning our leader. You supposed good guys can run along if you wish to go play in the streets. We'll just stay here."
Then she turned her attention to Aurelie and spoke to her and Erick and Samuel. "Well this is fine and great but what the hell are we going to be able to do at the moment. Wait!" She motioned for them to step closer and lowered her voice so only they could hear.
"Okay, mr titans fister over there is in ultimate pure goody guy mode. Our leader and the avatar are the complete opposite, if TF can hurt our leader and the other one with holy curses and white good pure powers," she added sarcastically, " then we should be able to reverse it, right? I mean, if chanting god and hail mary bothers them like this, then what would something bad do to him?" She thought a moment and then rubbed her forhead. "Never been in a satanic church, I don't know any curses and whatknot! -da#$%t!- But, I bet I can find some out on this little demon superhighway I have here, and my shadow demons should be able to help out too!"
Stepping back she then looked up at Siber, remembering his earlier comment and yelled, "I'm CHAOS. You'll see."
She said merrily. Then she closed her eyes and hoped the other three would keep her from getting a bad case of er, whiplash, while she searched for information.
((Hey Legion, its up to you if this works, just thought it would be cool. >3 ))

The most helpful suggestion her demons could give was a reversed recital of the Lord's Prayer, which they walked her through.
It did not do anything to Josh directly, but theoretically it might've been related to the near-perfect uppercut on him by Legion, which launched him up a floor. Abaddon threw a reverse punch with his left hand. Legion bent backwards without moving his feet, in a move disturbingly similar to one seen in a certain famous sci-fi movie.
Helmsborough's chain whipped out of his sleeve and wrapped around Legion's neck unaided, explaining much of his prior fighting. Legion grunted then yelled, expanding his shield visibly, a sort of ripple of air, the chain being blown back by it. The chain snaked back into his sleeve as Legion flipped backwards out of its failed hold.
As the two faced off, Legion's skin began cracking. Helmsborough's eyes widened and he raised his sword.
"Don't," he warned. "This won't end well for any of us if you do." The skin continued to crack.

Joe sighed. "Damn it," he said, shaking his head. "You guys just never learn. You can never change. That's why I left!" He allowed the flames that had been wanting to light themselves on him to flare back up, and he clenched his fists. "What are we gonna do?" he asked quietly to any one of his teammates that could hear him.

Siber sighed and put away his various materials. This was ridiculous. How retarded could one group of people be? remarked Keldan.
He opened his Ajna briefly, just to glance for traps, and in fact did find something that drew his attention. Chaos's third eye was wide open and staring. Also, the avatar was apparently much more dæmonic than originally anticipated, but that was less important. Immediately, he closed his own. This provided interesting possibilities. He opened his personal link to his dæmons. Monoculous, are your abilities at all long-range? That depends on whether you count speed-of-sound melee and retreat as long-range. I do not. Then that is my answer as well. Darn. What if I, like, gave you something to throw at someone? Is it possible for you to miss? Well, I am just a first-level, but in general, I don't miss. And if I gave you a definite target, say, magically highlighted? No, I would not miss. Fan-frickin'-tastic. "Joe. I actually do have an idea." He lowered his voice. "I'm going to summon my aiming dæmon. Then, I'm going to highlight Chaos's third eye with a shadow patch. The instant you see the dæmon come in, I want you to toss it a ball of either fire or electricity or whatever is bright, piercing, and powerful. He'll do the rest. Get it?" He began to prepare the two magicks. Get ready. As ever am I.

Joe nodded and began quickly gathering as much pure energy as he could into his hands. A ball of bright, white flame appeared there, growing larger and brighter by the second. "Ready when you are," he grunted to Siber as he continued to build up energy.

[[ ^.^ Yes, I noticed, I had been wondering for some time but just figured I had missed that part, guess not. X3 ]]
Aurelie growled low under her breath, glaring suspiciously at Joe and Siber.
With her third eye still open she could see Joe gathering energy, though she didn't really need to use her third eye to see it crackling around him. She was tired of this. Tired of thier mightier than thou attitudes. Tired of thier I am more powerful bullshit. She just couldn't take it anymore.
"WE never change? Like you would even know! You were here for what? The one fight before you changed sides? Your right, we might not change, I stay behind my leader. But what would your precious teammates think about the things you did before you changed over to thier side, the poor innocent people you slaughtered, thier blood on your hands? What would your leader say then? O, it's ok?!? Ha! I bet you haven't told them anything about it, and how you were more excited then than you seem to be now on thier side. You haven't have you? I will bet you haven't said a word. For fear they will throw you back to Legion at his mercy. Poor poor Joe. Think your so much better now? What a delusional little thing you are.
But it's alright. You want to fight us? We don't have to go anywhere!"
She could see they had both been focused on Chaos, who was completely ignoreing them as she considered the two no threat to her. Aurelie clapped her hands together, a thunderclap sounded then electrity began arcing around her. Focuseing on Joe before he guessed her intent she swung her hands towards him. Bolts of lightening the size of her arm shot toward him, a whole wall of them as she laughed. Then she clenched a fist and the floor began bukcing up under them, making it crumble to nothing out from the hole that was already through the center of the room from Legion and Helmsboroughs fight. In her mind was still the same question she had earlier asked. Where the hell is Takeshi???

Monoculous appeared just as the wall of lightning did. this is unfortunate,> muttered Siber. As planned, the instant the dæmon faded into existence, he blasted Joe's ball of energy into Chaos's targeted third eye with enough force to most definitely blind it and probably send her staggering back several feet. Then, of course, he had to juggle the butterfly onto this plane so she could set up an energy shield so their skin would remain intact (it still set him significantly staggering; he wasn't an evoker and wasn't all that prepared for a wall of electricity), but then the floor started to buckle. love stupid evokers,> he thought, picking himself up on the undulating concrete.
Unfortunately for Aurelie, she had not considered the generally contiguous nature of floors. They do, in fact, extend in all directions simultaneously, as do any lines of force traverse the entire plane of the floor. Waves of energy flowed from her blow to the floor she was standing on, cracking the weakened concrete and threatening the steel beneath all combatants. "Just let yourself fall, Joe." It was true that Siber and Joe were falling, but given that this rendered them at least moderately invisible once they hit the next floor, it was not particularly momesome. Besides, he thought as a burly pair of arms caught the two of them and tossed them deftly away, simply assuming the others were trained enough to either not fall or catch themselves, I have Sapphra. He bowed his thanks to the beastly blue dæmon before she, too, vanished.

Joe put a hand on Siber's shoulder. "Let me handle this one. You be ready with your demons in case of an emergency." He stalked into the dust and rubble, flaring brighter and brighter as he walked. He raised a hand and the wind flashed through momentarily, blowing the smoke out of his path on the way to Aurelie. None of the other enemy Warlocks mattered. He stepped over a pile of broken floor, sliding down the other side before anyone other than he and Siber had been able to stand (due to their demonic assistance). He raised his hand, where twirling, hypnotizing flames were dancing and rolling up and down his arm. He placed it a few inches from Aurelie;s head, disallowing any movement on her part. "You have no idea of anything," he said softly, in a deadly voice. "You weren't there. You never watched when Legion used his power or the amount of death that he could casually deal out. I killed to keep myself from death. Even so, I killed as few people as I could and I saved the people that the other Warlocks maimed or tried to kill. Don't ever," (here sparks shot out around her head in a flaring storm) "assume you know what happened before you arrived. And in answer to your question, yes. My new boss would forget about my past when he realizes what I can do for the future. And I was never excited about any of the killing. EVER." He advanced on her, the flames on his arm expanding and roaring as the smoke cleared slowly.
