Bri? Meri? Anyone else? How do I get a job as a dev? I want that job more than anything else in the world. Do I even have a chance anymore...? I wouldn't blame Gaia for not wanting me, really. I don't think I'd be all that pleasant to work with.

Well with any job in life, regardless of quality of work output, if an employee isn't pleasant to work with, they get the boot. If you're worried about how you're perceived by yourself and others (as I assume that's what you mean by your message) it might be a good idea to work on improving your interpersonal skills?

The bolded part is thousand times untrue but I digress.
Lucca, be proud of your work, but your best foot forward and try your hardest. Your work is amazing.

I try to be nice. I really do sad I'm just deathly afraid that people see me as that stuck-up kid who claims to have asperger's syndrome as an excuse to chew out anyone who criticizes me... I can never read what people think of me, which is why it's scary.

Meriko Congratulations Kari! heart Oh how exciting! I'm so happy for you and Matt~ I hope you find a great OBGYN and have a fun pregnancy. X3 Vin: *ahaha* A bookseller commented on my purchases when I bought three classical fictions and a Stephen King. I replied that Stephen King was a classic and he laughed and agreed with me. *randomly nuzzles Malee* Yea, I've gotten strange looks because of books that I've bought. But nothing worse then one store owner recognizing me because I came in too much. (It wasn't a book store... Although it isn't the reason she's gotta be thinking. I was just the first one to turn 18 with a car, so I got to bring all of my friends to the adult store first. XD) But Steven King is a good author.
Kari: At least you found the trick to it?
Lucca: I think your work is good enough. It defiantly a hell of a lot better then what I can do.

Lucca Ashtear I try to be nice. I can never read what people think of me, which is why it's scary. You're a talented artist Lucca-dear, but being extremely open to constructive criticism, accepting it humbly with tact, and improving because of it is a trait that all artists must have to fill an artist position for a job. An artist that can't do this 9 times out of 10 are bound to run into issues in the workplace, especially with their boss and other co-workers. I use to see this all the time when I was in college, and never have I seen a teacher in my life time that puts up with an artist that ignores their criticism. Alot of students in my classes dropped out of school because they felt that the teachers were being mean and harsh to them, when they were seriously in fact being stubborn and not wanting to improve on what they thought was perfect in their eyes. A good artist is always open to change, improvement, and especially criticism. Being talented is only one part of the equation.

If it's constructive, I definitely listen. It's the difference between "You're going to need to change up his face more before he actually looks like Harrison Ford" (I did, and Han Solo was vastly improved) and "No offense but those wings are ugly" (screw you, and learn some manners).

There's only one thing to do, three words for you: I love you.**can't believe she's wearing pink** o__o;; There's only one way to say those three words, and that's what I'll do: I love you.

Italy was much fun! Granted, I only went there to work, but I did get to enjoy a great view of Italy's mountains while I was there. I also got to sample some of the local food. ^_^ It was interesting, and tasted great.~ Lucca Ashtear If it's constructive, I definitely listen. It's the difference between "You're going to need to change up his face more before he actually looks like Harrison Ford" (I did, and Han Solo was vastly improved) and "No offense but those wings are ugly" (screw you, and learn some manners). Honestly? There have been a number of times where I've constructively commented on your work, and felt like you completely ignored my opinion. I don't know if that was unintentional or not, but it certainly came off that way. Perhaps if you acknowledge people who comment on your work, or perhaps just talk about the critiques themselves, people will understand that your not ignoring them. It can be very off-putting to take the time to give you an honest feedback, and then not get anything back on it. It feels like I wasted my time analyzing your work to help you better yourself.

Well we too the baby in to her two week appointment on Tuesday. Her doctor has no convcerns and said that she actually acts more like a 6-week-old. "Must have been the extra time in the oven."
I asked the doctor about my bleeding (we go to a family practicioner) and she said I'm probaly trying to do too much and I need to take it easy before we move. Of course there's not really much helping how much I'll have to be doing for the move. *sigh*
Wednesday we took the baby back to the hospital and her hearing passed! Yay!
Sunny: Congrats on the golden wings! That's awesome!
Meri: Thanks, we still haven't gotten onto a regular sleep schedule, but I'm getting 6 hours in one shift already! eek Just a week after we got home I started getting six hours at a time once a night. The down side is that this requires me to be out on the couch with her (I won't take her to bed with me) but hey I'm getting enough sleep to function!
Also a fan of your avatar. Very nice. <3
Vin: *hugs* Thanks! I'm still stressed about moving, but somehow it's going to have to get done.
Kari: Congrats again. *luffs on* Now I get to start rubbing your belly. 4laugh
Bridgey: Congrats!
Peter: What time is it there now? It's just after 5:30PM here.

Thanks. *hugs*
Kari: The first one things don't streach out quite as quickly. Either way it's usually about 3 months along that things start to not fit.
