Kanna stiffened slightly, the air on the back of her neck rising as she said, "I think there is only one way to explain this. Dorien's darker half split from him one more. I do have another explanation, but that would prove impossible for there has never been any reason to believe that there is another one like Sensei around..." she let the air around them play with her words until it settled upon them all, "Do you know anything about this?"

When Remus learned where the phoenix's power was coming from, he almost leapt off the wall. He thought wildly for a moment before deciding on a plan. "Salen! Can you go back and see what's happening at the base? Do whatever you can to help Lina... please... I would, but I still won't even realize she's there."

Ranier and Winistruya looked at each other then nodded in unison, "Dorien, created a daughter. I believe he hoped to make a second, but it turns out she is more than just his second. She's more of his equal. I do not suggest you tangle with her." Ranier said.
Winistruya raised a gold brow and her gaze flickered between Aster and Kanna. Slowly, one side of her mouth curled up in a knowing smile.
Aster, seeing this, flushed.

Kanna arched an eyebrow, not bothering to investigate that smile, "Sensei never told me of a daughter....why would she wait so long to emerge?" she asked, her indigo eyes flashing for a moment.
Why didn't he tell me...

The feathers dove infront of Ciran, taking most of the while the construct broke away. Ciran almost esaped, but was caught by three of the threads by his tailfeathers. He roared angrily, flapping furiously to break teh threads as ice crept up his body. Meanwhile, the last bits of feathers were hurtling towards Quinn.
Salen nodded, taking one last look at Malen and before taking off.

Kari watched the two speak quietly before closing her eyes, "Let's move now."

Dorien watched her for a long time before he left and moved outside towards the forest to begin his own training, one he knew he would need once he and Kari finally battle.

"She was far too busy destroying the elvan race." Ranier replied rubbing his temples, "Her emergence does not bid well, I fear it may just be the start of new troubles."
Winistruya's smile turned savage, "Looks like I returned just in time!" She said.
Ranier chuckled.

"Salen, wait a second." Othello asked as he formed a small ball of glittering white in his hand. He handed it to him and whispered in his ear.
"This should cool Lina down. If the magic used acts like I think it does, then the cooling process should bind Lina's own powers closer to her, meaning this pheonix or whatever it is won't be able to feed off of her. Quickly now, before Lina is drained!"
(Pardon me if it's a bit much... I'll edit it if need be.)

Salen took the ball and nodded, a grateful smile on his face before he took off onc emore. He may not know many ways in magic, but his speed was something to be reckoned with. He was almost a blur as he took to the rooftop, barely landing on the ground before jumping once more. He had to hurry for with the energy that bird was using had to be taxing.
Salen entered the base to hear utter choas in the direction of the Infirmary. Nurses were going in and out of the door after hears yells about ice and a cooling spell scroll. I've come just in time it seems... he thought before running towards them.

Kanna didn't find any of this funny and it aggravated her slightly that anyone would think so, but of course being trained by Dorien that was to be expected of her, "Then what is to be done?"
Troden turned slightly and nodded as he began to fly backwards, moving infront of Kari to lead the way.

Wini spoke then, "For the most part we wait, we watch. Dorien is in charge of this if we were to step in without his cue, he'd be quite upset, not to mention his daughter is a very dangerous woman and she's got an army of very dangerous elves at her back."
Ranier frowned, "If you wish, you can confront him on the manner but do not attack him on it. He's not particularly proud of this situation, even I won't tease him on this and I tease him about everything."

Kanna frowned, but reluctantly nodded. They were both right, even though the news that the daughter also worked with elves was a bit of a surprise to her. Was it truly wise to leave it just to Dorien if that is the case?

[I like it^^ It leaves plenty of room for alot of hell lol. And that Kanda guy...girl...whatever sounds like it can be tons of fun...but I can see good ol' Scarlett playing that one cool ]
"So...this is his resting place.." Kari said as she twirled her way inside, her jet back hair swaying lightly as she looked around, "It suits him well. And now it's mine." the grey light began to spread to the walls like thin tendrils of ink as she began to laugh, the green eyes flashing with grey. There was a flash as for a brief moment the spells within the building clashed with her own, but it was gone as she finally took it over.
"Now...to bring An'ari back from the grave."

Troden clearly fell the hairs on the back of his neck rise as he watched her work. She was powerful enough to override Doriens spells...either that had worn off or she was telling the truth about being his daughter. But even so, no child should be able to do it so easily...she had to be something more...
It was an idea that strangely made him shudder.
"Now...to bring back An;ari back from the grave."
Troden watched her intently, his red eyes narrowing slightly. She wasn't serious...He was dead so how is it possible to bring him back?

"Noninek...Hitonei...Kukinto...Zaiten!" Quinn dropped to one knee from the energy drain as Quinn's staff continued to fly through the air. Now, however, it was encased in ice.
Quinn was starting to feel the drain of combat, and so he ending the fight soon was ideal. If the staff managed to connect with the now weakened Phoenix...
Yule...guide my staff. Quinn said a short pray, End this fight with my staff. Give the gift you gave me your guiding time, and bring down the Construct to save Lady Lina.
