Amy chuckled and nodded. "I don't mind at all. I've worked two jobs before."
She found the coffee pot and a coffee mug. She poured the coffee into the cup and then put the cup on a saucer. She carried it over to Dougherty carefully and handed it to him.
"Here you go, Dougherty. Can you please not tell Psyzapp about this? I haven't had a chance to tell her myself. I didn't want to go into it last night, obviously, since the party was happening. And today is Sunday. Not exactly a good time to go into business talk. I just came here to get myself acclimated with my surroundings. I plan to tell her tomorrow if I can catch her."

Amy actually had to turn her head to hide the smile that formed on her lips at Showcase's obvious indignation. She couldn't stop the smile this time, so she did her best to hide it by turning her head.
When she could keep a straight face again, she turned her head back towards Showcase and nodded. "Sorry, Officer. No, I did not know that you were on duty. How about some water or tea, then?"
She walked back over to the bar but responded to Dougherty by talking over her shoulder and smiling at him in appreciation. "Thank you, Dougherty. I really appreciate that. Let me know if you need anything else."

Amy smiled softly at Showcase and nodded her head. "It's alright, Officer Showcase. I don't know how my own attitude would be if I had your job and I had to wear a party outfit instead of a uniform. It'd be very difficult to do your job that way."
She shrugged and looked up at his hat and balloon. "If it makes you feel any better, though, I don't mind the outfit. I think it looks pretty fun. Not fun when you're on duty, but at least you get to wear clothing that covers you properly. If you want to look on the upside, that could be one. If you don't, I can get you a pop. Sugar might perk you up a little bit."
