Ugh, what a nightmare. An attempting kidnapping took place just across the street from my house! That poor child. The police, an ambulance, and a fire truck were all present. Some lunatic tried to abduct his son from his ex-wife. x-x;

Ewwww.... I'm glad that it was only an attempt, and not a success.
Meri: your outfit is adorable!
I was goign to say something else but I can't remember what it was... Oh! Duh! So I just got a text message from my sister saying her next baby is a boy! But now I can't think of what to put on the baby blanket...

Before I forget, everything went well at my OB appointment yesterday. Everything still seems to be going fine with the pregnancy. Yay! ^_^ I'm actually to the point now where my next appointment is two weeks away instead of four. As Mom put it "[I'm] starting to feel like I won't actually be pregnant forever." 4laugh Meriko Jen: Ah, I see. I hope it all works out well for you. <3 And yes, certainly hoping it wasn't a drug lab! o_O Just maybe some cosmetic stuff that brings down the value of the house without making it unsafe. *nod nod* The bunny heart looks fine. :3 Can instantly tell what it is. And I'm glad Kay liked the bun. ^^ Congratulations Lupess! Enjoy that brief vacation. XD Or will you have to spend it getting ready, perhaps? Thanks, I hope it all works out too. I'm not sure for the reason of the forclosure, but it finally actually went on the market yesterday, so we've got a price and more info/details. 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 family rooms, a fireplace 2-car garage... Some of that stuff is downstairs. The basement is 90% finished according to the info we've been given. Hopefully we'll be able to actually look at the house soon.
It's been all ups and downs though. When we were first told the asking price Hubby and I were happy 'cause it was under what we'd been thinking it needed to be. Then after talking with my cousin (works at the finance company my uncle owns) I was told it was probably still more than we could afford. Now I'm waiting on a call from someone who may be able to helps us with some housing funds...
I'm glad to hear that you could tell the heart was supposed to be a bunny.
She loved it. She loves Gaia! Clear back when Gaia had had that t-shirt sale Mom and I had each bought a t-shirt... well because they were "baby tees" instead of just plain t-shirts they were too small for Mom and I, but Kay loves to wear them as night shirts! 4laugh
cardi: Happy easter to you too. <3
Sunny: That's great!
Catherine I Vercingetorix: Wow! Like Vin said at least it wasn't successful.

*Huggles Jen* Thats good to hear. At least something good to going on ;-;
I wish to formally curse Delta Airlines.
The one airline that allowed ferrets to ride in cabin as pulled it from their services...I was booked for a flight, by myself with the girls, just so I could get to Germany with them specifically. The travel agency calls us back, says kudos you have a flight booked, but you can't take your ferrets, can we book you a hotel? I was like, lol whut, no I'm canceling my ticket. Now there is officially no major airline that flies internationally that will allow ferrets to travel in-cabin.
I've heard and read so much raving about the greatness of Delta and their ferret-friendly policies. Needless to say, I'm disgustingly unimpressed.

I would think so long as they are in their cages it shouldn't matter whether they are ferrets or cats, they aren't going to be running around the cabin.

They were amazing in everything else on my Germany - US flight back, so maybe they will allow pets? I know Southwest doesnt because Vegas is a hub, and it gets too hot for pets... but they don't do international either...
*Never liked Delta after they refused let my sister down the connector thing. She ended up falling on her broken leg and was in too much pain to fly that night.*

oh Bri, im so sorry sad
im not looking forward to moving off-island (in two years) because of our dog... he's terrified of people and strange things so a flight back to the mainland is going to be bad for him.. and we cant give him any relaxers or anything *sigh* and he's too big for cabin travel.
