Remus leaned against a wall. He was fairly certain that Quinn wasn't in over his head just yet.

His eyes, which were the same color as Magnolia's brightened at the prospect, I'm afraid the honor would be all mine, my Lord. He replied.

Magnolia's mother finally noticed him and gasped, "Oh, my Lord!" She put a hand to her chest, "Pardon me." She picked up the finally unconcious Magnolia and carried her to her room. After a few moments she slipped back into the room and leaned back against the wall, looking at her husband, looking overwhelmed, "Oh Ashe....you're looking better already...!" She sounded breathy, like she was trying not to cry.

Ashe smiled at his wife, My Lady. Thank you for that. He replied with obvious affection, I think I should give myself the night of healing before I try and talk.

"Fair enough...I never understood the manners of constructs." Quinn commented, waiting and watching. He was smart in readying the Haste spell that he did, and used it when the first Phoenix shot at him. Using the extra speed, he managed to avoid the charge of the Phoenix and the oncoming feathers.

"All things answer to the glory of time, Construct." Quinn called back, "How is your Master? Constructs are hard on the Controller's body, aren't they?"

Quinn pulled his staff to him, and then spun in in a clockwise direction. Hundreds of Ice Shards shot in the direction of the three Phoenix Birds, hoping that at least some of them would connect.

"Normally we are, but seeing as Master is wounded, she wisely took the energy from elsewhere." Ciran answered, the two smaller birds circling fast to create a shield of fire, shileding the center phoeni before they weaved around the shards, one of them getting badly hit while the other having only minimal damage.

Dorien stayed by her side, having no need of sleep it was a simple matter to watch over her. You have done well Magnolia...and for that I am proud.

[lol It's excused. Honestly. We've all done something like taht in one shape or form..]

The sound of the bird chuckling was an odd one from it didn't come from the bird itself, but from around him, "Although it is not my Master that I gain my energy from, I knwo she wouldn't permit me to kill her one and only rival. She wishes to kill her herself, but you are tight, I can do so much more than this..."

The birds disappeared only to become feathers of fire, so much so that it appeared that it had become a wave, "My fire cleanses all that opposes my master and returns them to the ground. The same shall happen to her rival if I use to much of her rival's energy...the one and only Lady Lina."

Meanwhile, the Doctors were going insane as Lina collasped, her body much paler than before and yet it was burning up, "Lady Lina...hold on."

((And you seriously think that's gonna stop him? ....he'll just have to be on the bottom! *shrug* lol ))

((Wow, I'm gone for ONE day for a LAN party, and this forum, which has had be bored out of my mind because I trapped myself in cooking for who knows how long... move SIX pages in one day.... and I wasn't even invited...))

((He's new remember... that's why it's hard when you have other arrangements... but when the form doesn't move and you have nothing to do... it gets nerve racking... I know... from experience))

Jen landed, who knows where. Her wings had gotten tired from the amount of flying she had driven herself to. But in some odd way, she felt like she needed it. To clear her mind, this city was nuts in all the desaster, and you get sucked in so fast. She smiled at the thought of how it had once been, but that was then and this is now.

Bell looked around blankly noticing Troden had left, Her wings stretched out of her back, and she took flight. 'Troden... if you don't mind me asking... where are you?'
