spaceIvy shot up like a rocket when the game started, eyes narrowing in an already desperate search for the snitch. She wanted this game over and done with, dammit. Or for the weather to suddenly change. Rain, rain, rain, go the bloody hell away! Or, alternatively, let the gods smile down on them and have the snitch be easy to find. She'd take either, honestly. If nothing else, she hoped she could rely on Rhys being a bloody seeking ace and catching the thing quick-like. She'd rather be the one to catch it, but in this weather? She didn't care as long as the game was over soon.

spaceHah! Ivy let out a crow when she saw the snitch, shooting off after it like a whip. She needed this over, and now. The redhead was praying to every ancient and modern god known to man that she catch the stupid ball, and praying to the universe that one of said gods took pity on her. Then again, she could always pray to the rain gods that they just. ********. Stop. But asking them to stop doing their job seemed less useful than praying for some skill and luck on the pitch.

spaceJazzy made a quick assessment of the situation as she rose into the air, trying to decide how she wanted to play this. Going for Rhys so early seemed unfair; the guy was already having to deal with the rain, after all. Maybe she'd give him a fair shake before she started on him. It looked like he'd spotted already, but Ivy apparently had as well. She then noticed the chaser that was dogging Gid for the quaffle, and figured she may as well start with him. The brunette hunted down a bludger, took aim, and smacked it at the second year with gusto.

Glynn didn't see the bludger coming in. He was too busy focused on the pain in his finger to notice it as he had tried to grab for the quaffle. However, that was nothing when he felt the bludger slam into his shoulder. He gasped in pain, but was glad for the hit. It gave him something else to focus on, after all, and he needed to grab the quaffle from Gid. He swooped in, hands outstretched to try and steal again.

The older teen pressed forward, slowing just in time to throw the quaffle toward the goals. Maybe he'd make a nice goal. That might brighten moods of his teammates.
