Got myself a PS2 today. Now to get ahold of all the the games I missed out on. Already got Devil May Cry and I've ordered Resident Evil Code Veronica on Amazon.

Here's a list of PS2 games I want:

- Devil May Cry 2 & 3
- SNK VS Capcom 2
- Marvel VS Capcom 2
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Xenosaga
- Rogue Galaxy
- Dark Cloud
- Fatal Frame
- Metal Slug 3
- Okami (if I end up getting the Wii version, that's fine too)
- Oni (just ordered)
- Silent Hill 2
- Soul Calibur 3
- Final Fantasy X (figured I'd give the Sphere Grid system another chance)

If anybody can recommend me some PS2 games that aren't Kingdom Hearts or God of War, I'd appreciate it.

I also got my computer back (albeit with only half the RAM; turns out my problem was one of my 2GB RAM Boards went bad)

Finally, I'd like to let everyone know that I no longer hate Dead Rising. I gave it another chance and I actually quite like it now.

Persona 4. I'll also recommend Persona 3 FES, but only if you don't have a PSP. If you do, Persona 3 Portable is the better version. There are several other MegaTen games on the PS2, but I honestly haven't played most of them and wouldn't be able to recommend any specific games.

The first Fatal Frame is on your list, but Fatal Frame 2 is also pretty good. I haven't seen or played the third game, though. Going with that, you have Shadow of the Colossus on your list, but not Ico.

Also, Katamari Damacy. And it's not console exclusive, but I liked Prince of Persia: Sands of Time quite a bit.

I've been thinking of trying out the Persona games, but I wanna look more into them first. I already have the Xbox version of Fatal Frame 2. I'll see what Ico is like. Katamari Damacy I'm not sure about. Also, I've played, loved, and cherished PoP: Sands of Time (and it's sequels) in all of it's glory on the Nintendo Gamecube for 6+ years already.

Do you like dungeon-crawler-ish games? If so, Nightmare of Druaga was alright, but it was pretty hard. Also, Tekken 5 was a lot of fun if you like fighters. And though I don't normally like racing games, I loved Need for Speed - Most Wanted. And if you can find it, Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song - I promise it is not a romance at all.

I really like Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms.

It's a bit like Gauntlet Legends, but it has a more RPG Leveling style to it. It's also kind of boring alone, and I'm not sure how the online community is. Last I checked, it wasn't too active. Maybe, ten people or so. I don't think it was that popular of a game.

I mean, if I never rented out since they didn't actually have Gauntlet Legends SS, I would probably have never bothered with it ever. Glad I did though.

Plot/Story is alright too, stale after the first few times, regardless of alignment.

It was well worth it.

You forgot the second Dark Cloud. I actually liked it more, because the crafting was fun and the story was a lot deeper and more involved.

The Sly games are pretty good. And Frequency is an okay game. I only have a few PS2 games, so I can't help much. xD Okami will definitely be better on the Wii, by the way.

Speaking of, Ico and Shadow of the colosus are both fantastic. Ico won't give you much action per se, but its a great, thoughtful game that has really deep story elements to it, in addition to being a lot of fun.

Well...

I have reached a level of sadness that I previously thought was not re-obtainable.
