Taylor: Kari pretty much nailed it. Your desktop sounds like it's ready for the junk heap anyway. Go ahead and put it on a laptop. At the very worst, it'll take a while to start up and to process fancy effects. But I've run photoshop on a multitude of hardware without any problems. IIRC I ran it on my old laptop - 1.6GHz single core processor, 768MB RAM. And that laptop is.. I dunno, like 4 years old? You'll do fine. 3nodding

I have a pretty crappy laptop, and it runs Photoshop well enough for most things. Using the Liquify filter takes forever, but other than that it's fine.

@ Lucca: I'm so sorry this is late and will probably make you even more upset, but I'm sorry about Nakoma...I know how it feels to lose a pet... ;~;
@ Everyone: Thanks for being supportive of me, even though I'm not as active as I could be...I really appreciate your concern. I'm feeling better about losing my uncle, but it's gonna be a long road...I'm singing a song for the school talent show to help pay tribute to him... I'm Irish.

It's okay, Lupess - not much can destroy my amazing mood right now. I just adopted three new kitties that really needed a home, and they're total sweethearts - Addie, Brady, and Boots, two brothers and a sister who needed a home together. We fell in love with them at the shelter and they are ADORABLE. Addie's a gorgeous tortie with white paws and a little white ring around the end of her tail, Brady is white with black spots and he has the cutest ears (black at the bottom and white at the top), and Boots (shyer than the other two) has a neat little black and white tuxedo.
I am so so so so so happy.

They're actually not kittens, they're adult cats - we didn't want to deal with kittens, and besides, a trio of kittens was much more likely to find a home together than a trio of cats.
Boots was a total sweetheart this morning. I sat with him for a long time just petting him and petting him.

I cleaned my room! XD I am teh happy.
Thanks for your input everyone. ^_^ Now I need to get the program. Dad said he'd buy it for me if I kept my room cleaned...not sure for how long but I'll do my best. ^_~ I want to make my pictures look pretty without a bunch of hassle. *glares at GIMP*

We ended up claiming a stray cat a few years ago. He showed up while we were having a garage sale and never left.
He also has a thing for the color orange. He'll roll on anything that's orange.
He later brought his little family around.
We named him Mooch since that's what he does. >->
Poor guy is always scarred up though...he gets into fights with other strays in the area.

I've been playing Odin Sphere on a friend's game system, and I fell in LOVE with Odette's character design. Can you guys help me tek-tek something? My apologies for such a HUGE picture. There wasn't anything smaller that I could find. Squee! Odetta-sama!! :'3! I loooooove Odin Sphere, one of the most beautiful games I've ever laid eyes on =w= <3 Then again anything that Vanillawear does is beautiful in my eyes. As for a Gaia outfit..woo, that's a toughy. But Nami there seems to have a nice start <3

Meriko Maybe you could add a Lunar Cloak to get that big crescent moon behind her. :3 And an alternate gold headdress is the Gift of the Goddess Monkey King's Circlet. I think the only lanterns are the Gogh Reed and Dreamer's Dust. We need more. '^' *eee* Sunny, you're adorable. XD That outfit is lovely. The colors are so rich~ Yes yes, we totally need more lanterns 8D! And we need a giant medical syringe and other medical goodies to polish off the nurse outfits @0@!! <3 lol XD
