Matachi picks her up then hugging her just as he hears that "No I am not" he says calmly to her as he carries her to the Kitchen whipping her tears away with his thumb smiling at her "Do not cry." he says gently patting her back as they enter the kitchen

Dialh had a plate already set out for the girl she stod when Matachi entered with her a bowed slightly to him. "I thought that this would be the best if the girl has not ate in a long time."
Katherine noded some she didn't smile. "LIsten though if I don't make it through what is going on.. If things end badly.. My heir is a boy Demitri is to be his protector until Hector is of age. You will watch them for me ..if.." Katherine didn't finsh what she was going to say she was being serious though.

The young girl took a few deep breaths and entered the kitchen with him. Upon seeing the plate of food, the young girl shot at it like a bolt of lightning and start chowing down, almost like a wild animal. Although she had manners, she was too hungry for them to matter.

Paradox noted what she told him warily. He shook his head. "You have been very kind to an old monster like me, Katherine." If the worst happens, I will stay until I deem your heir fit to hold the throne on his own. That is all I can promise you." The general said seriously himself. He had been treated much better since joining Llyr's armed forces, but he would eventually have to leave like always. Here he wasn't shunned as a monster, and people actually respected him. He turned away from Katherine. She had to do her duty to the end, and he had to do his.

Matachi laughed as he approached the girl "Whoa whoa slow down" He said grabbing her hand "You'll choke." he said smiling as he looks at the lady releasing the girls hand letting her know to eat abit slower "I'm sorry I have not seen you before." He says feeling stupid.

"You must forgive me then Lord Matachi it is a honor to meet you, I am Lady Dialh Brightblade." She turned to find Katherine walking into the room she bowed again upon seeing her. Katherine went forward towards the girl with a bright smile. "After you are done the lady Dialh will take you to get clean and get you something nice to put on. Don't worry little one no one will hurt you here. Thats a promise." She said with a bright smile as she looked to Dialh who noded with a bright smile. Katherine turned to Matachi. "I must get some sleep see you in the morning."

The girl almost pouted when Matachi stopped her. Though she only slowed a little when he let go off her. By the time Katherine had come in, she had cleaned off her entire plate. In a little better mood, she looked up to Katherine and nodded before she left. Then she looked over Matachi as if to ask 'what next'?

Matachi nods to what Katherine says "Ill be there soon babe" Matachi laughs bringing a small bowl of spaghetti with the reddest sauce that she could possibly ever seen "Try it Its my favorite." he says smiling at the girl taking a seat

She blinked at the bowl of pasta for a second. Picking up the fork, she moved upon the pasta and devoured it right before his eyes. After she finished, she sat back in the chair, burped and gave a cute little giggle. "I'm all full." She told him before looking at him again. The most surprising thing was how they hadn't asked her name once while she was there.

There was a 'finally' in her head when he asked and she looked up at him. Her brown hues looked at him and a smile lit up her face. "I'm Matilda." She said almost happily. "May I ask you something?" She did ask, waiting on him for a few moments.

"I'm... I'm afraid to sleep alone. Can I... maybe... sleep with you and that nice lady tonight?" She asked, hoping to get an acceptance. "It... it... would be like... with my... mommy and daddy." She said, her voice starting to sound a little upset again.

Jumping off the seat, she grabbed on to her bear again with one arm and looked up to him. Though she was still wearing the tattered rags that she came up with, she would probably wash up tomorrow. Willingly enough, she would take his hand and let him lead her there.
