Mike, who missed Mitsu terribly, decided to call her up on his Pokenav, he told eveyone he had some things to attend to in Rock Tunnel, and dialed the number as he and his Pokemon walked off.

"Yeah!" He shouted as he made a dash for Rock Tunnel. Nitro, feeling bold with his new transformation, ran in front of him, Shiver clamped into his tail.
"Let's go get a new friend guys..." Mike said with a smirk as he picked up speed.

Hearing a boy shout she assumed it was Mike. "Hey Mike!" She said, extremely happy. "I'm fine, how about you?" she inquired "You sound a bit winded and your Charmander's voice sounds deeper? Are you sick??

Kilik shrugged. "To each her own, I guess." He thought for a second, trying hopelessly to spark a conversation, "Have any other Pokemon?" he asked.

"Hey, where are you....what....Mike...?" Kasiya watched him dash off, her face full of confusion. She looked at Pikachu and sighed. "Remind me to get you to shock him next time we see him," she said, bending down to pat Growly again. He still acted somewhat afraid, but was less so.

"Oh, I gave Charmander a new nickname, Nitro. On top of that, he evolved into a Charmeleon!" He said with a big grin, still amazed at how cool his Pokemon had become.
Shiver clamped down on Nitro's tail, almost slipping off because of the jerky tail swishing.

"Wow! No way! Nitro evolved!" Mitsu said with amazement in her voice. "I won my first trainer battle yesterday with Ralts and Ghastly and I just caught a Magicarp about twenty minutes ago." she said equally excited.

"You won your first trainer battle? Awesome! I just got into the Rock Tunnel by Lavender and I'm going to try to catch an Onix. I really want one..." Mike said as he entered the dark damp cave to Cerulean, no longer scared.
Nitro grabbed his tail and placed it in front of him, lighting the path. He then noticed the Shellder clamped on his tail. He laughed and continues to walk, hoping for another fight.

"Wow an Onix! I heard that those are really strong Pokemon, but they aren't found in Hoenn. When you capture one I want to see it." she said still happy to be hearing from an old friend.
She walke and taked and soon ended up in Petalburg Woods.

"Yeah, it will be awesome, I can't wait unti-" At that moment, a loud tremor struck Rock Tunnel as Mike and co fell over. At that moment, a rocky explosion came from the adjacent wall.  Wild Onix appeared Level 16 Moves - Tackle, Screech, Bind, Rock Throw "Holy crap! It's huge!" Mike exclaimed. The Onix had to be at least 35 feet long, a massive beast.
Nitro and Shiver both prepped for battle, but Mike sent in Shiver.
