Gripe gripe gripe. Ive yet to see proof that Kir Kanos can take down Boba Fett. As to blasters and ships, those are much rarer than their blades.

Maybe not Boba, but it would certainly be a fight, but Kanos was not an Echani master, he was merely a very good fighter with what they taught him, and they did not teach all of them. Standard Mando's however would very much die against a good Echani fighter.

And all the Mando'ade youve been butchering in the RP are just redshirt npcs against a PC Echani warrior. thats just murder. What we need is to put a standard Mando'ade against a standard Echani. I'd recomend a colluseum match if it werent for the favoratism of the majority of guild members towards the more familiar Mando'ade. The results would be unsatisfactory.

Very true. And it would largely depend on the geography etc. of the fight. It would sort of be like pitting a combat Android against a Pred. (AVP2) and seeing what happened. They would be largely equally matched. And yes, the redshirts I've been slaughtering are fighting a true Echani master that once killed a Sovereign Protector in a one on one in under two minutes, so yes they drop like flies.

If only we could find a way to have two equally skilled combatants from both cultures do battle in conditions favoring neither side. Nonetheless, its in my opinion that the "Rivalry" between the two is largely something imagined by the Echani.

Well, how do you know the two didn't fight some huge battle etc. It's never explained canonically, so it could just as easily be a genuine rivalry as an echani imagined thing...

There was a rivalry about 3000 years ago, at least KOTOR seems to suggest so. but as of now (The movies) the Mando'ade culture doesn't seem to acknowledge any rivalry with the Echani, just one more annoyance in a galaxy of annoyances.

Well, the Mando'ade culture has been presented in one man, that being the extent to which we observe it, and again, there could be a resolution, it just simply isn't explained Canonically...

The lady behind the recent spike in Mando'ade intrest. She wrote the articles about the Mando'ade in the Star Wars Insider and is currently attempting to make Mando'a a language of its own.

Well, you'd have to talk to other people than just her, namely because she is merely one source on the Mando's. You'd also have to find an equal source on the Echani...
