Rosey stood with her arms crossed and a little glare directed at a certain someone. She had just opened her door to find one Rennell staring at her with a big silly grin on his face. He kept saying 'whee' in a pattern which she could only guess meant he was playing with his eye. The zoom feature to be specific, zooming in on her face. And when he zoomed she reached out and stuck a hand right in front of his eye. "Morning to you too."

Her hands were at her arms hugging herself again, though she did offer a small smile to him as she shook her head. "I do not like thinking of that as a camera, even with it's zoom feature which you seem to be having fun with." Another shake of her head, "You are easily amused. Guess I am glad you are not stopped by the operation though. Have you left my door since last night?" He was there when she closed it and there when she opened it, she had to wonder.

"Oh come on now. With such a pretty face in front of me why use my new zoom feature elsewhere?" Ah yes, Rennell Cryix, the skirt chaser. He was indeed was quite the flirtatious one. "But fine, I won't use the 'c word' around you anymore. I'll just stare." He laughed and reached a hand out, ruffling her hair. "Of course I left Rose bud, had to eat you know." He pulled her over and out of her doorway and into a one armed hug. "Bouncy as ever aren't I? And you, how you doing?"

She blinked and looked away a moment, taking to thinking once more. Hm, he offered up several good suggestions all at once didn't he? Jelena just seemed to have trouble grasping this concept of no work.

"...you know, I haven't been to a movie in..." brief counting in her head, "a good seven years now." Yes, it had been indeed that long since she went out and saw a movie...or done anything remotely sociable. Between her degree earning, and Project Echo...she just preferred to knock her studies and work out before fun.


Ren pouted lightly as he was pushed away, but didn't take offense to it. He knew Rosey would only take so much of his habitual personal space invasion before she just won't put up with it anymore. Seemed she reached that point early today. Though his happy died a few levels as she mentioned how she was and he got concerned.

First action? He put a hand up to her forehead, feeling her body temperature...but of course with anyone in Metamorphosis...body temperature could mean squat. "What, you didn't sleep well? You feeling sick Rose bud?"

Okay, more concern, more happy dying. What could he say, when it came to Rosey, he could set aside his crazy side and be serious in a spit seconds time. "Maybe we should make a trip down to Ingenuity to get you looked at. I won't let them poke at you too much." And you knew he was really concerned when he mentioned actually going to get things checked out.

Idly, his eye was scanning her over, picking up sound waves from her breathing, even sensitive enough now to detect the faint waves of her pulse and heartbeat...well the sounds looked okay to him. But he was no doctor either. But they were steady in their patterns.

"It's the classic first date, isn't it?" How nostalgic was that? Though she gave him a skeptical look that faded into one of 'you've got to be kidding'. "Nothing particular in mind, as I said, I haven't even thought about movies in seven years. But for the love of my sanity, please please don't get Joey involved. Next thing you know everyone and their brother will be joining us to see if we're really dating or just pretending. I don't need that kind of stress...espcially on my day off." Just to use the two new applied words to her life.

He wasn't letting it drop as easily. "That's the problem...you don't mention things when you need to Rose bud. Even little things can be a big problem eventually. And you being cold so much can make you sick. And there's not a more depressing sight than a sicky sick Rosey buddy." Well that was sickeningly cute, wasn't it?

Though he sighed and allowed it to drop some, deciding not to push thte isue. Besides, if she got bad enough, well he would jsut heft her over his shoulder and carry her to Ingenuity, kicking and screaming and clawing if he had to.

Rennell shrugged. "You're asking me if I had a plan? Since when do I have plans?"

"Somewhere?" Really, she didn't know. Used to have a little pocket radio...but that was lost in the chaos. Hm...needed to find it and velcro it to her desk. Yes, that will solve that little problem. It wouldn't be going anywhere. She also knew there was an intercom system in her room...but she had rather taken it apart and never put it back together. Note the exposed wiring on her wall.

"Do you him for all of your scheming James? For one who doesn't like his disposition you surly like to mess with him and cross paths with him a lot. I think you secretly do like him. How sweet is that." Though she shook her head and laughed slightly. "Well, you can't do it to him fairly if he didn't do it to me first. Besides, aren't I the one who's supposed to be giving the lesson to him?"
