"I think you're the one who embarrassed her more, Anekio!" At least she didn't smack me upside the head again. Yuhi thought, then sent his brother a wink. Hehe, looks like he wants to kill me.
Kei sent his brother a glare. I'm going to kill him when we get home, I swear it! "What kind of mission are you going on? Does it have something to do with the attack earlier?"

((Doesnt only Kai and Mai-Lin know that Ran checked herself out of the hospitol?))
Ran blinked wearily as Kai and Mai-lin both headed off. It wasn't like she minded, anyways. She gave a sneeze, before getting up and
switching off the fan in the kitchen. Since it was a bit darker, it was a bit cooler...
Turning on the kitchen light, but turning off the livingroom/bedroom one, she stretched out on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She wasn't going to go to sleep... just relax.

Mai-lin opened the door to the small appartment. "Hey Ran. Our sensei is her. She wants to talk to us." She called out.

Ran's eyes flitted open... somehow, she'd let them close. Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes. "Sensei...?" She asked. "What does she want to talk about?" she then asked, leaning over and flipping the lightswitch that was by the bed. She blinked as her eyes adjusted more to the light.

((Yeah, but Mai-lin wasn't in the hospital so they could be checking there first before going there, though they'll find out now that Ran is back 'home'))
At the sound of a loud screech, Tori woke up. When she heard the screech again, she got up and quickly went up to the top floor. "What is it Fuki, did you find something?" the bird stuck out one of her legs, revealing a small message scroll tied to it. Tori frowned as she untied the unmarked scroll and read it.
You tell your friend that when you're spying on someone you're not supposed to allow yourself to be seen by the enemy. Also tell him to keep his nose in his own business or I'll cut it off before slicing him to pieces.
Tori knew who the letter was from...she just didn't know who Takeshi was talking about. "One of my friends is in danger and I don't even know which one. This is just great, and right before a mission too!" she sighed and pet Fuki on the head. "Nice job. Did you see or find anyone else while you were out?" Fuki chirped before flying up to her nest to sleep. "Near the boarder, huh?" with another sigh, Tori went back down to her room and to sleep.

"So? I'm allowed to." Anekio smiled. "Yeah it is from that attack. We don't know how long we'll be gone, but it's mainly to find the guy and bring him back or to get information." She sighed.
Looking over a Ran she muttered an apology. "Did we wake you?"

"Nope... wasn't planning on falling asleep, just yet, anyways. It was just a catnap." Ran murmered, looking over to Anekio and giving a small smile to show that it was okay.
"I don't know anything about that guy, or where he'd've gone." she then said, listening to what her sensei was here to talk about.

"So if you're going to be gone we aren't going to start our training for awhile, then?" The girl bit her lip suddenly she smiled. "Hey, you can take us with, Sensei!" She said.

Anekio smiled at Ran for a moment. "We thought he might've been heading for the Mist or something. Did you know of anything like that when you were still stationed there?"
She then looked over at Mai-Lin and scratched her head for a moment, "W-well, erm...Yuhi maybe you should take that one."

Yuhi turned his attention back to his brothers 'girlfriend' and shook his head. "I'm sorry, Mai-lin, but this is an A Rank mission we're going on. Technically, you shouldn't even know about it. Although, if you could remember anything about what happened that could possibly lead us in the right direction, we'd love to hear it."
Kei made a face. How is it that he's going on an A Rank mission? Only Jounin are allowed to go one those...

Anekio smiled and nodded her head. "Do any of you remember even the smallest detail, since I arrived a little late." She scratched the back of her head for another moment, sighing quietly.

"Why do you go talk with my father or try to find the ANBU who were going over the scene? They might have an idea of where the men came from or know something else that could help you." Kei said, partly wishing he'd been there during the fight...mostly to test his own abilities.
