"Alright!"

"Just sign here."

Reiko signed the paper and pounded his right fist into the palm of his left. Rose looked at Reiko and shook her head.

"Why do you need me to accompany you in all of these places? Just to fight another professional championship match? What happened to that un--"

"That place was full of weak people. Just a gathering place for big criminal types to make more money easily than in the pro-world."

Reiko and Rose exited and headed towards a commercial park.

"So what are you going to do now? Train?"

"It's the day after tomorrow!"

"So?"

"Psha.... you don't get it, but that's okay.."

The engine of the small motorbike revved again and the wheels spun beneath it, jerking into sudden motion and accelerating quickly. It bore down upon the blue-haired elemental without any deviation... just like in the movies, where the mysterious stranger and the hero of the story would have their first meeting, with a motorcycle bearing down upon the other until it veered away at the last moment and skidded to a stop dramatically...

...only this motorbike didn't veer, nor did it skid dramatically to a stop. About one hundred feet away the gas was let off, and it coasted closer for the next fifty feet, where the brake was applied and the black-clad, oh-so-mysterious stereotypical dark horse character rider came to a stop upon his vehicle a good ten feet in front of the Leviathan.

"...yo~!"

The rider shouted, having to raise his voice above the sounds of the noisy engine, and he raised a hand in a half-wave to the other after putting his feet down to the ground on either side of the bike.

Vnn vnn vnn vnn...

(( IM me when you get on or something, because I don't know if I'll check the thread tonight otherwise. >< ))

*Enki... just... kinda looks at the man a little oddly and half-waves back, replying with a simple*

Alexiel had made her was to Latent after her meeting with Night and now she was wandering through the Traders Inn. Though the place was known to house a rough crowd, Alex wasn't worried, she could handle herself and she wanted to see what was to be found on the market.

The women and slaves were of no interest to her, however, rare animals and artifacts were. She was interested in starting a business as a beastmaster, perhaps start a petshop or something. However, nothing so far had caught her eye.

"What do you think Daemon? Anything here interest you, besides the shiney baubles?"

Tellus watched as a man pulled up to her father and something about the man caught her eye. Where was it that she had seen his face before. For the moment, she let it slide as she watched the two men, taking another step forward but still not interrupting him, but catious with the nagamaki at her side, wanting to see if he was a danger to her papa or not. Not that Enki couldn't take care of himself but rather safe then sorry. Tellus was finally happy, she wasn't going to lose it now.

A small figure, cloaked in a dirty old cape, hovered near one of the stalls, her hand seeming to reach for an apple. A small band of beads on her wrist glinted in the daylight, catching the rays and sparkling a rainbow across the stand right before the stall keeper smashed a wooden spoon against the hand.

"Ack...no touching unless you can buyen..." The plump arms crossing as she glared at the tiny creature. "That bracelet there, maybe" The arm quickly retreating to protect the bracelet against it's chest.

"N...no...just food, please.."

At exact moment that the figure had been berated by the shop keeper, Alexiel had been passing by and she stopped. Well now, that wasn't very nice. With a huff, she promptly turned to look at the shop keeper "You ever heard of a thing called Karma, mam?" She didn't even wait for the shop keeper to reply as she continued, "Karma basically means that if you did good deeds, good things will come back to you. If you do bad deeds, bad things will come back to you... So why don't you do a good deed and give away one measely apple?" It was an offer for the shop keeper to do something good, if the shop keeper refused... well, Alex would merely buy apple.

THe woman looked at the other with a huff. "He was going to steal it...he was" She glared at the cloaked figure and glared again. "Karma nothing....I have a bed to pay for and sweets to sell. If he wants one...he can earn it, like anyone here." Ignoring the snicker from behind her skirt from a person who obviously knew that nothing was ever 'earned' here.

At Alexiel's word showever, the small hand had reached for the apple hopefully. But as the woan spoke to the petite figure, it began to dart back, but this was not good enough for the other woman and she threw up a meaty arm to swing at the figure, colliding with it's face and throwing her through the air like so much rubbish. The being's arm came up at just that moment with a small packet in hand that it threw into the merchant's face even as it flew through the air to land against a post.

The merchant fell to the ground and began convulsing as she screamed, quickly gathering the attention of the other 'merchants'.

"No papa....cerlyn a good girl...don't put me in the closet with the dogs....NO papa..."

O_O <-- That was Alexiel's face as she watched what happened. Once the crowd had gathered, Alex felt it best to leave and did so. She moved towards the little figure that had been knocked into a nearby post and knealt to check on the figure. "You alright?" Friendly though her tone was, she was being cautious as this person obviously had some dangerous tricks up their sleeve.

A small pined gutteral noise made it's way out of the tiny figures throat but with Alexiel's help she stoo uncertainily, making not a threat towards the woman. But when they touched, if Alexiel had any empath abilities, she wouldn't be able to read her mind whatsoever but would sense something resembling a great void that was at once both awesome, fearsone and yet soothing and peaceful...A blink of a eye and that glimpse into a dream world was forgotten.

"We...leave..."

Alex was shocked. She didn't generally go around picking thoughts from people's heads, she felt it was an invastion of privacy. Though, on occaision, the trick was a handy one. However, when she touched the girl to help her up, Alex was hit with the odd trip into the girl's mind.

Alexiel shook her head to clear it and didn't protest as the girl voiced the desire to leave, she decided to follow behind her. Daemon rested idly on his companion's shoulder and to occupy herself, Alex stroked his chest plumes. "Lead the way..."

The girl, it was now obviouslyso, led the other woman quickly away from the crowds, but not before snatching a few apples. She would have paid for them but her hunger drove her at the moment. A few streets away from the crowd, she ducked into an alley and hunkered down, quickly gnawing on the apple like a small ravenous animal.

Alex watched the girl, one eyebrow raised. "You're really hungry aren't you?" As she spoke, she squatted down, Daemon fluttering his wings in irritation as the movement disturbed him

Meryl tossed her carefully washed hair, feeling it bounce as she walked out of the bathroom, the steam following her fluffing around the doorframe as the door swung shut behind her.

Her voloptious body was neatly clad in a fluffy white towel, the fold tucked in just to the left of her heaving breasts as she let out a small sigh, loooking over the equipment she'd left strewn over her bed.

Before you can play, you have to clean up... She thought to herself. She didn't want some maid or bellboy walking into her hotel room to find two tonfas, several lines of throwing knives, the occasional heavy-calibre handgun, a sawn-off shotgun and a singing katana sitting about on her duvet. Not to mention the body armour so coveted so much.

She'd just spent an hour greasing, cleaning and reloading every weapon, before cleaning and polishing her armour. Her cat-burgler gear, cloak, neoprene/aramid fatigues and business suit had all been sent down the laundry chute in a small bag with her room number on it. They would be returned tomorrow, which was fine by her.

Bundling all her gear into their appropriate bags or suitcases, Meryl stretched her arms hard above her head, her towel unwrapping and falling to the floor, leaving her stark naked within the room. Lowering her arms with a sigh, she swiped her nose with her thumb and walked to the closet.

Then there was a knock on the door. "Room service, Miss Tomorrow."

"Be right there." Meryl replied, pulling one of the hotel gowns from the closet and pulling it on, the thick gown warm on her tanned, scarred skin as she walked to the door and opened it, smiling at the waiter holding her plate of food, the small tray behind him almost empty of other hotel guest's requests.

"There you are madam - two cheeseburgers from the Burger King down the street, and a bottle of Chateu De Plonk 1431."

"Cheers Alfred..." Meryl said with glee as she took the tray from him and tossed five gold coins into his hand - two more then needed. "...Take it easy, neh?"

The door shut, the teen laughing as she almost ran to the bed and, placing the tray down to the side, collapsed onto it, grabbing the remote control from the bedside table and flicked on the TV.

Time for some peaceful R&R...maybe even watch a skin-flick later on, if she was in the mood after the bottle of red...

Enki Leviathan
Yes?

"Busy?" the man shouted again, barely audible over the noisy sound of the sputtering moped engine, but short and clear enough so that none of the intricacies of his eloquent statement would be lost in translation...

The man leaned back on the bike seat; heels digging into the ground to either side of it, and still holding onto the handlebars as a means of keeping his posture. Like that he sat for another few moments, simply staring down the Leviathan from behind that stupid pair of shaded goggles with an equally stupid grin upon his face. Eventually, when Enki began to reply, he cut off the engine halfway through the blue-haired man's statement; leaving an empty silence where it had been so noisy before.

"...I hear you've been looking for me?"

He grinned lightheartedly at John.

"Nope, everything we should require will be on the trail."

Hogosha No Juunikyuu
Stealthy. Stealthy. Juuni was sure she could do stealthy... Even though she had no idea what that meant! The small cat girl was still sat a top John's shoulder but wriggled about uncomfortably to be let down, her small kitty shaped back pack jiggling along with her as she mewed.

"Okay!" she said with a salute to Mere.

This was just another game to the Neko. But the Senshi kept watch over her carefully, keeping one eye on Mere suspiciously.

Henry seriously gave a small salut back in acknowledgement before sweeping off, out of the shop, and towards one of the gates that led out of the city and towards the Dead Forest. He kept the pace pretty steady, something that would find a happy medium of comfort for all the members of this little party.

Somewhere along the way, the others may notice that he actually had managed to aquire a pack of his own. It seemed pretty large, a square that took up a good portion of his back. The contents of which were just as much a mystery as the man himself. His voice carried to Tomorrow as they walked.

"If you have questions, Mr. Tomorrow, feel free to ask at any time, and I'll answer as best I can. Bear in mind that I may gloss over a few things, however..."

"So how is she?"

"Stable... it's really the best we could hope for, considering the circumstances."

"Circumstances?"

"Well.. it's too early to tell now... but we've sent for a more qualified physician."

"Alright... is it ok if I go in?"

"Sure."

The door opened, as the knob was twisted, allowing a slim, yet busty figure to enter, her eyes going over the contents of the room. She seemed to pause, a finger tapping against her chin, as if considering at the last minute, but merely shook it off.

She entered the rest of the way into the room, and shut the simple door behind her. A distinct marking under her right eye, gave her identity away immediatly: Mitsuyo. The room itself was simple in furnishing-- just one of the many bedrooms located in a house belonging to one Vahn Kyonuske, within the merchant town of Latent.

Her reason for coming in? Laying upon the bed, was a woman whose crimson hair flowed down to nearly her own stomach, and with pale flesh, Bandages swathed and wrapped her more delicate features, for she lay nude upon the bed, clothed only with a light linen, allowing the numerous iv's and resipartory system to stay connected to her body unecumbered.

The steady beeps from the machine told Mitsuyo that the women was indeed in stable condition, and for the better part; alive.

"We've lost so much... and Silver still hasn't come back. I'm starting to wonder... if Vahn really did die."
