Mwali smirked a bit to help encourage the poor cheetah that he'd be fine as she questioned his condition. He opened his mouth to speak but in an instant she was off again. He could smell the worry from her and hear it in her voice. His ears pressed back against his mane with a small stab at guilt. It was foolish to feel guilty over such things but they were worried about him and he felt simply terrible that he had caused them such worry. It was a stupid mistake, you know..., he scolded himself- rolling himself so his head was laying against a paw and his eyes parted just a bit to watch the others that had gathered around, They all worry for you... selfish red log. Just how are you to repay all this? Can't hunt, can't protect. He chuckled, answering himself quite simply, I can learn.

Wokovu blinked, ears swivling to the noises while he scarfed down some more food. He felt about bloated now.. and backed off from the kill, licking his chops. Cocking his head to the side eyes narrowing on the grass.. Something was there right? He focused trynig to keen his instincts.. He just hoped it wasn't one of the bad things his mom talked abotu so much..

*Agenti slowly slipt his muzzle through the tall grass, peering thorugh it at the carcus and the creatures around it. He stays low to the ground so as to not be sceen. His lavender orbs gazing heatidly at the carcus in hunger. Ears swivle forward to try to catch the conversation between the buzzard and younge lion*

[xD Selfish red log, ugh, Thal your are very amusing, my good man~]
Of course, the poor cheetah was just over reacting to the hurt lion and readying to disembowl the herd of stupid zebra. No finding herbs is more important.. The loss of three of her own had took a toll on motherly instincts. The logical side of her knew that the grown, strong lion would be fine while the other side other moherly side of her was raging in all different emotional directions.
"Need to find..those herbs..."
Teule paused as he listened to Jasi, giving her his full atttention. Stupid animals. He hadn't knwn they were that dangerous. He nodded gratefully to Jasiri, giving her a soft smile of relief. Nothing serious, he'll be fine. Hopefully. He watched Taka trot off warily, eyeing the Queen as she left. He knew the irrational feline probably blamed her for Mwali's injury.
"Mwali, you feeling any better. Taka is the best hunter in the world, I'm sure she'll be back and you'll be better in no time..."

Sarabi sighed as the sound of soft paws brought her out of her doze. The sun had baked out most of her pain and she cracked one eye to gaze sternly at the young male. "Did you need something, Sukutu?" Her tail flicked back and forth over the rock as she rolled up to lay on her stomach, fore feet stretched out in front of her. She watched the nervous juvenile intently through crimson eyes.

Sukutu could only gulp, his ears flattening against his head as he made a circle in the dirt with his paw nervously, an apoligetic look on his face as he began to speak. "Your majesty I have a reason for running of...you see...there...well..." What if she didn't believe him? What if he ended out of the pride for no reason, his eye's grew wider in fear of this and he tried to speak, fortunatly finding the words. "There was a rogue lion nearby!!"

Sarabi raised on eyebrow and continued to stare at Sukutu. It seemed to make him nervous, which would help drive home his lesson. "And?" She purred. "Is that everything? Your only reason?" Her voice was silky and she turned her head to watch him from the corner of her eye.

Mwali smiled a bit, turning his head so he could look to the little white cub. His vision was still blurred slightly... that same fuzz forming around the shapes he saw but for the moment he'd remain silent on his condition, "Is she now? Well then I feel better all ready." He smiled again and reached his good paw over to scoop the little cub up into it, tossing him in the air and catching him softly on velveted paws- one front leg and two hind ones. He laughed, knowing full well that the cubs were probibly annoied with this little game of his but he loved it- for a split second they'd flail at the air and look just so scared but when he caught them it was almost like all that was gone and they looked very nearly embarassed.

The juvenille lowered his body to the ground slightly, becoming mroe tense as his tail started to twitch from side to side, unknowing that his voice became shakey at the stare from the calm sounding queen. "I-I thought he was dangerous...and I-I-I didn't w-want anyone to get hurt...a-and with you and your hrut paw...I...I just didn't want to upset the pride if you or any of the new comers got hurt and I did nothing to help or pr-protect you ma'am..." His pale violet eye's where full of nervousness and fear, he didn't know what the queen would do now, would she accpet his story? Or would it just get worse for him.

Jasiri was quite tempted to join the fun and jump in with Teule and Mwali, but her could see the struggling Sukutu in the corner, still trying to come up with an excuse to tell the queen. She made her way over slowly and stoped next to Sukutu, grining, and when the queen wanst looking, she winked. "Excuse me your highness, but it is not Sukutu's falt for leaving you. I was suspicios of the rouge, and with Mwali hurt, I didnt want any more trouble. So I asked Sukutu to check it out. Im dreadfully sorry your highness." She said with a sweet smile and a casual look in her eyes.

Sarabi still seemed calm as she spoke, but there was steel in everthing about her. "I see you both thought the rogue was a threat. Did you stop to think that if he was so dangerous, he might over power Sukutu and kill him?" She turned both eyes on the two juveniles. "A juvenile male, no matter how brave, would stand little chance against a full grown rogue male, if he was intent on harm. We would have lost you, Sukutu, and the rogue would have been loose in the area while no one knew he was there. I was alone with a fresh kill, the blood an obvious attraction for hungry predators, and Koho was ladened down with Mwali, who could not have helped her." She rose slowly and looked them both sternly in the eyes. "When a rogue Lion is spotted, no one is to ever go to meet him or her alone. They are to report to the king, Koho, or myself immediately. If you are afraid of the rogue wandering loose, set a scout. Do you two understand?" Her tail lashed angrily and her eyes were hard.

"Oh yea, she's the absolute best.."
Teule nodded encouragingly, barely getting a grin on his face before he was scooped up and thrown into the air. His eyes went wide and his mouth went into a little 'o' shape before he dropped back down with a little laugh, a blush iminent on his colorless cheeks. He was careless in what others thought of him and let himself enjoy being airborn for the moment. Teule tried to control himself up the air and to land away from Mwali's limbs that were doing the tossing but it proved useless. So the cub just laughed though worry clouded his fun slightly.
Taka was ona roll, she had most of the plants and roots in her mouth, only in need of one more. An Ausi root. This was the main ingredient in her little mix. Finally, she spotted it. The blasted plant was in the middle of the watering hole. That's why she had been feeling a certain dread when she thought of finding it. Growling, the cheetah plopped her rear at the edge of the waterhole, seeing if there was any way she could get it without getting wet. Seething, the schemeing cheetah thought to herself.
"There has to be another way.."

Sukutu's pale violet eye's widened and he lowered himself more, he then pondered a moment before a heavy sigh escaped his lips and he nodded softly before speaking loud enough that the queen could actualy here him. "Yes your highness..." He then gave a sort of annoyed look to Jasiri, here he was trying to tell the truth and she acted like he was making it up! Hmmph...some friend she was. At this moment, his tail was tightly curled inbetween his legs and his ears where as flat as they could be against his skull and undeveloped dark beige mane. He knew she wouldn't believe him, even if he did tell the truth, what was the point? He was going to get kicked out anyway.

((Well, since I've yet to find a good rejumping in spot, I guess another uneventful post from me. Sorry guys ;-; I love Muffy to death, but maybe I should give him up to someone who's a better rper then me...))
-The large golden figure trudged slowly across the grasses, eyes on the watering hole in the near distance. The smell of recent death was in the air.. A hunt perhaps? If so he'd have to praise the lioness' for it, and check on the progress, but for now his throat screamed to be soothed, hot and scratchy from the long and hard pace he'd kept to get himself home.
Watching the other animals scattered randomly around their large oasis, Mufasa's paws touched the shore, and after another short moment of consideration he dipped his muzzle down near the warm water, lapping it slowly up, enjoying each soothing drink.-

Mwali smiled up to the cub as he caught him in his velveted paws once again. He didn't want the poor thing to be worried for him- a cub didn't deserve to be weighed down with such things. For his sake and partly for his own sake he'd keep to his nature dispite the injury to his body. He wished if anything to get up and help the others find what they were looking for- the poor cheetah was filled wish such panic at seeing him- she had run off before he could answer her question concerning his condition. Koho had run off for something... probibly the leaves that she had mentioned to cover the open wounds on his body. Luckily for him his coat was red enough to hide the true severity of the damage from the cubs though the older ones had pretty much seen them when they had been freshly inflicted. They were dirty from his falls to the ground but the dirt had slowed the bleeding.
Slowly and carefully he let his paw down and allowed Teule to his paws, "She is the best, so there's no need for any of us to worry. What were you planning on doing today? I'm sure there's lots of little game for a mighty preditor like yourself."
