I nearly forgot about this guild. I'm a flutist! It seems a bit awkward to see other people stare at me for playing flute because there are only 2 guys (me and some other friend) who plays the flute, and the rest 7 or more flutists are girls. I don't really feel 'out-of-picture'. I play what I can and I'm cool. larghness! I just took my time of 2 hours last night trying to tab out the flute part of "Radical Dreamers" of Chrono Cross... I'm 3/4 done, but the last part of the choir sound is hard to tab.

shuki582 Yay for flutes! Everyone always says they hate the flute section cuz when we have to be quiet, we're too loud. When we have to be loud, we're too quiet. Maybe it's because the stupid trombones and trumpets are TOO FREAKIN' LOUD!! Jeez! We're the second largest section in marching band and you can't even hear us because of the damn trumpets! TRUE THAT (COUGHPAUL LAWSON THE TRUMPET SHOULD HEAR THATCOUGH)

RinoaHeartilly Miangel Yeah, basically. XD I seem to have escaped just in time. One of the girls went all "flute-nazi" and now there's a bunch of drama erupting. Dear lord. It's CRAZY. I feel kind of bad because it's partially my fault... now that I'm gone they're leaderless. >> But... tenor-guy seems happy that I'm now in the sax section. Well, happy for him, anyway. He was picking on me all day yesterday. XP lol, i think he likes you xD That, or he's just glad to have someone to talk to in class. XP One of the two. Apparently some guy my BD knows is doing a demonstration thing on Sunday for little kids of different instruments, and he needed a trumpet player, a clarinet player, an alto sax player, and a flute player. My BD picked me to be the flute player. ^^ Which is kinda cool. Should be interesting....

Funny-bunny13 RinoaHeartilly Funny-bunny13 RinoaHeartilly Funny-bunny13 Second.They give it to us in 5th.This other place starts it at 3rd.They are really big on music not so much on sports like we are.My mom has talked to parents from that school when we go to compaitions cuz my bro.Today we have one at our high school. 3nodding i wanna go to a competition x_x we performed at a grade school instead. wicked, we might go to another concert at another grade school in April x___x awesome! do you know where? I live in Ohio =D

Is it ok that you wnat to kill your band director for not treating you like the senior flute that you were? I was the only senior Flute in my Band last year...

Well, at least you weren't told, 'Hey, the fact that you were section leader last year doesn't count. I'm just going to make them section leader, too, because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.' Translation, all four seniors were section leaders, and two dropped out. Of course, now I'm playing piccolo in the wind ensemble and I sit first chair flute in the symphonic band because it's nearly impossible for me to play picc for three hours straight.

I bet it would be hard to play the pic for 3 hours straight. Hell playing the fluts that long can be hard at times.
