I hope I did that right, lol. Still trying to get the hang of "wa, ka, ni, and mo" and where to put them. ^ ^; wa- is; means ka- do (did, is, wa, are, means, etc.) ni- at; by; for; from; in; on; to; per mo- also; and; even "nihongo wa watashi ni" is very difficult to understand. you mean: "nihongo wa muzukashii desu." if you want to say you don't understand it: wakaranai desu. as you get closer to someone, you change your talking. 3nodding Ooohh, okay then. Domo arigato gozaimasu, Megumi-chan. ^^

Ohaiyoo gozaimasu, watashii wa Sadako desu! ^_^ for your age it would be: juusansai desu. sai is age. edit: Oha iyoo gozaimasu, watashi i wa Sadako desu! correct: okayoo gozaimasu. watashi wa Sadako desu.

tokorode, kyounen nihonjin no ryuugakusei wa 「anata wa nansai desu ka?」to kikimashita.
by the way, last year a japanese transfer-student asked "how old are you?".
watashi no kotae wa 「hassai desu」deshita.
my awnser was "I'm 8 years old".
rofl ! I forgot the juu(10) before hassai(8 years) and my friend looked a little baffeled... aquard silence and all that~
I noticed it soon enough and we laughed a bit about it though 4laugh
just a little embarrasing.
