Leto watched as atre seemed to welcome the newcomer to their dorm. He really needed to put the flowers in a vase because they were getting a bit cumbersome to hold but it was only now calming down. Oh wait it needed a name didn’t it. Hmm it kind of looked like an ides didn’t it. Then Ides it was.

“hmm oh, yeah it’ll be perfectly fine in the room. Chani knows not to go after fluffbugs and Atre seems to be calming the little guy down. Fluffbugs are really social so I think Ides will perk up as soon as it calms down after its little heart attack” Leto pointed out. Luckily by the time that he finished his statement Ides had seemingly put itself back in flight and followed Atre back to his favorite plant. “…..ah its already... I mean it looks like it's starting to really like our room. ” Ides was starting to show the same behavior as Atre had when Leto had taken him home for the first time. He hoped he would be a good owner. He hadn’t quite expected to have this many familiars this young but his mom but he was pretty sure he could handle it.





Solomon put the plushie in his pocket. Considering he got his win he was a bit torn on what he should do next. His mom would probably say something like he should go and try to make friends but he wasn’t really good at socializing. In fact that he was here instead of trying to hunt down his cousin Leto or even his older brother frost was a rather good indicator that he could probably go the evening without . Still if he happened to meet someone and socialize then it happened and his mother would be happy. It was then he realized that some one was throwing a bouquet of all things at bakeneko freshling. Leto thought about calling out considering it didn’t seem like they had seen the flowers but it seemed as if his hand had lashed out instead and knocked it aside. Ah… that had hurt more than it should of…
His eyes widened as his mind caught up and he realized in stopping the flowers he had hit something not flowery in nature and he quickly knelt down to see a fluffbug. Oh nine he hadn’t harmed it, had he? As he leaned down to inspect it full well knowing that he was running a very high chance of getting squirted he was very much surprised to see that the fluffbug shook the damage off crawled around Solomon’s hand before uh…. Wasn’t he supposed to be getting squirted at the moment? He let a surprised look dart across his face as he looked over at the bakeneko.

“Sorry about that. While flowers aren’t the heaviest thing I’ve seen thrown tonight it can still hurt. Probably should have just called out to you”

Morginn was still greatly enjoying himself. He'd found a few other Fey dancing and had joined the little group to dance along. That was something he missed from home, where dancing was far more common than it seemed to be here. From time to time he would look around to make sure Palette was still with him. The rainbow wisp was still following Morginn, though was curiously exploring everything in the area. He noticed a dark red and gold wisp following Palette around, and he wondered if they'd made a friend. Well good! Nightmares and Daydreams shouldn't be the only ones having fun during a festival!

Jaden clung shyly to the plushie he had won as he sought out Eriu's room. He was pretty sure she wouldn't be there since just about everyone was down at the festivities, but he was kind of counting on that. He had already given her a plushie he'd made earlier in the day, and it would have been way too embarrassing for him to seek her out to give her another one. Still, looking at the pretty red fabrics made him think of his friend, and he thought she might like it. He peeked carefully in her room, but didn't spot her. Moving quickly, just in case, he went in and left the little plushie on her bed and just as quickly retreated before anyone spotted him and asked what he was doing.

Alyssum finished her dumpling and decided to continue looking around a bit at the different booths. Maybe she should try her hand at another game? She peered around at the booths, hoping to see something likely looking nearby. There were a couple, but they seemed to depend on strength of arm and Alyssum was probably a bit too small for those games. She wandered for a bit, keeping her eyes open, when she happened upon what appeared to be a guessing game. Best part she didn't even need to speak to guess, she just had to point at her answer. She won a cute purple plushie, and moved to the side of the game booth to situate her prize with the other plushie she had tucked under her arm.

Aellys was having a better time than he thought he would. Except for that one time where he couldn't lay eyes on Bryony, everything was going smoothly. He and Bryony had both gotten a couple plushies, and Bryony had come away with a jackalope familiar. He would say that this year's Hunter's Jubilee had gone off pretty well. "Want to stay a while longer, Bry?" he asked, ruffling a hand through his son's hair. "Or are you getting too tired to stay?" He chuckled softly as the little freshling tried to hide a yawn from his dad, shaking his head.

Tamandani cheered the girls as they came back with their prizes. "Wonderful!" she said happily and pulled them both into a hug. "I'm really glad you girls are having so much fun," she said with a smile. It was great to be able to relax with the girls and no one had to worry about schoolwork for one night at the very least. "What do you think you'd like to do next? There's still more games to be played, or we could see what kinds of things are for sale," she suggested. She would have liked to see the vendors' tables, but was happy to leave the choice up to Crux and Maylis.

Maylis laughed breathlessly as she leaned against Crux and Tamandani, hugging her new plush to her chest. She blinked at them as she was given the choice of what their next activity would be. She chewed her lower lip as she thought about this. She knew that Crux would want to play more games, and maybe they could do that later, but for now she wanted to slow down and she thought Tamandani would want the same thing. So she chose to wander the tables for a little bit, wondering if she could find a nice piece of jewelry or something.

“Oh… thank you for that” Solomon replied, frowning a bit when there still wasn’t a response from the other freshling. Well it wasn’t like he didn’t have family friends that were on the mute side. He knew a fair bit of sign from his mother. He repeated his words in sign just in case there was another medical reason for her not to be speaking. Of course he was drawn away from trying to see if she had in fact heard him by something flying through the air again. He this time spotted it and once again whacked it out of the air with his hand. Luckily this time it didn’t come with a familiar.

Solomon let out a small sound which very much resembled an irritated ‘tch’. Figures he had avoided getting pummeled with plushies all night and then the second he goes out of his way to help someone the universe rewards him by trying to throw objects at him. Well at least the plushies hurt a little less than the bouquet of flowers and he had been able to smack it away with his hand but still the nerve of people. They were freshlings; yes normally that meant they would enjoy the plushies more but if you were going to throw something at a person… shouldn’t you make sure they weren’t a kid?



“Ah?” Leto repeated at a lower frequency before he could help himself although Jaden soon answered the question by putting out a blue flower. There were a lot of flowers this festival, although it was probably a good thing that he had escaped allergies. It looked kind of sad though in its smallish planter. They definitely needed to get better vases… they needed to get vases. With that in mind he shifted his grip on the giant thing of flowers again. If it wouldn’t be so polite to think badly of a gift Leto would almost comment that if you were going to give someone flowers you should totally do it with a vase.

“Yes finding a vase or vases for our flowers would be lovely… this isn’t really heavy per say but it is a bit awkward to hold on to” leto admitted.
