Sodain listened and thought about this. "I would have to likely find
someone. But the ruby crystal is very powerful. I would need to
makesure who ever it was transfered to would be able to handle the
power it takes to use it." Sodain winced a little as there was a
slight explosion overhead and the lights flickered starting to fade as
well as the air flow as alarms all over the dragon city sounded about
the main power generator failed from the power source it had used.
Sodain sighed a bit holding his hand out catching a few glittering
charred shard of red crystal like the one he made. "it seems 55
thousand years is the life expectancy of the ruby power core." Sodain
said out loud but seemed to talk to himself. Then he closed his eyes
bursting into some fire red and orange scales as well as flameing
wings like a phonix as he leaped off the railing of the balcony flying
up in a rather large dragon form. Not sure if the dragon girl would
follow him. But he landed clinging his dragon tallons and tail to the
Upon landing he looked at the power cradle where a huge gem looked to
have been housed. Using his flaming wings as light to see placed one
of his hands in the center of the cradle and started to form a crystal
which grew slowly filling the cradle. Lifting his hand as needed the
crystal he made grow longer then previous and form a large ball at the
open part of the cradle. Then Sodain bent a few pieces of metal down
to hold onto it like a gem held inside a ring fitting. And then vines
of ruby crystals shot up into the stone around the cradle working like
anchors and then as it started getting difficult to breath sodain
grabbed a metal spike with wires plugged into driving the tip into
this crystal. Then sodain slipped falling from the stone ceiling but
built a fireblast in his throat hitting the crystal with intense fire
as it absorbed this heat as energy and in a few minutes the lights
around the cradle lit back up brightly. And the failed lights all over
as well as the wind generators furnaces
And everything else started back up powering back up but sodain
changed into a human form falling head first down the center and
deepest part of dragonia having fallen unconsious.

The young woman quickly flew after him and when he fell flew down fast and caught him, slowly lowering down and gently laid him down on a balcony and sighed. Looking down at him she was worried. Thinking she then picked him up and took off flying up then diving down fast, leveling as she sped through the air and went around some alleyways before pausing at a large stone building and flew inside the hole, the tunnel lit by lights above as she went and as she did eventually came out to a large room lit by odd lighting and mystic runes. "Senior Elder Kaa, I come with a crystal user that carries dragon blood. He has said he wishes to return but cannot due to the crystal of ruby power. Is there anyway to free him of this power and allow him to be with the dragon kin as he desires?" She asked unsure.
The dragon Kaa looked around as he came out and inhaled sighing and looked to the girl and Sodain. "Perhaps there is a way but the way and where the crystal power will go is not well known. Are you offering to house that power?" He asked. She was quiet not sure and slowly nodded. "If you think i can carry that weight Senior Elder Kaa. I will house and leave our city if needed so he may have his desire." The female dragon said. "Well....I feel no body strong enough for the Ruby Power. Perhaps there will need to be two but that is dangerous. I shall do the transfer if you are ready." He said and she slowly nodded, letting the power from Kaa slowly start to move and hold both up and surround both separately as the runes in the room started to glow, starting to transfer the power of crystal into her so to let her let Sodain live back with the dragons. When he finished he would use a flick of his tail to send the woman away, warping her up to the surface out of the city and let him lay on the floor where soft water flowing gave serenety and peace to the chamber.

Sodain lay there groaning as he started to wake up his hair turned to
fire as he reached up and rain his fingers through his hair. His head
did ache a bit. Sitting up opening his eyes slowly as his back lifted
from the ground fire bloomed out of his back like wings and his eyes
looked to be swirling orbs of fire. One black one white since his ruby
powers where gone. Looking around he lay eyes on Kaa and gasped
slightly. "where am I?" Sodain asked in a soft voice.

Kaa looked down to Sodain, seeing his change and spoke calmly. "You are in the city of dragons. I saw you repair the crystal that powers our home. You do not hold the power of crystal no more. The woman who brought you to me decided she was ready to house the power in herself to allow you the ability to reside in the city of dragons as she said it was what you had said you wished to do."

Sodain sighed a bit. "I do long to be with others of my kind.
Though... I am not entirely sure I might be welcome by many. Secondly
there is someone im imprinted on but they do not share the feelings I
have for them. And though I tried to break the imprinting I suffered a
broken heart for 15 thousand years far longer then anyone on record.
That young lady I hope she can use it without it consuming her."
Sodain said softly scales and featers of red and orange form on
various parts of his body taking a mix of dragon and phonex aspects.
"I... Happen to be the son of Lilianna a pure dragon. The previos ruby
crystal guardian before me. But my father was Victor a brother of the
last queen of Syna before its fall. He is a mix of vampire blood
and..." Sodain takes a deep breath looking down. "...phoenix blood."
Sodain said softly not sure if it would cause him to be banished or
not but only hearing once before Syna fell dragons had been forbidden
from breeding with phoenixs. But wasnt even really sure if it was
true.

Kaa sighed. "You should be fine. If any give you trouble come back and we shall resolve it if they hold ill towards you for your different wings. Your mother did break our laws and banished she was but I am granting you chance to see what your mother had left so to be with another that was not from here. A token to allow them to know I grant you residence here for as long as you desire." He said a speare lowering and formed into a token charm for him to carry with words "safe passage granted - Kaa" on it. In Syna the young woman groaned slowly sitting up and held her head, not sure what happened as her head was hurting, part of her light hair now red and small crystals on her arm like scales as she looked around, one eye red as she felt the new power going through her and wondered to what she could do, having not felt a power like this before. Holding a hand out she formed crystals of red and smiled. "Amazing.....I wonder......what else I can do...?" she asked softly, slowly smiling as she was liking the feel of this power.

Sodain took it and bowed gracefully. "thank you great and wise Kaa. I
shall do my best to fit in here. Also the new power crystal should be
able to last much longer until another sorce to power this city can be
discovered." Sodain said then looked around taking in the sites of the
room and pondered seeing a few things. "Oh this looks alot like a slow
fall engine design. Did you design this?" Sodain ask seeming to wonder
if maybe the original engines where not finished being made and
installed for syna wondering if this was intended for it as it seemed
like an old parchment the design was on encased in an air tight case
to preserve it. Wolgar the emerald guardian smelled the scent of the
new arrival and padded into the room she was in and watched her
silently tilting his head.

Some dragons looked at Sodain but didn't advance towards him. The young woman looked around and grinned slowly. "This power....it feels so wonderful.....it feels so.....amazing....so strong....so abundent." She hissed grinning and slowly was forming more red crystals, testing to see what it could do some. "I wonder if one can earn more power? I wonder if I can get more power to feel this serge more?" she asked not seeing anyone watching her as she looked at her hand, forming crystals to hover above her upturned palm. "why would he had wished to give this up?" she asked loving the feel of the power of the ruby crystal.

Sodain seen the other dragons just looking at him and waved trying to
be nice. Wolgar walked up behind her and knew what was happening and
wrapped her arm in emerald crystals binding the use for the time
being. "So I see you have Sodains crystal powers. Mind answering how
you got them?" Wolgar spoke but if she looked around she would only
see a rather large wolf. Twice the normal size but looked to be just a
normal wolf which normally didnt speak like a human.

She looked around blinking and started to feel creeped out some. "Well......the user of this was crying and said he wanted to be with the dragon kin again but couldn't because of his crystal power so I took him to see the Senior Elder and I was given his power of crystals so he could live where he had said he wished to be." She said slowly looking around unsure who had asked and to who had just put her arm in green crystal, annoying her as it made her feel less power from the ruby crystals. Those in the dragon city looked at him, most fleeing or moving quickly away to do their errands or to do as they were but a few did wave back or nod in return to acknowledge him.

Sodain look slightly hurt but tried not to let it show when the others
where not openly nice to him. But the ones that did wave back made him
smile softly. Wolgar spoke making his voice ring out around the room
now. "Well I can see how a longing to be with his people and can be
longed for. Not many of the people stuck in the old ways would be so
welcoming to Sodain because of his mothers actions. All because she
imprinted on one she was forbidden to mate with. She left dragonia to
live among those of the other guardians and citizens of the sacred sky
clan of Syna because of first most the crystals power can drive
dragons to want more power unless they are properly trained this is
why I am speaking to you. To assertain your training or be corrupted
by the added power of the crystals." Wolgar said watching her knowing
it would probably make her feel odd more.

She looked around confused and blinking and looked around more to try and find the person speaking. "Who's there? Who's speaking to me? What do you mean? I'm just fine." She said feeling strange and feeling a craving of wanting more power, not liking how she felt so without the power she had gotten and had liked the feeling of, wanting to feel it again and more power to feel more power flowing through her. A couple of dragon kin moved over closer to Sodain, not sure what to do or to trust or not. One pushed the other forwards who glared at their friend then to Sodain, eyeing him over in stunned awe as they hadn't seen one with wings like his before. "ummm what kind of dragon are you?" hew askwed curosaly.

Wolgar laughed a bit. "Im Wolgar aa medical and military head general
there was three of us. The oldest of the crystal users. We train the
newer users in the ways of using crystals. You having Sodains crystals

the wolf huffed and sneezed. Sodain smiled to the ones approaching
him. "oh well... Im also part phonix. That might be the reson for my
wings looking this way. I just recently found out my father was half
phoenix. Im not entirely sure if my mother knew the man she imprinted
on and mated was half phoenix. Afterall she died before I found out so
its not like I can ask. But from things I have heard it seems she may
have known. But dispite this I am a nice person." Sodain said now
worried they wont like him. But gave being honest a chance.

The young woman looked around then at the wolf blinking. "A dog? You are a wolf or dogthenI take it andnot a human or a dragon?" she asked confused and was a little twitchy now as she was craving power and was feeling lost, wondering how he knew all this so well. The pair in front of Sodain looked at the other then him. "Oh that's cool. We never seen anything or anyone that wasn't a dragon. Seems there is a law that we can't be with those out there outside the city." One siaid nodding a little. "What brings you here?" the other asked.

Wolgar licked his lips and had a slight sneer on his muzzle. "Wolf is
right there is a difference then just being a dog. Dogs will do
anything for attention. Wolves have a sense of pride and there are
some things they just won't do for attention unlike the less prideful
dog." Wolgar said seeming to have a tone of disgust when he talked
about dogs. "But technically I am a wolf yet I am not a wolf and the
same time I am yet am not human. The term werewolf or lupis sapien
lycomorph is the more appropriate term. There are other types of
animal speicies of lycans then just wolf." Wolfgar said changing
before her eyes and stood nude for a second as emerald crystals formed
over his body obscuring his privates then shattered revealing
clothing. "I also know your having withdrawls from me temporarily
binding the ruby crystals as well the signs are obvious I know them
well as both a head trainer to new recruits and a medical doctor. You
need to follow me if you want access to the use of the crystals
again."
Wolgar told her and then lead the way to a special room waiting for
her to follow. Sodain smiled relieved these ones seemed nice. "Well.
Ever since I was hatched I heard stories of this place. Even visited
on business a few times in the past. But my job I had kept me from
staying too long. I used to be a crystal guardian. But I gave that up
to be here. But also to see if an improper one way imprinting would
break since the one I imprented on only had 'friend' feelings toward
me. Also with being part dragon I longed to be among others. I
remember when our kind filled the skies like passing clouds in a mid
summers day durring the rain seasons. But as humans grew more
technologically advanced I noticed less of our kind in the skies until
I was the only one left in the sky. Most of the dragons grew fearful
the powers that humans where obtaining through technology. A few
others had fallen from the skys as most others feared and the rest who
did not fear hid as well to be safe." Sodain sounded sad saying this.
