"Alright. So I think how we do this so that everyone gets their 3 turns is that every pair goes twice. Each person will end up going four times, but, it works." Takeshi shrugged as he finished that sentence, and uncoiled the roped that Tairu had handed to them. He then tied up Tairu and Kaede using a series of complicated knots and wrapped them all the way form their angles to their shoulders. "Sorry if it's too tight," he said as he finished off the complicated rope work. He was much better at doing rope work than performing hand seals.

Takeshi finished up his complex knot tying about a minute after he began. He had wrapped the rope around several limbs including arms, legs, and mid-sections. He had also tied of the rope several times while wrapping Kaede and Tairu, which would meant that while they were untying themselves, they would have to undo several knots along the way, knots that wouldn't be reachable until they moved the rope bound in front of it. "Alright, done," he said as he finished. "Okay, your turn. Show me what you've got," he said, sounding a little cocky. He was proud of his rope work, and didn't think that they would get out so easily.

Tairu waited patiently as he watched Takeshi tie up Kaede and Himself. Alright, If the two of us work together we should be able to do this easily. Tairu thought to himself. When he Takeshi finished with his knots Tairu noticed that arrogance he sensed earlier. Oh, I'll show him these knots are nothing to be proud off. Tairu wiggled his left hand a bit as he tried to jockey for a better position. With a few of his fingers free Tairu nimbly felt along the rope for a knot. He quickly found one near Kaede's left elbow. Using four of his fingers he loosened and undid the knot giving his a little more room to feel around. As Tairu looked at the situation he realized that if Kaede could untie the knot near her left elbow they would free them selves. Kaede if you can untie the knot by your left elbow I think we can escape. Tairu told her. Nawanuke no Jutsu

Kaede's mind blanked out on the details of the Nawanuke no Jutsu exercise. Tied up with Hyuuga-san? That would mean that not only would her personal bubble be invaded, but that they'd be touching too. Already, she did not like the sound of the jutsu and watched Sasaki-san with an apprehensive gaze when he coiled the rope around them. The girl fidgeted, feeling the heat of Hyuuga-san's back against her own. It was making her palms sweaty. The situation was more uncomfortable than the time Masato-san shook her hand. At least the contact was brief, and she wasn't self-aware of his breathing. Every time Sasaki-san time tightened the rope to make a knot, the girl would whimper.
Once Sasaki-san had announced that he was finished, the girl immediately went to attack the knots near her mid section, hoping the rope would slack enough that she could increase the space between them. It didn't. And then her nervousness increased. What if Sasaki-san did a miscalculation? What if they were trapped? What if they couldn't escape?
The girl desperately went for another random knot, gritting her teeth as she did so. When Hyuuga-san suggested the rope near her left elbow, Kaede abandoned the knot she had previously focused on and worked on that instead. 'It's very stubborn,' the girl thought with a glower. Perhaps Sasaki-san underestimated his strength and overdid the tightness of the rope. Because she was feeling chest pains, and it was becoming hard to breathe. Or perhaps this was another one of her panic attacks. Kaede felt too lightheaded to know which one it was. All she knew was that she had to get out of this, out, out, out.

(13 + 15 = 28 > 16 Pass) As Tairu sat and waited for Kaede to get the knot couldn't help but noticed how tense she seemed. He could feel her heart racing as the vibrations passed through her body and into Tairu's back. This was another new sensation today. Tairu had never really been close to someone before since they were always keeping him at arms length. His own heart started to beat a little bit faster, almost as if it was trying to keep in beat with Kaede's heart. It like a sub conscious reaction from Tairu as somewhere in the recess of his mind he wished to comfort her. Watching Kaede work on the rope gave Tairu confidence that they would free themselves. He could feel the ropes lessening in tightness and Tairu squirmed to get himself some more room. Tairu felt himself become able to move and he slipped out of the ropes to freedom. That's one down two to go. Tairu looked at Kaede with a smile on his face. "Great job Kaede, I couldn't have done it without you." Tairu told her. Nawanuke no Jutsu

Takeshi was disheartened by the two other students untying themselves from his rope work. He had taken the time and effort to wrap them up from every conceiveble angle, and it has all been undone in a matter of seconds. Bu the feeling soon passed, he knew that it was going to become undone; that was the assignment. So he followed up the slight pause after Tairu and Kaede were both free with, "Okay, so what are we doing now? Did you two want to go again, or were we gonna rotate, or something..." He made slight hand gestures while talking to show that he was confused. "How about you guys think it over, and I'm gonna practice the Bushin no Jutsu training a little."
Takeshi then took a few steps back, sat on the stump of a tree that had been cut down, and attempted to perform the hand seals for the Bushin no Jutsu while building his chakra. Takeshi performed all of the hand seals perfectly, without tripping up one bit. It made him happy, for his failure streak was just that much more bearable.

The girl was finally able to shrug off the ropes, immediately scooting away from Hyuuga-san once she had the chance. His body heat still lingered on her back, like a burn on her skin, a constant reminder. Her cheeks flush, making the mental effort to ignore it, and as she moved her limbs and legs, she felt a different sensation vibrate inside of her. It felt like taking a deep breath after swimming head underwater for so long. Refreshing. Was this how freedom felt?
After being constricted a few minutes ago, the girl felt the urge to get up and walk around. Briefly, Kaede had eye contact with Hyuuga-san's pupiless ones and once again she was breathless, as Hyuuga-san smiled at her for the third time that day. The phantom burn on her back flared up again and she decided that the ground would be more appealing to look at.
Before she could contemplate or feel elated about his compliment- she was actually able to be of help to Hyuuga-san -there was a burning sensation, a sharp pain that prickled her hands from her palms to the tips of her digits. It hurt to move them, flex her fingers, or to hold anything. These symptoms seemed to match up with the several scroll descriptions of chakra exhaustion she had read about, when she was doing an independent study on chakra theories a while back in preparation for her first academy day.
"Rotate," she croaked. "I-I need to rest... a bit."
It wasn't possible to make another attempt at the Nawanuke no Jutsu under these conditions. For that, Kaede was thankful that the next dreadful attempt was stalled, still feeling the panic and the tension in areas of her body where the ropes had once been tightened around. The girl opted to sit on ground under a tree, and closed her eyes for a bit.

Pleased with his success, and eager to to do so again, Takeshi attempted the Bushin no Jutsu hand seals again. While looking down at his hands, he said, "Alright Tairu, looks like it's gonna be you and me." Unfortunately, while talking to Tairu, Takeshi had screwed up his concentration and gotten the hand seals wrong. "Crap", he said and looked up from his failure. Only then did he see what had happened to Kaede. Her skin was covered in beads of sweat, her breathing was shallow and shaky. Something was wrong.
Takeshi walked the few feet over to Kaede, knelt down, and asked, "Are you okay?" He didn't care much for her answer, he could see that she was not. It would either be no surprise or a lie, both of which he didn't care for. As he gave her a good answer while she answered him, he was actually took back. He knew she was shy, but she was exhibiting symptoms of intermediate shock, as if she had recently been attacked.

Tairu looked at Kaede and could her chakra levels were low, probably almost empty. He himself had felt that sensation after burning through two ninjutsu lessons. "All right Kaede, you tie up me and Takeshi and then take a rest while we free our selves." He told. Tairu then picked up the rope which was laying on the ground and handed it to Kaede. Tairu's bare skin hurt slightly from where the rope had rubbed against it but he was still feeling fine and ready to go. Good, soon I will have escaped twice and then I'll only need one more. Tairu thought to himself. Nawanuke no Jutsu

Since Tairu had made it seem like not much, Takeshi got up and walked away from Kaede. A small part of him hoped that she was okay, another small part was thinking that he would be uber pissed if she was faking, and the vast majority of Takeshi just didn't care. Takeshi walked back over to the stump, sat down and closed his eyes. He sat straight up, and without reopening his eyes or turning his head, he said to Tairu, "Just let her rest for a little while and help me with me with my training. She looks like she needs a break.
Takeshi tried again to perform the four necessary hand seals that would activate the Bushin no Jutsu. He neglected to open his eyes and failed again. He sighed and said, "Crap", once more as he opened his eyes and looked down at his hands.

Yarotai had long ago heard the tell tale sounds of training as he approached the mountains. What he hadn't heard was the soft soothing voice of a beautiful young maiden for him to woo. This lack of women was confirmed as he came into sight of the children that were in the midst of tying each other up. He smiled wondering what kind of madness the course syllabus had come to include since his graduation nearly a decade ago. The young man dropped his stuffed pack of teaching supplies against a nearby tree before approaching the small gang with his arms crossed on the vest upon his chest.
His black cargo pants reached down to just above the tops of his standard issue blue ninja shoes. The hood of his black hooded jacket rested easily over the fuma shuriken latched to his back. Three utility pouches sat along his lower back, two connected to his vest and one to his belt. A kunai holster rode higher than normal on his right thigh.
The konoha forehead protector glinted a bit in the sunlight as he spoke, "Well what have we got here? You guys look like a lively enough class. Even started training before your dear old teacher showed up. So who has my apple?"

When Sasaki-san inquired about her physical condition, Kaede slowly reopened her eyes. Once her vision had focused and the girl realized how close he was to her, she instinctively pushed herself back with her hands, alarmed at their proximity. She immediately regretted the action, as it further agitated the pain in her hands, and it'd probably give Sasaki-san the impression that she was revolted by him. Not true. Before she could think of what to say to dispel that notion, he had already walked away to resume his Bunshin. The girl sighed, frustrated at her inability to respond at the right time. Later... later she'll figure out how to assure him she didn't have anything against him.
Kaede turned her attention to Hyuuga-san, who had offered her a rope for the Nawanuke no Jutsu. She wasn't ready yet to make eye contact again just yet, still feeling rather nervous around him. The girl would have gladly helped them with their jutsu attempt, if the pain in her hand would just go away already. The intensity had already faded away a little bit, but it wasn't enough for her to grip anything just yet.
Before she could speak up, she spotted a man with crossed arms approaching them. Kaede stared at him with apprehension. Perhaps he was a thief or an enemy shinobi. But the plate, with a Konoha leaf visible on his forehead, was mildly reassuring. Still, any shinobi could assume the shape of another shinobi with a henge no jutsu, or wear the forehead protector of a dead konoha shinobi. It wasn't until the stranger had introduced himself, that she allowed herself to relax. So this was her sensei... he wasn't exactly what she had expected him to be. The girl had imagined that all adults were someone around her father's age.
"Um... s-sensei," she mumbled, if his name had been written on the chalkboard back in the classroom or on the course syllabus scroll, she either completely missed it or couldn't remember what it was. Useless, useless girl.
"I'm so s-sorry... were we supposed to bring an apple for training? I forgot," she bit her lip, eyes tearing up. She made yet another glaring blunder on her first day, and in front of her sensei no less! "Please give me a second chance. I don't have a lot of m-money on me right now... my family is poor. But t-tomorrow... I should be able to afford one. I-I won't forget next time, I promise."

Yarotai turned his attention to some soft murming that appeared to be coming from the girl in the group. Not that any of them really stood out as men to the Chuunin. Though he could clearly hear the girl, he knew that allowing her to be so timid wouldn't do at all. He squinted one eye in false confusion and leaned closer to the child cupping one hand over his ear and placing the other on his hip.
"EH!? I can't hear you kid. Speak up."

Takeshi momentarily ignored the newcomer's arrival and said nothing. Hearing him be all friendly, but to find out that they were to be taught by a shinobi straight out of the Chuunin exams, was aggravating. On top of that, the fact that he came in all cocky with the apple, not so bad, but Kaede's response infuriated him.
He decided that before he would confront the shinobi, he would use his anger to work for him at the Bushin no Jutsu. It worked, as he performed the hand seals correctly while building chakra for the jutsu. After which, he released the chakra.
The more Takeshi thought about it, the more angry he got. Asking for an apple when he was a whole day late was extremely rude, for one, and Kaede's response infuriated him beyond recognition. Asking for food from one that is poor, unexcusable! And three, tauting a poor, shy girl, unforgivable!!!
"So you're supposed to be our teacher?", he said his eyes closed, and his arms crossed across his chest. "Nice of you to show up." Takeshi opened opened his eyes, and everyone at the Training grounds could see the hostility in his eyes. They burned like fire, scaring the crap out of anyone that looked straight at him without bracing themselves for what they would see. He turned to Kaede and he could see that her eyes looked as if they were watering. Takeshi then looked back to the newcomer and said," If you want your apple, it's on your desk, yesterday." The way he said yesterday stung of bitterness.
