The moment Mirai took his hand, Atticus would be able to feel her soul and she would feel his. Despite them both being children of Divine, they each had their own reactions about his death. Mirai, showed little to no emotions at all, while Atticus shed tears. The two were so different. As she let go of his hand, Atticus looked towards Mirai, she was going to dust herself off, but stopped and looked at the black blood on her clothes. Atticus too, would stare at the blood, which was undoubtedly Divine's. Turning to face her, Atticus did what he was know to do, he would bottle up any and all emotion he had left and seal them away. So, putting on obviously fake smile, Atticus placed his hand on Mirai head, "A job well done, Mirai. Now, lets get you to the nurse." he stated, sounding a little like Divine.
Dark Overdrive: The power represents the very aspect of darkness and death, complete and total annihilation is what the opponent has to look forward to if they are caught in this sphere of darkness. When Atticus fires the pitch-black beam, either in human form or weapon form, his entire body bristles with dark energy before it all condenses it self upon his index finger; or in weapon form, the tip of his blade. When enough energy is built, the dark sphere lunges towards its prey, tearing and ripping away any and all sources of light or any other images of hope out of its prey's perception. When contact is made, a mighty explosion occurs; tearing the unfortunate victim apart. This attack will leave even the most mighty of opponents bleeding and shredded. [Can be used 5 times per battle, but with a cool-down period of 3 posts.]

Herald growled, pausing as he was completely surrounded, but only momentarily. "Herald, don-" but before Eric could finish his sentence Herald moved. His first attack was to backhand Texas across the face before anyone had even realized he had begun. Texas spun in the air, slamming into the ground below with a *whump* as he landed. Herald then grabbed Kasumi by the blade, blood running down his palm as the blade dug into his skin. He had called Miles's bluff who wasn't willing to cut his throat. Miles tried to pull Kasumi back but Herald was much too strong, spinning Kasumi himself as Miles arced over his head and went flying to the ground as well. Unlike Texas he landed on his feet and immediately pushed off, launching himself back up towards Herald. Herald grabbed Kasumi and hurled her like a javelin straight towards Miles who couldn't slow down in time. "Kasumi!" He yelled as she came towards him point first, ready to skewer him straight through.
Herald then reached up to grab Eric by the leg but found that he was gone. Eric was already coming towards him from the front, clearly ready to fight back. Herald clenched his fist and threw a punch at Eric as he reached him. Instead of dodging, Eric turned to the side slightly. This is gonna hurt you a lot more than it's gonna hurt me, he thought to himself as Herald's fist slammed into the edge of his shoulder, sending him spinning around. Instead of trying to correct himself, Eric put more force into the spin as he went past Herald, lashing out in a kick. The kick hit Herald in the side of the stomach. Although Eric was strong, the attack hit much harder than he could have done otherwise, due to the extra power Herald had given Eric's spin by punching him. Herald growled and spat out a mouthful of bright green blood, his eyes filled with hate as Eric managed to stop his spinning behind Herald. Eric's entire arm was numb from the hit Herald had landed on him and he knew he would feel the pain later, but for now he could still move it.
"Sorry bud," Eric told Herald as he stared back at him. "You'll be sor-" Herald cut off in mid-sentence as he felt a burst of dark energy coming towards him. His eyes widened in surprise, not realizing that Atticus had been holding back such a powerful attack. He used an explosion of resonance force to launch himself backwards as the sphere came, sending his green energy towards the sphere to slow it down. When the sphere exploded he managed to be out of the direct blast radius, but he was hit by the shockwave of the explosion. He felt the bones in his right arm crunch as he used it to shield his body. Dark energy slammed into him, burning him all over and cracking several of his ribs. After the attack was over Herald skidded to a halt in the air, coughing up another gout of bright green blood, this one larger than before. One of his cracked ribs had punctured his lungs, causing them to slowly begin filling with blood. His right arm was useless but he wasn't about to give up, looking down at Mirai with hate in his eyes. "You better run, brat. But I'll follow you wherever you go," he promised her.
Mirai continued to stay silent, looking at the ground quietly. She suddenly glanced towards Texas as he was sent flying by Herald. She quickly ran over to him "Are you alright?" she asked, mustering up some energy to heal any injuries he may have had. She stopped then and looked towards Herald as he made his threat. She stared at him for a moment before her gaze went downwards and she stood back up after making sure Texas was alright. A portal appeared behind her "I need to be left alone for a while... I'll make it to the nurse in a bit..." she muttered, not looking anyone in the eye before quickly heading into the portal and disappearing. The portal stayed open for a couple more moments due to Mirai being unable to control it very well for the time being. ((Exit))

☽ Emma could only watch as Herald attacked Eric and the others and then took the multiple attacks. She quickly moved in front of Mirai before she left so that Herald was looking at her. "That's enough!" she snapped at him "They are supposed to be our allies and you aren't doing a good job at showing it." she lectured with a glare. A portal began to appear, something Emma had learned to do in the past couple of months "Quit making things a bigger mess than they already are and lets head back. You need to be treated." she told Herald. ☾
Just as Atticus had started to open up more towards Mirai, they would be interrupted by Herald yet again. He had been fighting against Miles, Texas and Eric this entire time, but the turning point in this pointless fighting was when he knocked Texas away and threatened to kill, Mirai. Looking towards Shira, Atticus gave her a remorseful smile, as if he was preparing to do something horrible. Suddenly, Atticus banished from his current location and appeared right behind Emma. His hand had transformed back into a sword and he would place his mechanical arm around Emma's neck, while pointing the tip of his blade at her back. "This is as far as you go, Herald." Atticus stated as he had essentially taken Emma hostage. "I don't really care for you or her and I know you couldn't give a damn about any of us, but what about your precious love here?" Atticus asked, he had already known about Emma and Herald's relationship, or rather found out about it, during the three months that they were gone. Pushing his sword closer into her, Atticus showed that he was serious, "Leave, now or I will kill her." Despite Herald's power and speed, Atticus could easily kill Emma before Herald had the chance to stop him.

Kasumi was excited that they about to beat Herlad until when he grabbed her. She felt his blood on her. She had worried about Miles since he was before them. She then felt herself being thrown toward Miles. Before she stabbed him though, Kasumi changed back and fell into Miles's arms.

Well, if that's all then I'm going. Probably check up on the others around the city. Resting his sword on his shoulder, Blake started to walk away. He looked back at the group as they were still at a standoff. Ridiculous... Blake turned away as he flew into the sky, tearing through it at lightning speeds. [Exits]
This is boring. Max said as his energy began to surround him as the others were talking. He felt a familiar wavelength near by, selecting that as the next place he would go to. Exits
Shira only groaned and rubbed her forehead "There is no hope for this team..." She muttered as everyone was in a standoff. She still needed to think of something to help the group, more or less Atticus, Eric, and Herald, get along. "Yeah... our two teams won't be working together again for a while..." she muttered before speaking up "This is stupid. Atticus, step away from Emma. Herald, leave now and take a chill pill or something." she told them "I am sick of babysitting all of you specifically."
Atticus would hear Shira, but his eyes never once left Herald's, "Sorry." he muttered, but it was unknown if he was speaking to Shira or Emma, "But, enough is enough. Ever since we've met, Herald has been nothing more than a brute and brainless fool. He doesn't care for anyone or thing, he threatens my sister's life and just raged a battle against those he once called comrades. Now you just want me to let go?" he asked Shira. "Sorry, but I've grown tired of bowing down to this idiot and letting him do whatever he wants. Today this fool will know the consequences of pushing me too far." It seems that Atticus had finally had enough of Herald and from the look of it, he had intended to fight Herald once more. "At the end of the day, he is nothing more than a lonely and pathetic creature, with no friends or family by his side." Atticus then looked down to Emma, "If I should kill her, he would truly be alone in this world. Maybe then will he know pain and sorrow."

☽ Emma froze as she felt the sword at her back and Atticus' claw at her neck. The mark on the back of her neck which was hidden by her scarf began to extend into root like tattoos along her neck and starting down her back. Her eyes flickered purple for a moment, instincts wanting to kick in now that her life was being threatened. She glanced back slightly towards Atticus as he spoke, frowning slightly at the things he said about Herald. "Let me go." she told him eventually "I'm sorry for the troubles I have caused you in the past. But threatening to kill me will only make things worse for the rest of you. I think I know how to calm Herald down without the use of threats." she explained to him calmly. "I know you probably won't ever be able to trust me again because of how I acted before but at least just this once do so. I will grab Herald and we will leave." she told him. She was doing this for multiple reasons: one to try and prevent any unneeded blood shed and the other so she wouldn't go berserk and try and kill Atticus. With him threatening her, it was only a matter of time until her fear took over and she would attack as well and that was something she really didn't want. ☾

Listening closely to Emma's words, Atticus would show no signs of lowering his sword or loosening his grip on her neck. "Emma, in truth, I have no feelings of friendship or trust towards you. At one point in time, I thought that we could become close friends, but I no longer feel that way." As he spoke, Atticus' grip on Emma tighten, as if he wanted to strangle her. "It is because I feel no such things, that I can honestly say, this really has nothing to do with you." he would tell her. "You are just a by product in my own plans for revenge, against Herald." he admitted. "This is going to end one of two ways: either we both fight and one of us dies here and now or Herald will witness the only love he will ever know, die before him." It was clear, Atticus wasn't going to let her go, but the problem is, would Emma have the strength and speed necessary to stop him, should he try to kill her?

Shira frowned in annoyance "I understand Atticus. You won't be dealing with him for a while after this though. They won't be on our team for the time being. Go separate ways now please without someone dying." she told him. Shira looked at Michi "I am trying. And I have a plan but that would involve the stand off here coming to an end. And we are dealing with two hard heads here..." she muttered with an annoyed tone. This team really wasn't going to get anywhere if the members kept going at each others necks. This was getting very frustrating. This sort of thing happened too often but Atticus and Herald were too stubborn to move along.
