The book that Rashid was concentrating so hard on almost flew out of his lap at the persons words. His face broke out in a deep shade of red, he was embarrassed that he was so engrossed with what he was reading, that he didn't even hear this person come up behind him."Uh...well...trying to." He said bashfully. Looking back up at the man , he began to speak again. " Ive just been reading the entire thing from front to back...it's all very interesting, that Im just not sure where I should start. " He replied. His eyes looking down at the book once more. Being polite, Rashid held out his hand to the white hair individual. "Rashid.. I come to Kusana to hone my skills as a mage...by hopefully lending my ability's to this city. You are?" He asked, letting the question hang.

Bellhop
The man held out his hand and shakes Rashid. "Names Bellhop. A mage as well. Nice to meat you~" He said happily. He placed a finger on one of the page on his book. "How about you try this one? Light. It's a very easy thing to do. Here I'll show you." He bend down to pick up a peddle from the ground, have it lay on his palm and added energy to it. The little small stone started to glow, giving it a faint light in the day time. Already, Bellhop was showing the young trainee a demonstration. "Give it a try." He held out another peddle for him to try on.

"Alright..Seems simple enough to start out with." Rashid nodded in agreement. Taking the stone in hand, he thought back on what his parents taught him.. How to access the magical energy that flowed throughout him. He supposed that it was alot like his necklace. That when he poured a small bit of energy into that, he was able to either change into his human form, or his natural form of the Waktu. Focusing the energy in his palm, Rashid felt the rock get hot for a brief moment. Within moments, the rock lit up with a extreamly bright light. "Uhh...Whoops." He said, noticing that even with the already sunny day, the rock shined like a diamond. "Looks as if I added to much energy to it...Sorry belhop." "Trying to be a show off, are we?" he let out a grin, even though it was a accident for him adding a lot more energy on the stone. "Why don't try with a energy ball since you have so much to spar. Look see, it's actually quite fun." With a motion of his hand, he curated bright ball of light in his hand. He tossed it away, hitting a tree far off. "Did you see my energy moving up? I have a lot flowing inside me, so I know you do with those eyes of yours. That's one of the special thing of being a mage, you can see the magic happening before it's curated."

You move your hand in a circular motion gathering up energy and as soon as it forms into the white ball of energy you can toss it at people, it has no weigh thus it travels in a straight line and it is quite fast. Being hit by one of this is like getting punched. If it hits leaves they tend to turn into ash and human flesh suffers minor burns the strange thing is there is no heat present. Upon reaching adept rank this skill can be used by just aiming your open hand at the enemy and the ball will fly out. At master rank five at a time can come out yet it still just costs E rank energy. Well its not incredibly powerful anyway.
Detect Magic Rank: Passive Description: The user can detect magic. This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At higher ranks, you can determine the source in an area.

Rashid ducked his head, a bit embarrassed with himself. He would try to be better for the next few spells. With every word that Bellhop spoke, Rashid listened intently. Wanting to gain more knowledge from a mage such as himself. His parents did not give Rashid much of a story to go off from, but they did say that he was a powerful high-ranked mage. Someone that Rashid should seek out and learn from. He just could not believe his luck at how fast things where happening.
"Right..Lets try this." Rashid spoke, spinning both of his hands in a circular motion. As the energy within him coursed through and started throughout his hands, he saw it..he saw the flow of energy coursing throughout his body and focusing on his hands. A smile came across Rashi'd face, happy to know he was doing the right thing. Still sitting on the ground, he scooted to his left a bit and let the balls of energy leave his hands..going in a straight line, they hit a near by tree and knocked some of the wood off. (1/1) So, he thought...these spells are clearly not that strong. But they are the basics..and with something as powerful and delicate as magic, he would have to start somewhere.

"Alright, there's still plenty to know, so this will take a wile to know all the basics." He said, tilting his head to think for a bit. "How about this? Mage hand is a fun spell to know too. Check it." he hold up his hand, a finger only pointed out as he aim over to a lone stone out in the distant. He left his finger, and the rock did the same in a levitation. He then let it go to plump down on the earth.
"You can make a fun prank trick with these stuff actually. Even making ghost sounds. Oooooo~" He said out, but because he actually putted actual energy to it. He really sound like he's making spooky ghost sounds.
"Well lets see... Oh, right! I also got this!" He pulled out a scroll from his back, opening up revealing strange symbols on them. "These are Draconian language. Use your magic to try understand what its saying." He assist him to try. He already know what it says, nothing but recipes for a stew.

Taking the scroll from Bellhop's hands, Rashid began to focus his magic to his orbital area, and without him knowing his eyes began to glow the color of his magic. A deep forest green. Reading line from line in the Draconian language, he could translate each word that was on the scroll. His brows coming together in confusion as he continued. What? What was this? He asked himself... But noticed that it was probably a joke being pulled on him. It was recipes for stew.. How clever. He thought, cracking a smile as he finished reading. His eyes stopped glowing as he stopped reading. A small headache started to form he noticed...probably from the first time hes used magic in that sense. (1/1)
Going on to the next spell, Rashid picked up the rock he used earlier. The one that he made sparkle like a fregin diamond, and threw it as hard as he could. The rock landed a ways off.. Pointing his hand in the direction of the thrown rock, he felt the magic within him flare. Only using his finger, he watched the rock float around. Up, down, left, right.... his finger eventually made zig zags...the rock following his direction. Going further and further, he noticed that it was to far out of his reach, just like it said it would. (1/1)
Bring his hands back, Rashid placed them within his lap. Closing his eyes, hands holding one another he concentrated on the sound spell. From the far left of the two, small footsteps could be heard, gradually getting louder and louder...It almost sounded like the heal of a boot clicking on a marble floor. So loud, that the wildlife all but went silent, alarmed at the sudden and unusual sound. When Rashid opened his eyes, the sound stopped and an almost eerie silence cut through the air. Within minutes all went back to normal, like nothing had ever happened. "Unusual..." He said, happy with the results. (1/1)
The next spell that he was going to try, was one Bellhop hadn't showed him yet. It was more of an offensive spell for mages. ' Mystical Impalement ' it was called. This spell would be gathered in his hand and swung at the ground. Doing this would create magical spikes and go as far as 5 meters in front of him.... A wicked gleam shone in his eyes, offensive magic held great interest for the young mage. Gathering all that energy into his right hand, Rashid slammed it down on the ground. The energy left his hand and watched 4 spikes tear up the ground..." Yes! " He whooped, throwing his fist in the air.
Turning to Bellhop, " Im ready for more...I think ill start with these." He stated, going to finish the D - Rank spells in just a moment. He just needed to catch his breath.

Projection Rank: D Description: The user will make the image of anything they wish appear before, or near them. Be it a man, monster, or object. Although it makes now sound whatsoever.
Acsio Rankbiggrin Description: An incredibly basic spell its force is equal to the force of the user. The user creates a magical circle over the target object and pulls it towards him, there is no distance limit but it has to be visible to the user.
Energy Coat Rank: D Description: Since Arcanists need lighter equipment because they would be focused on dodging their enemies rather than taking the hit they created this spell. They will create a magical circle around them and from that they will be covered with a coat of energy. 4 E rank or two D ranks will break the defensive coat anything stronger than D rank will go clean through it like it was not there. It lasts till it breaks or 5 posts, which ever comes sooner. Has a 4 post cooldown period after it breaks or fades away.

Rashid would continue with only 2 more mage spells, ones that he could see use for. The next spells he would learn would be called Projection and Blasting energy. Projection spell would create an illusion of his choice. After stretching a bit, Rashid sat back down and crossed his legs, resting his hands palms up on each knee. Focusing his energy outwards, the outline of an ork started to form. Within seconds, the full body came. It was so real, that if Rashid didn't feel the pull of energy, he would have been convinced that the ork was standing right next to him.....after few moments of looking at the projection, the realization kicked in that no sound was being made...an easy fix with ghost sound spell he just learned, something he would remember to add later in future missions or battles.. The next spell would require the young mage to stand, and lots of concentration... So much so, that if he messed up, it could mess him up. Blasting energy is one of the strongest spells in a young mages repertoire. It would have to be fired in a straight line while the magic energy flowed. (1/2) Standing straight, Rashid fitted himself into a comfortable position, with his right hand out...focusing on the energy in his hand, he continued to let it build and build. Right up until it almost felt like it would spill over. If he let it, it would probably kick back and bite him in the a**..and with not only himself to worry about, but his teacher bellhop...he could not risk that. He would have to go with his gut and believe that this was right... "Blasting Energy!" He cried, watching the stream pour out from his hand, and going in a straight line...as it hit the ground a loud explosion erupted, blowing pieces of earth and whatever nearby around...kicking up alot of dust too he might add. After the energy was far from his hand, and his goal achieved...Rashid slumped to the ground.. more out of disbelief then exhaustion. He was not sure what Bellhop would say, but hopefully he would be impressed and not mad at him for taking the risks.. "I...I don't mean to be rude or anything sir...but after the next spells ill be learning..I think ill be ready to take my rank up test. I want to...I need to." His voice cracking at the last words, almost like he was pleading with the superior mage. In truth, Rashid needed to rank up as fast as possible...the demon inside him...told him that others would come looking..and rashid would need to be strong to defend himself for what was to come..That people looking to take the demon would kill him in the process.
" Alright...Lets get this together shall we? " He said, slapping his cheeks to get back into action. From the guidance of his parents, Rashid had already known a couple Earth skills...but a refresher wouldn't be so bad..would it? Standing back up, Rashid began to get back into the flow of things with his earth skills... First up was Earth & Stone Levitation...He couldn't lift anything like the size of cars like his parents could...and probably Bellhop..but he could do smaller things.. Hand out, he watched a melon shaped rock float his way...leaning down and jetting his fist out, he watched the rock fly away at high speeds. (1/1)
Making fluid hand and feet motions, like his parents taught him, he continued on with his proper breathing exercises as well...feeling loose enough, he stepped foreword and slammed his foot on the ground... feeling the ground beneath his foot break apart. Separating to form a slab of rock in a rectangle like pattern. Bending at the knees, while bringing his curled fists to his sides, he watched as the slab of rock came up off the ground...The rock shield would protect him from any incoming objects.. or could be used for a quick retaliation. Coming froward rather quickly, he slammed his knuckles into the slab of rock, he watched it go and slam into the ground...making dents in it. (1/1)
At this time, sweat beaded his forehead...he was using up alot of energy.. Mages by nature are not very physical, yet when you have the earth element and not very skilled with it yet, you tend to get dirty. But now was not the time to give up, not yet...he still had another skill or two to get used to with his element. Hands out, he brought the slab of rock up that he used for his primary defense skill, and slammed it into the ground. Focusing his magical energy in his feet and hands, he began to crawl up the slab of rock with no footholds. To the top he went, and back down the side, his hands this time not touching the rock...anyone else who had earth as an element would understand right off the bat that this was rock hanging. (1/1)
Last skill that he would be re-learning this day, would use the earth around the persons feet or hands and stick them to the ground. Back home, he had always enjoyed doing this to his parents, and they to him. The only way to get out of it was if they were strong enough to get out, which took some time...had the earth element, or water element to loosen up the ground. Putting both hands on the ground, Rashid watched the earth form around the slab of rock he had placed in the ground before, keeping it further in place..he delivered a kick and even tried to move the rock with earth levitation. Yet, it would not budge.. No matter what minor skill he used on it. Successful.. he thought..But only for a moment before he fell to the ground, exhausted and barely able to move. (1/1)

Earth & Stone Levitation Rank: E (Energy usage depends on size of rock) Description: The most common attack, involves levitating nearby earth and stone of numerous sizes and propelling them at foes by punching or kicking motions.
Rock shield Rank: D Description: A levitated slab of rock can also double as a shield when positioned in front of the user. This can also be performed as a slab or sheet of bedrock thrust out of the earth's surface. The shield can be hurled at the opponent for a quick retaliation.
Rock Hanging Rank D Description: By minor manipulation of magnetic fields you are able to stick onto the surface of rocks and any earth material. These things are rocks, concrete, crystals and metal. Per post of hanging is 10 energy.
Skill name: Earth Trap Rank: D Skill description: A technique that makes earth move around the opponent's feet, hardening to trap their feet. In order to break free, the target must have a strength of five or more, or use an explosive or a water elemental technique to weaken the earth's grip to get free. This can also be done on the target's hands if their on the ground as well
Blasting Energy Rank: C Description: It is a quick stream of energy and upon contact it creates a similar explosion to a detonating grenade. This blast cannot be directed thus once again it only flies in a straight line towards the target. It has a maximum range of 1km, i made it like that for your imagination.

Exhaustion deep in his bones, Rashid manged to sit up and look at Bellhop. " Im read to Rank up Sir...what...what must I do? " He asked pleadingly, wanting and needing to get stronger to survive for what was to come. The young mage knew it wasn't healthy to push himself so far and so fast, but neither was sitting or waiting for his demise. He would need not only his demons strength, but his own. The power of Kusana...the aid of others, the aid he would not get if he stayed like this.
Bellhop tilt his head to the side with his hand on his chin. "Hmmm... Let's see. What's a good challenge for you?..." He thought to himself. And just in qua, a pack of Charlies into the clearing. There were 5 total, growling at two long men in the open field. They reveal the sharp fangs, ready to ponce on the. "Oh! Excellent timing~<3 About you take care of these worlfys?" He act like there wasn't any special that wiled killing animals appeared in the city. He's seam offly come about as it seam things are going his way. "Use what you learn and don't get eaten!" He cheered the young mage.

C.h.a.r.l.i.e. Rank: C Strength/Speed: 1/2 Description and some abilities:Charlie is an acronym for creepy hairy angry rabid little intelligent enemy, charlies are pack monsters that usually attack in groups of three or four., but at their nesting sites can be in groups reaching hundreds. They are not at all powerful and can usually be one hitted by any combat skill, or even a well placed bonk with a shield. They have no abilities whatsoever, but can pile up if to many of them attack at once. They can be found ANYWHERE, and on any quest.

Rashid watched as the creatures entered the clearing. "Vermin.." He replied through clenched teeth. Seething with anger. Dealing with these things? Please... These little things always entered his family's property... He made short work of them with just a short sword.
Standing straight, Rashid charged foreword... gaining a surge of adrenalin that pushed any signs of weariness out of his body...Still a distance away from the creatures, he held out his hand and felt the magic energy flow..A stream of energy came foreword..landing inches from the group of charlies. Like a detonated grenade, an explosion went off... leaving three of the five charlies down and broken apart. There bodies in mangles heaps. Not wasting any time on the remaining two, Rashid surged foreword, and sank to the ground. " Mystic Impalement! " He shouted...as the energy transferred from his hand into the earth and formed into spikes..piercing the furry hide of the second to last charlie. Seeing the last of its group fall, the remaining charlie leaped at Rashid.. slamming into his chest and rolling with him on the ground... Rashid, stronger then an average human...but still having the strength of a mage managed to keep the teeth of the charlie away from him, but felt the sting of the vermin's claws rake his arms and face. "Ahh!" He cried out , forcing his knees under the animal to lift it off of his body...from one second to the next, Rashid pulled the lasting energy within himself and slammed it against the monsters chest. "Mystical impalement!" He shouted...watching as four spikes split the monster in half.. coating the young mage with the charlies gore..
Thumping his head to the ground, Rashid took long dragging breaths...ignoring the bruised, cut up state he was in....all he cared about was advancing. "Bellhop!" He shouted... using the last of his strength. "Was that good enough?" He asked..waiting for the mages reply.
Bellhope been away from the battle, only to watch the fight as the trainee was covered in the Charlies blood. "My~ I think so. You handle that pretty well beside being covered of them. Not really a mage way of getting yourself all messy." He rest his head on his hands, hunched over. "Anyways, yes. You are good enough to be Novice now. You are aloud to read and learn the C ranked spells to your heart desire. Hopefully then, you wont get eve a speck of dirt on you." She smiled wildly, bring a good mood to this. "You should take a rest. Wash yourself by the Creek and take your well earned rest at the Pod inn." He suggested him to do. The young trainee douse look very tired.

Right hand reaching up to the sky, Rashid smiled...He was finally getting what he wanted. " It might not be the mages way....but getting dirty has never bothered me.. Sometimes you have to for the sacrifices you may have to make, for what you want...no?" He said...Speaking more out loud then to Bellhop directly. He was exhausted, and slightly delirious. The energy he used from training, to the energy he spent fighting...wore the lad out..his adrenaline came to a screeching halt as he closed his eyes for just a second....
Seconds that had turned into around three or four hours give or take.... When he woke up, he was in the same position he fell asleep in, but completely well rested. Thats the thing with the Waktu... They only need about an hours sleep to be well again, yet..with all the energy he used up, he needed about three. Sitting up like nothing happened, he looked down at his cloths. Blood, guts....gore..from the charlies matted every inch. In his hair, human skin...everything. "No, no...This wont do." He muttered as he sat up and began to strip. Another thing with his kind, was they naturally wore no cloths... Nudity was not the same to them as it was to humans. Especially not to him. Bunched up in his hands, he walked over to the stream and ran his cloths through...scrubbing all the blood and what not out...Then, after he was done washing his cloths, Rashid hung them up to dry.. Jumping in the same stream and washing his human skin off...after it was passable, and convinced the general population wouldn't freak..he got out and started to put his cloths back on..Only a little damp, and would be dry in no time. Kusa has high heat during the day time and dried out just about anything..especially cloths.
Looking at bellhop like he didnt just go naked in front of him, he smiled... "Well...Im ready to get back to training. Do you have any books on you for higher spells?" He asked, looking at the sack that the older mage carried with him.
