The power items are so helpful though! Coupled with pokerus, thats 8 EVs in a stat. Plus, you don't have to search for specific pokemon to get the desired EVs.

Eh, 1pt or 2...doesn't matter... using the power items makes the tallying process easier on me...5 tallys per fight ^_^
5 sets per row, 6 rows.

Too bad it's nowhere near where I live, and I work all the time.
Plus, I'd get owned.

Aww poor Lin, there's none that you could even drive to and stay in a hotel or something?
Arc and myself are thinking about going =P
I dunno if my team is ready for that or not yet

Your team might benefit from some wall/stall/setup, LF, if you want to survive better in a tournament.
And I can't afford to go anywhere and take a break from work to go, sadly.

It's a practice thing, I think, LF.
Maybe I should make a guide on the most common roles in a competitive Pokémon tournament...

Perhaps, yes, it's boring; but it's a necessity to be able to plan.
With a team of all sweepers, there's no guarantee that you can switch into something that'll be type-weak without getting swept yourself, and training a Pokémon to be both offensively and defensively strong usually doesn't work well. The walls are there to absorb damage and set you up for your next sweep, or to deteriorate your opponent enough so you can better sweep as time passes on.

Well its not that I don't know how to stall, its more like what Arc said, its boring trying to setup a good wall. Sweeping is just what I do best, but I wonder...do you think adding a Light Screen/Reflect user to my team would help?
