"Well he sure doesn't care to hide his affection." Imogen siad with a lofty tone as she heard the door shut. "About the job from Scot I'll go over that later. I rather not say the same thing twice." Now getting up Imogen headed for the door. "I won't keep you like that oaf so I'll be off."

Jak grunted and jerked her head to the side, "Yeah...bye Imogen." She patted her checks and took a deep breath. 'Gees....I need to get a grip! Ok Jakie girl! Time to focus!' Jak ducked back under the mechine she'd been working on and continued from where she left off.
Sid hung his head, "I don't even know what to do! I can't lose her but I can't harm those men either. I'm lost. If only there was a way to appeal to the captain and get her to help me!" He sighed dramaticly, working Kat's sympathy in his favor. "Thanks to my poor temper earlier I've had myself labeled as a drunken mad man who can't be trusted...not that I expect to be helped, mind you! I can only hope." Sid knew his acting was starting to get cheesey but he couldn't help it. He knew somewhere in his gut that maybe kat believed him.

((Hehe XD At the sammich, or the beverage of choice? Lol!)) El Diablo Loco grabbed his Sandwhich, and his beer, and decided he would see how Kat's progress was coming along. He hummed a small and simple tune as he walked in the direction of the Brig.

((The sandwich WITH one of those drink choices! Yuck! I have a stomach ach just thinking about it. gonk ))
Once Jak finished the machine she was working on she pulled out a list that had been in a bag that was attached to her skirt. "Ok...done, done, working on it, done, done aannnnnddddd DONE! Ok so only one thing left and I'll be finished for the day! It feels good to get done early for a change! I didn't even have help this time!" She giggled to herself and put the list away. Gathering up her various tools and "shiny metal thingies" she went off to finish the last thing on her list.

"Well I am quite new... but I guess I could go and try and talk to her. Sit tight." Kat had no intention to talk to the captain, being an excellent actress herself she could see right through Sid's act. She left the brig in search of Diablo.

El Diablo Loco made it to one of the lower corridors when he saw Kat just coming up, "Well, well, well," he began with a smirk, "If it isn't my lovely little Kat!- So, what did you get out of him?"

"Well... I'm pretty sure he's lying..." Kat told Diablo everything that was said, "Sorry I couldn't get more... he's not an easy shell to crack..."

Sid was silent while he waited for Kat's return. Part of him hoped she had believed his story and the other said that he was full of it. The two voices kept arguing in his head.
'You ninny! You aren't drunk enough for this to work! You're going to get yourself killed!'
'Oh what do you know! She believed every word! Did you see the look on her face?!'
'Yeah, it’s called acting, something you don't know how to do!'
"Oh will you both shut up!" he growled under his breath. He drained the last of the wine and ate the last of the food. He wanted more wine.
Jak was leaning over with the top half of her body inside one of the larger control panels. She hummed merrily to herself as she worked. "I have a lovely bunch of co-co-nuts!" she sang.
As if on cue, somewhere deep inside the control panel she was poking around in, a pipe burst spraying her with the slippery solution she used to oil the gears. She sprang up out of the panel cursing and waving her arms in front of her face to keep the stuff from getting in her mouth. When it stopped she sputtered and spat angrily. She was covered from head to toe in the slippery goo and so was everything within twenty feet. "You have got to be ******** kidding me," she said in a monotone. "So much for being done early!"

"Get what Diablo?" Imogen was coming from the engine room when she heard the conversation that Diablo and Kat were having. She walked straight ahead her cane slightly in front of her to indicate when to stop. When it someone's foot she came to a halt.
"I hope you don't mean your treating our guest unkindly. Though I don't condone it nor do I care."

El Diablo Loco shrugged, and said to Imogen, "Proper information," he replied "And how I'm treating him is kind of my business- you've seen him. You know he doesn't deserve to be treated with 'respect'. The guy's a mess."

"I never really see things your way Diablo. Regardless I have notice that he is a least a drunk and a scoundrel. Did you find out anything else?" Imogen spoke with a very sarcastic tone as she stood facing the space between the both of them.

Kat explained Sid's sob story to Imogen and how he wanted her to talk to Imogen about it... she turned to Diablo and asked, "Who is this Esquerdo?"

"He is our next target," Imogen said bluntly. "I'll go and have another talk with our prisoner. Maybe if he thinks he is getting somewhere he will slip up. We don't have much time for by morning we should be in port."

((YES! Thank you, Pen! Time Skippage!)) El Diablo Loco looked at his pocket watch, "Night time already?. . . My, how time flies. . ." He saw the time was 6:00pm, then put his pocket watch away.
When Imogen didn't answer Kat, Diablo said, "Escudero was the jackass who attacked us several days back. It wasn't happy."
