Ranka only nodded once, though the sensation of his thumb stroking her skin made her feel a bit... better. She understood the logic as to why, though she still held some doubts. But since her expression was as unreadable as ever, it was easy to hide it.
They passed a few red roses, her mind processing what it often was associated with. Love. Though, as they passed some blue ones, she had to take pause, that was not a natural color for roses. Beautiful, but not natural. She touched a hand underneath the blossom much like she had before with the white one, examining it. Not fake, real. Alive. Spliced? Possible. Genetically altered? Also possible. Spell to give off effect? Hmmm.... probably most likely. "Indeed. Living creatures enjoy such things of beauty. Besides the fact they also create oxygen with which you breath." Oh... She looked up to him, wondering if he had realized she didn't need to breath it in order to survive.
Sliding her hand away from the blue rose, she cleared her mind and refocused upon what he said. It was? She wasn't sure if she liked them though. It was more like she was....neutral. She wasn't about to correct him though, it was probably best to allow him such illusions. And it was such a small point, no need to correct it. Hmm.... She'd have to remember that. At this point, she didn't feel a need to have a hobby so it was good it was not necessary. "I am content as I am." She concluded, looking up to him with her one eye.

While everyone was off enjoying their time outdoors, Sheryl was stuck in bed staring at.... Note to self, don't try to narrate your life. Shaking her head, her eye had fully healed and her leg was at least just broken as opposed to shattered. Her side wasn't a gaping hole of missing flesh, and appeared more normal. She made bandages of healing energy around the area, binding her leg with the same stuff. "I can't stay in here." It was going to drive her bonkers.
She was steadily processing all the spirits that were floating about outside, but right now she was so.... tired. Tired of doing this job while healing herself. She needed a break. Even if it were brief. Brushing her hair back in it's normal style, she glanced up and sighed heavily. Elders forgive me. I hope you understand. "We do. Some of us... apologize for our harshness. It was deemed necessary by most. Here, a little help from us." With that, her leg was healed, blinking as a faint smile rose to her lips. She knew that voice. Thank you Shiara.
She got ready, albeit a bit slower than she normally would have, smiling as Sayuri came flying in the window as she got dressed. "Hey there little one. How are you?" She spoke to the small dragon with a smile, nuzzling noses with it. Standing up slowly, she was glad the bandages only allowed her to feel a sort of tingling sensation rather than the blinding pain that would have otherwise followed it. She headed outside, but instead up to the roof. She realized there was a fence all around, but for the moment it didn't really matter. As she opened the door, she glanced out, taking a deep breath of the fresh air. Oh that was good... That was so good. Sayuri grew in size, soon standing on the roof with her. She did not pay attention to anyone else on other roof tops. They did not matter right now to her. She chatted with her pet and her friend, perching on top of the little building where the stairs came out, bending and using her previously shattered leg.

Elly sniffed a bit and continued to hug him, her face pressed into his shirt so it would hide the redness and tears would hopefully stop. "O-okay, I won't cry anymore I-I promise. I just wish I would have kicked their asses instead, I dont like when people are close to my ears, it's my weakness...... oops..." she told him and changed her tone when she told him she wanted to beat the guys from before. She then covered her mouth and blushed when she admitted her weakness. She glanced around before finding a jewlery shop and running over to it and acting as though she never said anything, admiring the jewels and overly priced items. Whenever Tristan came closer she would escape soon to other shops to avoid confrontation about her secret, knowing that somehow, somewhere at sometime, he would use it against her. 'damn it' she thought as she blushed while looking at some animals in a pet shop, petting the kitties and puppies.

Robert hopped off of the tree branch after dozing off for a while. Things were almost as quiet as they were at the monastery. "Man, no one's even around here. So much for socializing, huh Rena?" Robert spoke. The little demon fox churred as she walked alongside the kitsune.
As Robert headed towards the dorms, he saw something like a dragon on the rooftop. This spurred a bit of curiosity and interest in the kitsune's mind. "Looks like we aren't the only mythological creatures here. Let's go and say hi." Robert spoke with a playful tone of interest in his voice. The little two tailed fox churred cutely with a nod.
Rena erupted into a ball of flame as she grew into the size of a horse, wisps of flame rippling around her ankles. Hopping upon the large two-tailed, saberetooth-fanged fox, Robert rode Rena as she flew up to the rooftop and landed a short distance away from the dragon. Robert got off of Rena as she returned to her smaller, cuter self. The little fox perched herself upon Robert's shoulder. "Wow, a real dragon. That's pretty cool." Robert spoke as his tail swished behind him.

(( I hate to be a nag Shiny, but don't forget about To be of Royalty. xP )) Seeing how she was content not to move, Tristan felt he had made the right decision which was always a comfort. He chuckled again and shook his head, oh she was so silly. "I don't worry about you crying, there's nothing wrong with crying. And I don't mind beating up guys who-" He started to comment, blinking as she seemed to have revealed something she shouldn't have. As she danced away, he was left a bit... confused. Sighing, he put his hands on his hips, watching as she frittered from store to store. He had no intention of inquiring further about this weakness of hers. Everyone had one, it wasn't a crime.
Vira is the exact same way. But a helluva lot worse about it. This made him lower his head for a moment, hands lowering to his side as he started at a slower pace after her. You surround yourself with the crazy ones Tristan. It can't be healthy. He shrugged to himself, observing as Elly stopped at a pet shop. "But I don't care." He mumbled to himself, sliding one hand into his pocket as he came up to the pet shop. He didn't stand too close to her, just on another side of where the kittens and puppies were.
"They are adorable, aren't they? My mom always had a weakness for young of any animal. Hell, it could have been a panther and she would find it adorable and ask dad if we could keep it. He'd always laugh and say no. Though, I can tell you we still came home with a puppy unexpectedly on a couple of occasions." He smiled and looked over to her, bending down to scratch behind one of the puppies heads. They were darling. Cielo would be jealous methinks. Chuckling to himself, he had to brush some of his hair aside, straightening up slowly.

Sayuri nudged Sheryl's hand as she winced in pain at her side, almost forgetting to keep healing that. Or else it was the nerves regrowing. "Guess it was too much to hope that I wouldn't have to feel that eh?" She laughed, her hand sliding along the deep fiery red scales. So smooth... As her friend grew more alert, it made her blink, taking notice of two living beings approaching, remaining at her perch for the moment. She was mostly hidden from view due to her dragons larger size. Though not too big, otherwise she'd crush in the roof. That was an amusing picture.
Hearing a voice, it made Sheryl chuckle to herself, glancing past Sayuri's magestic head. Jumping down, she landed lightly on her feet without as much as a sound, stroking her friends chest since she was alert and wary. It's ok. They don't seem to mean harm. She walked around to Sayuri's other side, looking at this kitsune boy with his little friend. "She is beautiful, isn't she? Careful though, she can be rather... protective. Almost bit a mans arm off once before I stopped her." She called as she came into view, the dragon lowering her head so her snout came around Sheryl's body, nudging under her hand as if to say she would do no such thing.
Smiling, she laughed a little, placing a hand at her wounded side since it still was a bit tender to laugh. "She won't harm you now though, I promise." With that, Sayuri shrunk further to the size of an Irish Wolfound, sitting calmly at her friends side. "Are you new here?" She asked, realizing it was a rather blunt question, but she didn't see the point of beating around the bush.(( I just thought I'd throw in a reference picture to show how big she was. ))

((Oh, I know how big they are. Had to groom one once)) Robert looked over to the female that accompanied the dragon. "It's fine, I'm used to snappy critters." he jested. "But yeah, she is gorgeous. Rena here's got her beat in cuteness though. And Rena can be just as protective of me, so I know how it is." he spoke before scritching the little demon fox's chin. before returning his attention back to the lady before him. While the dragon was surely impressive, Rena was his closest friend who wasn't a monk and had an equal desire for adventure and penchant for mischief. "Yeah, I just arrived today. Got my room, put all my stuff away, just gotta wait for the class schedule." Robert replied with a pleasant smile upon his face. "I'm Robert. And this little cutie is my companion Rena." He spoke in a pleasant tone of voice as his tail lazily swayed back and forth. "So, what's this place normally like? Exciting, boring? Mix of both?" the kitsune asked. If anything he was curious of what he had to look forward to.

(( Oh my. O.o Bet that was interesting. )) Sheryl smiled, glancing to his little friend on his shoulder. She was darling. Though, she felt Sayuri's tail curl the other direction, a sign of annoyance that she knew. "I can guess as much. She is adorable." She commented, her blue eyes taking in the man in front of her. She hadn't seen many kitsunes over the years. It was always pleasant to see them though. Don't worry Sayuri, you are still the cutest to me. She smirked, her eyes drawn as she felt her companion grow small like normal and perch on her shoulder. She scratched her neck gently, chuckling a little as she heard the almost clicking growl sort of sound that meant she was happy.
Ah, so a new student indeed. "Ah, well, welcome to Estelle then. I'm also new for this year." She nodded her head to him, her one rib finally finished regrowing which was a slight pain. Oi. This would be interesting tomorrow. "I'm Sheryl, and this is Sayuri. A pleasure to meet you both." Her smile was sweet, blinking as he asked what the academy was like. She sighed and touched a finger to her lips, glancing to either side of the dorm building beneath them. "Well.... You missed a lot of excitement yesterday. It's why there are no classes today. I would have to say it's a mix of both. Some of the teachers are interesting, others not so much so. I suppose it depends what you are here for." She answered with a light shrug, Sayuri adjusting slightly as she did so.

His parents... he hardly talked about his parents before, only the bad stuff that had happened to them, which was always a hard and sad thing to talk about. At the time, Elly had a cat in her lap, its eyes closed and the sound of it purring in her lap content as any cat could be at the moment. She pet it and thought about his parents. She was just sad that her parents never really called and here, Tristan and Vira both had no parents at all. It was very sad to talk about indeed. "What were your parents like? I want to hear more about them and how they used to be," she requested, looking up at him and putting the cat down, its eyes looking up at Elly like she disturbed him and that now she would feel its wrath... when he woke up again.
Elly stood up and brushed the hair off and then joined him where he was standing, looking up at him and smiling. Sook his hand and started to walk with him in the direction of a small park not too far from the shopping district. It was much more fun to walk and talk rather than sit in a bustling shopping area. It seemed so obvious that she was thinking on something that was less then happy. Memories and feelings that had a bit of a depressing effect always seemed to dull a happy mood. He could understand it though. In a way. Hyunn had a family, but he'd also left them behind. He remember times when he was younger that he had made several comments and inward desires of having different parents. Of course now he would have taken those comments back, but you couldn't change what was in the past. You could only live with it.
He didn't know who her parents might have been, or why she had never known them. That would be a part of her life that only she would be able to deal with. It seemed though, as if that hole, that part of her life that was missing was a part she deeply wanted. Hyunn couldn't give her parents, but he could try to be a good friend to her. Despite his inital shallow thoughts, he was beginning to understand and getting to know Vira better now. Even if not everything were as happy as can be. Nothing ever could be though. Rather then pressing on the matter, he simply stood next to her in silence. He wasn't really sure what to tell her. He was certain there was a reason for her parents not keeping her, there was always a reason behind every action.
There she went again, pulling up a better attitude to hide that sorrow. Hyunn's eyes fell upon Vira as she laughed, a smile slowly sneaking into her lips. A person didn't always have to be fulll of joy every second of the day. It was something he wanted to tell her, but thought it better not to. A bit of friendly advice could turn into something that only worsened the matter. He found that out once before. "It's not problem, really." He replied, a bit hesitant to say anything on the previous matter she'd been speaking of. When Vira quickly changed topics, Hyunn took a second to debate whether or not he should let the whole parent topic fade. He couldn't force her to think on anything she didn't want to. Better to let her steer the conversation. "I bet it'd be a lot more fun then anything I could do from up here," he whispered, a playful smirk changing his features. "I'm sure on a hot day none of them would really mind either. It's not like any of us can one could go swimming around here. Might add a bit of fun into the day, even if it might be a little....mischevious."

The whole prospect of having a hobby or occupy their time with made Seiji think back on what he might have done as a child. If he wasn't sparring or learning with his teachers, he was usually out doors doing something. It was rare for him to have spare time though. His teachers were with him often, teaching a lesson of some sort. It might have seemed like a lot of stress to some, but they always made sure not to overwork the ones they taught. It made it easier if the lesson was a little more leanient on some days.
Seiji noticed Ranka looking to the roses once more, wondering what was on her mind. She definitely seemed interested in them. It was good she at least found something to occupy her attention for a few moments. Seiji never found himself looking at plants for too long. He could enjoy their beauty, but he didn't find them as interesting as some. Ranka's words distracted his thoughts, trying to figure out what she'd meant by it. The oxygen part hadn't confused him so much. He knew that she was created differently, she'd mentioned so herself several times. Though the comment of beauty did. Did Ranka enjoy things like that? Surely she understood the meaning of it, though did she experience such feelings as well? He couldn't be sure, she rarely showed emotion. Expression was one thing, but emotion was another.
The thought still bothered Seiji for a few more moments as the two of them started forward once more. As they moved away from the blue roses, Seiji's eyes fell upon his girlfriend, the word itself sounding a little odd to him. Of course he was attracted to her. He had just never imagined himself having a relationship like this. She had said she liked him as well, though in what manner? They had shared kisses, but if she couldn't understand, or experience beauty in the same manner he could, then what caused that attraction for her? "Mmhm. Well, I'm sure if there is something for you, you'll find it. It just takes time sometimes." He thought to himself for another moment before speaking again. "Ranka...I was just wondering. Do you feel the appreciation for things of beauty? Or are the flowers just another...object to you?"

Robert smiled lightly? "I did? man, just my luck. Ah well, if excitement happens once in an area, I'm sure it's bound to happen again, maybe in a different manner. Once can only hope huh?" he spoke with a pleasant yet jestful tone of voice. He looked then fully at both the small dragon and Sheryl. "Pleasure to meet you both. I'm actually hoping for some of the boring teachers, maybe one or two. It makes things more fun to try out some tried and true stuff on bore-hogs." he spoke before pulling out a small whoopie cushion from his pocket. "I'm a sort of playful prankster. Then again, most all of my kind are. It's sort of a natural thing, even if it does get me into trouble." he chuckled before tucking it back in his pocket. "So, considering this is a place of people with powers that normal beings don't have, what's yours, aside from having a cute resizable dragon?" he asked in a pleasant tone, his ears twitching a bit.

Tristan scratched underneath one puppies excited chin, chuckling at how it yipped and licked his fingers. The question caught him off-guard, blinking as he had to stop and think that over. His parents.... That wound still hurt, but not as much so. Maybe it was because he got to see them when he was... dead. Still an alien thought. Inwardly he shook his head a bit, he would never get used to that, his hand giving hers a small squeeze to show that he had heard and he was simply thinking.
"Well.... My mom was the daughter of a wealthy company's CEO and brilliant with innovations for the company. So the fact she married my dad who was what her father called a 'bum' was less than accepted. And his family was less than pleased he had married a human. As you can imagine, family reunions were awkward." He started with an ironic chuckle, still bitter towards them. He still had to look up this woman who seemed to be his mothers sister, not mentioning it since he still had to confirm if he was right or wrong. He walked with her, glancing up to the trees with a light sigh. "She was beautiful. Compassionate, headstrong, fiery, terrifying when she was angry, and one of the most gentle people you'd ever meet. Oh, and she was rather impulsive. Dad always had to reel her in on some of her ideas. Not too many otherwise she'd get depressed." His voice grew soft and distant, spotting a blossoming orange tree.
"What about your parents Elly? You never really talk about them much." He asked, wanting to allow her to talk about her own family rather than have him end dominating the conversation.

He had seen. Vira could see it in his eyes. It was silly for her to be so afraid, but it had been ingrained into her body and soul. Never show weakness. Didn't matter who. Sometimes they wore a pleasant face. You are an idiot Vira. She glanced down below again, sighing as she instead decided to have the water mist up instead around them, her finger drawing shapes absentmindedly. She looked up to him, seeing the smirk on his lips. "It probably would. But I dunno, not quite in me to commit such an act." She mused aloud, taking a moment to mull over what he said. A hot day hm?
Though, she blinked and furrowed her brows, looking up to him. "But there's a pool. Then again, that would get crowded fast if it's hot huh?" She worked her hands around the mist in front of her, fashioning them into a seashell she had seen from pictures in books she had read here. It made her smile a bit. Yes... a perfect distraction. She felt the anxiety and pains fading away, pushing her butt off the edge of the roof. A wind caught her, soaring up to him from where she had been.
"So anything you want to do? I'm not used to having company." She asked, hovering in front of him, her hands clasped behind her back.

Elly smiled as Tristan talked. It was great that he had such fond memories of his parents like that. She knew it must have been tough to talk about them while they were gone, but this would have come up against sometime and well, now he's ready.
Now he asked about her parents, something she never reall had the chance to talk about with anyone before. She looked around at all the people and the scenery before answering him. "Well, my mother taught me everything I know about light elemental arts and healing people. My father is a darkness elemental so he taught Bobby everything he knew. My mother is very kind and friendly with people and creatures alike. My father is a rather... stern guy, someone that doesn't like failure, even though he is a family kind of guy. When I accidentally killed Bobby, he stopped talking to me because Bobby was like a mini him, his offspring of himself. I was half plus I couldn't control my darkness and he was the one who sent me to Estelle to control them. He was sad and gave me sympathy, but deep down I can still sense how ashamed he was of me killing Bobby." She told him and smiled up at him with her answer, picking a leaf from the ground and folding it over in different ways. "You're probably wondering how I can be so calm and happy, knowing that my father thinks of me that way, but it's different for me. I want to get a long with my father and be like how we used to be, but he needs to put in effort also. Plus i'm of light and it drives out bad thoughts so there's no way to run from it, hehe."
