"Wow..." Arianna sighed, looking out at the lake. A snowy white owl came from the castle and perched on Arianna's shoulder, pecking her head gently but urgently. "What is it, sn---OHMIGOSH! I can't believe I forgot...Sorry, I have to go...no time to explain!" She cried, jumping up and running off.

"Well then that's probably why you didn't sense the centaur. You know its kind of chilly out here." Lilly said pulling her feet out of the water. She was putting her shoes on when an owl landed at her feet with a letter attached.

"No I sensed it, I just didn't recognize it. It didn't feel like a horse or a human, like I thought it would.I get used to having this sense, so I usually ignore it."She replied, not noticing an owl had just landed

Lilly untied the letter and the owl flew off immediately. "It's address to me. I hope it's not Dad again." She said as she opened it slowly. She skimmed to the bottome to find out who it was from and just about jumped out of skin with excitment. "Carmen it's... it's from my brother." She said with tears in her eyes.

Carmen looked worriedly at lilly and quickly got up onto her knees and went over to her friend.

Lilly quickly read the letter and then handed it to Carmen. "Dear Lilly
I dare say that you are very worried about me but I am fine. I will be getting married next month right before your birthday. I wish you could be there but I know it is impossible. I am still in the states and I understand mom will be coming soon too. I can't say much on that subject as I have been asked not to by mum. I love you Lilly and don't worry everything in the end will work out. Hold your head up high and remember always that you are loved."

Lilly closed the letter and hugged it to her. "Oh, I wish I could be at the wedding." She turned to Carmen with a huge grin on her face. "He fell in love with a muggle girl. She freaked when she found out he was a wizard but she loved him so much..." Lilly stopped and frowned. "That's when Dad kicked him out though. I wonder why mom's returning to the states. It must be job related."
