"My name? Is that really important?" Takara answered with a smug grin as Eveel continued to give a low growl. "And the reason why I'm here? Mortals really are picky and rush far too much. Fine, I'll tell you. My name is Vincent. I'm a god of the forge. I built the heavans and hells and I even created these little stones. I killed another god so I was sentenced to be trapped. I've been trapped for so long, it's just pathetic and unfair. So after years I've been able to crack it and reach out. Though I can't actually take form I can enter someone's body and take control. All that I can do is manipulate from there. My reason for starting this war is for the jewels. The jewels are my key to escaping my prison, and once I have all four I can release myself."

'Over my dead body.' Domicus stated in a deadly voice, even though Tamuril and Cedric couldn't hear it.

"Your lover sends her regards." Takara told Tamuril as she continued to smirk. "She can't give them to you herself since she's trapped. Now she knows what it feels like to locked away inside a prison. The only difference between her's and mine is that she'll never get out. Even after this body is destroyed I'll be sure that she goes strait to the darkest reaches of hell and chained away. How does that sound to you? I'll be sure that you and Cedric join her. Actually no, you'll both just go to hell in your own places where you'll be deprived of any contact whatsoever."

Tamuril's hand clenched in a fist of rage. Damn that Vincent. How dare he do this to Takara, he would pay for sure. That damn b*****d though, there was nothing Tamuril could do either. He'd be hurting Takara if he struck her, and then she'd never be able to be brought back. All he could do was hope, hope that somehow she could be brought back. Perhaps Domicus and Alexia could do something? It was possible, but how likely was it? They havn't done so so far.

His body suddenly shook violently. The feeling was getting stronger, more defined. Although he still couldn't tell what it was, it was something he would probably start to investigate if it continued or grew stronger. His blades pulsed as they sensed the presence, it must be something for them to react. He would wait out for a bit longer before acting.

Cedric flinched. "Killed another God? Who was it?" His knuckles were white from the tense grip on the handle. He was using all his will not to just draw it and strike down Takara. Why, dammit, why? Why must I be like this? The threats were empty to Cedric. He would welcome death and anything in the afterlife openly. He feared nothing.

He looked up at Liam. "No, not really. It's just something is amiss in the air." He said as he looked back towards the castle. "I may have to depart company for a bit, I don't know. I would like to continue this conversation later if I do have to leave." He said looking back to the horizon.

"Listen, you bastardly God. I will not give in to any provocations you put forth, so I would prefer if you just shut up. Once I have you alone, I will kill you, and finish my duties. Then someone else can take my place and I can finally rest. The longer you play coward, the longer people have to suffer. Why is it that God of the Forge wishes to bring pain upon others? Why is it that a supposedly perfect being is greedy?" His grip on the handle remained firm, but he had no intentions of drawing the sword.

Liam nodded, not feeling anything strange in the air but knowing that there were people who could feel those kind of things. "Sure thing."

-----

"Oh please, and why should I obey you?" Takara retorted as she rolled her eyes at Cedric. "And I'm not playing coward. As far as I'm conscerned if taking over a body is the only way that I can escape then it's what I'm going to do. I'm not a coward. Heh, nitwit."

Takara reached up, one hand wrapping around the three jewels that hung around her throat. Her eyes rolled back up to look at Cedric and Tamuril with yet another smirk drawing on her lips. "Maybe I'll take control over both of you, as well. It shouldn't be too hard.... Now then, I'd like for both of you to leave so I can get on with my day. Just standing there isn't going to do any good. Just face it: Unless you want Queen Takara to die and for Trusar to fall along with her there's absolutely nothing that either of you can do."

Vincent turned away, then felt something warm on Takara's chest. When he looked down he saw that the two jewels, air and fire, were letting off energy that only Takara herself and her body could feel. She rolled her eyes again, thinking about how stupid Alexia and Domi-

"...What?" Takara randomly stated as she turned back around and looked around herself. She nearly tripped, not used to the shoes that were on her feet. Then she actually reached up and poked her breasts as if to check if they were real. "No! Damn it all! Look at this, I've got boobs! My first day of real freedom and I'm a woman. I'm Domicus the god of war for Hosvanji's sake! Boobs, I've got boobs! Why me?"

'Stop touching the Queen's body you nincompoop.' Alexia snapped, Domicus lowering Takara's hands in reaction and then shaking her head.

Cedric glared and was contemplating actually striking her down, when the sudden change occurred. Surprise seemed to envelope Takara. When she started complaining about breasts, it was obvious something was different, and he began to relax. It couldn't still be Vincent. It was Domicus! His grip strengthened on the weapon.

"Domicus! I have a bone to pick with you and that damned Alexia!"

Takara turned her head and looked back at Cedric, her shoulders lowering. "More fuss? Eesh."

'He's probably angry that you told the queen his name.' Alexia stated, Domicus shaking Takara's head. He looked around, trying to figure out where to sit down. He had no idea how to walk in shoes like these. So he bent down and took off her shoes, wriggling her toes and then walking over to a chair that was close by. 'Domicus, listen to me or else you'll be in big trouble too!'

"I'm listening. Just keep your dress on woman." Takara replied to Alexia as she looked down at the dress she was wearing. Then her eyes moved to Cedric, which was when he sighed and leaned back in the chair in a rather manly manner which looked strange with Takara's body. It was already bad enough that he spoke in a rough voice, so having Takara's womanly voice wasn't really mixing well with his usual tone. "Hey, don't offend my wife Cedric. If you want someone to blame about your name being told then blame me. Alexia didn't say anything about you. Besides, there wasn't a point to me keeping it under wraps to the queen. She'd already found the castle's memory book. The memory book records absolutely everything important that happens in the history of Trusar, well, the Trusarian royal family's. Since you killed the king of Trusar it would have been recorded in the book. And the book tells no lies, so in Joeseph's history your name has been written in as his killer as clear as everything else written in the book. She read the book right after Alexia and I spoke to her, so there would've been no point in keeping it back. And if you hadn't wanted your name to pop up you shouldn't have directly killed the king yourself. 'Course that's just my point of view.... Mortals can be so complicated...."

'Or maybe you're just stupid?'

"Bah...." Domicus retorted as he folded Takara's arms in a stubborn way. "I'm not stupid, woman! Hn...."

Cedric grunted. "You are the stupidest God I have ever met in all my existence..." Then he emitted a noiseless sigh. "If you had half the sense in you, you would remember, dammit, that being nameless and hidden is a rule in my world. Just having this conversation is messing up my entirety. Hosvanji's rules, dammit! Takara at least had the sense to keep it quiet, but now there are two other mortals that have my name and one of them is your damn fault! You are an idiot!"
PostPosted: Wed Mar 22, 2006 2:07 pm

Takara simply shrugged, sitting up more in the chair since she was beginning to slip. "I still don't see a point."

'Domicus, let me take over Takara's body. You're doing a terrible job.'

"Whatever you want." Domicus answered as he closed Takara's eyes, and when they reopened, Alexia was in control. She could hear Domicus mutter something as he withdrew but just ignored it, sitting up and looking up at Cedric. Takara's body would be extremely drained of energy, and who in the world knew how long her body would need to rest, but it was better that Alexia was in control rather than her husband.

"You'll have to forgive Domicus. He's the god of war, so his mind really only works on battle tactics and he's one of those people who thinks that whatever he thinks is right." Alexia stated in a smooth voice as she got up from the chair and walked up towards Cedric. Once she was close enough she stopped, linking Takara's hands in front of herself. "Now exactly who are these other mortals who know your name?" When she spoke again, it was clear that Domicus was going to be in trouble, at least with Alexia. "Domicus never told me about anyone else knowing your name. Oh, and I will try to fix the memory book so your name won't show up. It might not be possible though, the book was made before you were, so making the book do what I want might not work. The book only does one thing and changing that is nearly impossible, if not impossible, since it's been doing the same thing over thousands of years. Only destroying it would probably fix your problem, and that would only bring ill."

Cedric sighed as the transfer was occuring. These Gods were tiring him to no end. "Both of those mortals are standing in the room this very instant," he replied calmly. "Takara and Tamuril. And before you start trying to defend them, I would like to simply state that rules are rules and your husband has broken them. The book is excusable. His actions are not." He paused, and finally decided to vent. He had kept his mouth shut and ideas pent up long enough.

"In addition, all of you are irritating the hell out of me. All of you." He glanced briefly at Tamuril. "You Immortals, though. You are the worst. Especially that idiotic husband of yours. I cannot even begin to understand why Hosvanji trusted you two so much..." He averted his eyes to the window and the forests beyond Trusar's capital.

Alexia just listened to Cedric, not seeming to be bothered by his words. "We have our own purposes and reasons. And of course Domicus should not be excused for what he has done, that is a fact that remains firm." Alexia wouldn't stop Cedric from ranting. She knew his personality and who he was, after all, she'd created him just like every other living thing on the earth. "Domicus just doesn't quite get why he shouldn't have revealed your name if the queen would have seen it. If there had been no book then I swear to you that he would have never even revealed even the smallest bit of your name." Alexia doubted that Cedric would even care about what she was saying, but she spoke it even so. "Maybe you do not understand why Hosvanji trusted us, but perhaps you should take the fact that he trusted us and let it guide you from there."

Now that Alexia was free from her prison she could feel all of the balances in the air that had come undone. All that precious time she'd spent working to create a world of beautiful and peace.... Vincent had created the earth and rocks, and Alexia had created the plants and animals and everything else that had life. Vincent was the creator of all things that were dead, while she was the creator of life. What he built she added onto. But that Vincent she knew what gone. He'd been lost to wanting more power and had become so greedy. She could remember Domicus trying to reason with Vincent, but it hadn't worked just as they'd all known it wouldn't. Domicus, the god of war and fire. He certainly didn't seem very bright. It was shocking what came out of him when it came to battle and tactics. Sometimes it just didn't make sense, but in a way, it did. Fire could either be small, which was the side of Domicus that the god had just shown to Cedric and Tamuril. But fire could also be incredibly powerful and tear up absolutely everything. When Domicus changed into a raging infurno.... That was the true god of war. The one who could even Vincent feel fear.

Things just used to be so... good. Now it appeared not to be so. But that was also expected after what had happened over the years. At least for Alexia.

He listened impatiently to everything she said, and agreed to most of it, if not all. Still, he felt a need to vent his anger. It was coming under control, though, and it could wait. "Perhaps, but with the way he has acted, I do not know if I want to. Such forgetfulness... It's rediculous. Takara's knowledge of my name is understood, but Tamuril would not have been so keen if Domicus hadn't blurted it out in the midst of the conversation we were just carrying a few minutes ago."

Then Cedric sighed for the umpteenth time, trying to relax himself. Of course, it did no good, but it was better than just staying bottled up. He needed something to fight. He needed something to kill. It was a side of himself that he hated, but it had to be sated or he became entirely impatient and irrational. Speaking with him in such a condition was impossible and in most cases suicidal.
