NeoPaladinOfLight xx__CBK__xx After reading what's going down between Nexus and Ageha, I've realized that Nexus and I wouldn't get along.
At all.
I'd have an undying desire to set him on fire.
: D Don't hate what you can't take. talk2hand Best learn to appreciate. cool Anyway, that's what I go for. Nexus is supposed to be the dude who no one likes. He will speak his mind, knowing full well that others won't like it, and when they don't back down, like say for instance, someone agrees with him, he'll get confused. It's part of the complex I got goin' for him. He's a loner, and tries his best to stay alone. Why? Well, it's all he knows, and he hates change. So to keep things consistent, he puts up these barriers that keep people out, such as rudeness, bluntness, irritation, you name it. He sorta likes people not liking him. It--in some twisted, crazy way--inflates his ego. He's getting exactly what he wants. Of course that whole thing deflates and collapses around girls, because he's got that whole shy thing. The only reason he's not doin' it with Ageha is because he honestly thinks she's eight years old. She's a kid to him. Now that Nexus has officially "lost his light," I'm trying to figure out the best way to play this in a way that will develop him. You know, have him stay the same, except grow. I might have him invoke that "I need to fight" urge he grew out of. Yeah, it'd be nice to bring that back. Take his mind off of things. Oh, maybe I can make him take that fighting urge to the next level. Maybe--in his enlightenment--he can drop the whole "I don't kill thing" and actually go through with it. Ooh, that'd be somethin' crazy. Wow. I can't even think of what that stuff would do to his head. I need to think about this. Eh, explanations don't change anything. I'd just kick 'im where the sun don't shine and be done with it.

Aero just came back froma reunion and a wedding. Aero is exhausted.
And that sounds like a good plan Neo. Ageha's attention is to be swept away very soon.

stressed OK! Now I'm gonna get personal! You don't know me! How can you be the judge if anyone is lame or not!? For you to say that with no idea of who we really are, you must have thought about yourself when you said that! In other words, you think you're lame, and just want to make yourself feel better! scream

The point is for him to be a completely overused stereotype? Eh, I can appreciate that. Stereotypes are never actually what a real person is like{in my experience}. And he's your character, so it's none of my business. Just pointing out what I think.
@Arim;; I KNOW you didn't just call me lame and immature. Because then we'd have a problem.
@Blue;; Whoa there buddy, we're all just messing with each other{I think}. It's different to not like someone's character and an actual person. Neo's just trying to act all cool. It's best to ignore him when he gets like that. c:

That's rather insulting.
What makes you think my reality is different that normal?
What IS normal anyway?
Besides, being different is way more fun.

And he's your character, so it's none of my business. Just pointing out what I think. Well, on the surface, every character is a "completely overused stereotype." There are only so many archetypes that can people can actually write about. Your character for instance isn't all that creative either. I mean, the whole "I'm a sassy girl who only helps out the side that's most convenient for me" has been done time and time again, which is okay. It's not about creating a completely original character, it's about writing that character in a good way, regardless of how many times it's been done before. I chose the archetype for Nexus because that's the one I can write for the easiest. For this RP, he has a background that explains his character, the posts I make for him further develop him. His interactions with people show what and how he is at the certain point in time. Blah, blah, blah. You see what I'm sayin'? For you to like him or not is completely up to you. The fact that you don't proves that what I'm tryin' to do for Nexus is working. That aside... "Act cool?" Please! I'm the very definition of cool. cool
