Kobra peered into the palm of his hand, not believing her luck. Then she looked up into the Ryera's eyes, making sure it was not a joke.
The young blonde nodded approvingly, "This payment will do fine. I will see to the poisoned soldiers right away." She took the jewel from his hand like it was a coin, and placed it in a small pocket on her wristband. With a bow, she turned and left.
***
It had been hours now, and all of the dead soldiers had been moved to a hole where they were to be buried. The poisoned soldiers had been cured. Some quickly, and some painfully slowly. Kobra was astonished at how many different kinds of poisons were used on these soldiers, how many mixes she had not thought of using at all before. She had extracted all of the more rare and unknown poisons she had gotten from some of the soldiers, while curing some others.
The day was dark now, and temperatures dropped very lowly. In her human form, the Valtera shivered. She was not wearing much, nor could she get more clothes. Making sure nobody was looking, Kobra turned herself into a desert snake, adjusting to the temperature quickly.((Someone may have seen her shapeshift though razz ^^))

Streak felt forced to look Issildia in the eyes. "I.....I.....I don't know what you are talking about." Streak said. He didn't know how much longer he could cope without saying something.

Streak Lightening Streak felt forced to look Issildia in the eyes. "I.....I.....I don't know what you are talking about." Streak said. He didn't know how much longer he could cope without saying something. Issilda noted the stutter of his words and her voice grew colder..."Streak...What did you do?" she demanded her voice low and threatening. "I saw to it that you were brought back from the realm of the Dead...the least you can do it tell me the truth...now what are you not telling me?!"

Streak mumbled something under his breath. He looked at the ground. He didn't dare look Issildia in the eyes even. The only audiable words in his mumbling were 'trick' and 'alliance'.

Issildia's eyes flared as her blade raised slightly. "When I said that I could send you back to the realm of the dead I was not lying Streak, now tell me exactly what you did, at least have the courage to tell me."

"I...Well....When I was looking for revenge against your father he showed me something. He........he.......he said my parents fought for him, not Anier.....that they were spies. He said my father used to lead the Tel'Domeduathea. He th......then told me that.........that.....that......you killed them. I was angry and in my anger I did something I regret. I......I......I......I took me father's place." Streak cried out. After he'd said it he flinched away from Issildia a bit.

Kobra had slithered through the desert, trying to find a place to sleep, when she heard their voices. Her forked tongue flicked in and out as she watched them with reptilian eyes. A hissing voice emitted from her small, but deadly form.
"I told you he was not telling the truth."

Issildia's eyes flared..."You...you traitor!" she said, her voice disbelieving in tone "I trusted you!...I risked my life and the lives of my comrades to save your life! And this is what you do?...You joined forces with my Father!!!"
Issildia turned sharply, slamming her blade into it's sheath savagely. "Nadorhuan! Amin feuya ten' lle!" she said in her native tongue. She then glanced back at him, "Amin delotha lle." she uttered with venom, before her form disappeared into a swirl of shadows.
~~~~~~~~~~~ Issildia reappeared at the base of the tower of Vestain where the Ryera had arranged for Issildia and her companion's supplies to be, so they could leave when they choose. There were a trio of horses in full tack waiting there was well. Issildia wasted no time in gathering what little provisions she would need and mounting one of the sand colored steeds.
She was through with this...she should have never come to the desert in the first place.
"Rima." she said lowly, this command spurred the desert horse into a swift canter as it climbed the sandy slope that led away from the Tower of Vestain. As soon as it topped the rise it broke into a rough gallop into the desert...
(((Translations~ Nadorhuan! Amin feuya ten' lle!=You Coward!, How dare you. Amin delotha lle= I hate you.)))
Streak knew what he had done was terrible and such felt very guilty for it. Only one thought hit his mind. It was not revenge, but began with the same to letters. He had to find a way to redeem himself, even if it caused his own death. He had to think of something, and he'd need help. One person's name came to mind. Luin. He ran as quickly as he could to the tower. He saw Issildia in the distance on a horse. A tear came to his eye, but he quickly shuck it out. He ran through the door and entered the room that had been entered once before by his body, but not him. He looked around the room to see if he could see Luin. "Luin, are you here?" Streak shouted.
Luin Ryera's form appeared out of the shadows that clung to the edges of the room. "So...it seems you finally told her...I have to say I haven't seen her this enraged since Demitri's death " A dry sarcastic smirk crossed Luin's face as he said this glancing over at Streak.
"I need your help. I need to find a way to redeem myself. I'll do anything." Streak said. "I'm begging you."
Luin almost seemed sincere when he next spoke, "There is little I could do for you in that respect...but the most obvious thing to do, you to be to ask for forgiveness...Issildia is a difficult person to read, even with my abilities she often surprises me, giving punishment when forgiveness would seem do, or perhaps offering a second chance when none should be given..." his voice faded off at this and looked at Streak. "Redemption is a difficult thing to attain, and Issildia knows this well, should you ask, you may find forgiveness...."
Streak nodded. "Thankyou." Streak said as he left. He ran down the stairs and mounted onto a horse and headed in the direction he'd seen Issildia going. He whispered something in the horse's ears and it flew in the direction. Its legs were moving so fast that it seemed that the legs weren't even touching the ground. Streak ducked so he could go faster. The Sun was soon to set and it seemed to taunt Streak. He countinued on.
Eventually he could see Issildia in the distance. He didn't want to call out as it may slow him down or make her speed up. He just continued at his pace. Maybe Issildia would notice him. Surely she would at least sense him.
Issildia had easily caught up with the retreating Larovian army, catching sight of their retreating ranks only a few minutes of leaving the Ryera camp. She wished to know the terms of this agreement that Streak had made with her father. It was only fifty or so yards behind the retreating larovian ranks that Issildia sensed Streak's presence, yet she continued on...obviously she could no longer be sure of his loyalties.
It was as she thought this that the Tel'Domeduathea launched their ambush. Sand suddenly rose up from the ground around Issildia, who leapt off the frightened horse that she rode, before it had the change to allow it's fears to set it. As the beast barreled away back into the desert, the sand hissed in circled around Issildia, making it difficult to see the six shadows that had risen up from the earth to surround her. As she heard the hiss of a sword being drawn Issildia drew her own but before she could move to block; one of the robed figures of the Tel'Domeduathea leapt out from behind her and kicked her knees out from under her and had his blade set beneath her jaw along her neck as she fell to her knees. In an unseen instant another of the larovian assassins tore her blade away from her hands and wound a length of Altherie chain around her wrists to restrict her from using her celtarie or anierian abilities to escape.
"Excellent ,Commander...you brought the exile right to us...our Lord will be most pleased" said Valrien as he tore away the cowl of his cloak and turning to Streak and bowing slightly. The sand storm abated as Streak neared, and Valrien stood. A look of venom was still in his eyes as he addressed streak as his commander, but there was a slight gleam of respect there as well...after all his commander had delivered Reinsen Nevar's own daughter right into their hands...
(((lol plot twist xd )))
((Hmm.....you've definatly made this hard for me sweatdrop )) Streak catapulted off his horse. He wasn't sure what to think. He saw Issildia on the ground. "I guess this is decision time." As Streak walked up to them all he looked from Valrien to Issildia to Valrien again. The Sun looked nearly ready to set. It was then Streak knew what he must do. "Forgive me." Streak whispered. His voice barely audible. He drew he blade and it looked as if he was going to kill Issildia. But instead he sung his blade around and slashed through Valrien. "Let her go." Streak shouted out to the others. ((I no longer command them and I am giving you permission to kill Streak using them or even Reinsen.))
