Congrats to all those currently pregnant or with newborns!! xd

Silly, Jonathan Alan sounds nice. 3nodding I have nephews named Jonathan and Alan.

Shinys, good luck with your upcoming birth! Getting close! I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable right now.

FreeYourSoul, congrats on the boy! Seems a lot of women here are having boys! I don't know mine's gender yet, but will find out if/when I can.

I'm just now starting to feel a bit better after weeks of hyperemesis and a 21 hour stay in the hospital for dehydration, followed by a week of bedrest, a sinus infection, and a bout with falling down the stairs (baby's ok though.) I hope my nausea doesn't return too badly because although insurance finally covered my prescription of Zofran I'm needing, they'll only cover 3 tablets because it's so expensive, and that won't last me long!

My husband is actually the one that's getting impatient! He's so anxious to see his little boy, and to hold him. I am, too, but I'm reminding myself that I've still got quite a ways to go; I'm not due 'til February 19. I'm more excited right now about getting his little nursery set up; I've been planning it out for some time. 3nodding I'm trying to just take this whole pregnancy slowly; I don't want to get impatient, or overexcited.
I bet 100% by the last month you will be impatient and anxious too... blaugh I've got 11 days to go now... and I'm about ready to go nuts... and the braxton hicks contractions don't help, they make you go 'am I in labor? Is it finally time?' LOL I'm trying very hard to be patient, but it's driving me nuts... I have everything of his washed with the special baby detergent and the whole nursery cleaned about ten times now (including the floor scrubed on hands and knees LOL) and my room cleaned just as well and I tried to do the yard, but it started to rain then it started to snow so that I couldn't get to the plants that needed cutting and rakeing... >.< and I've cleaned this whole house from top to bottom.. then I revamped my guild because I was out of things to do around the house... I'm trying to find anything to take up my time, and it's not working... time has decided to crawl, you'll see, the last month feels as long as the rest of the pregnancy all put together!

I'm sorry about your hospital incedent... I had to go get re-hydraded a while back, that's no fun... I'm not sure about the other stuff, but hospital stuff is never fun... so I'm sure you've had a bit of a hard time...
Thanks for the luck, it can't hurt ^_^ I'm sure my son and I will do just fine. ^_^ And I agree, it seems like everybody is having boys... odd isn't it?
You have lots of rest and feel better! And be careful around the stairs! no more falling down!

I've been having terrible nesting feelings-I want to get started onhis nursery SO BAD! gonk I am really excited about the baby getting closer and closer to his arrival, and I find myself constantly occupied with thoughts of me holding him and changing and feeding him. ^_^ It keeps me up at all hours of the night, too! I think we're going to start working on his nursery around the 20th, assuming we have enough money to do so; we have bills and things we have to pay first, and with Thanksgiving on the way, I have to prepare my pie (this year it's pecan, 'cuz it's hubby's fave, and it's his first Thanksgiving with my family). My baby's nursery is my top priority as of right now, though. I'll probably be spending a lot of time in there getting it all ready and stuff, and trying to pass my next 98 days away! blaugh

Y'know, I actually heard that boys have a higher birth rate than girls. I think it's somewhere along the lines of 60:40, in favor of boys. I'm not sure it's true, but I've heard it on one of those studies they do on TV all the time. confused

It's not that drastic, very minimal difference.

In 2002, 1048 boys born for every 1000 girls, in the US.

*Ish excited.* I have another ultrasound coming up in a few days, so I'm hoping to get some more pictures of the baby. He's really active, usually becoming more so during or after I've eaten. I've noticed though when I can't sleep at night, that's when he's most active. I know it's normal for babies to be more active at some point then another during the day. I guess my concerns about it would be when I'm closer to my due date though. Is he going to be the type of baby that won't let me get any sleep at all with all his constant moving?

I know how you feel. I'll have it throughout most of the day, but it becomes the most bothersome when I'm trying to get to sleep and can't.

just thought I'd pop in an say, I actully belong in this thread (way back in the first couple pages i made a post) now.
I am 16 weeks pregnant, and due in May. I am scheduled to have an ultrasound on dec 11th (I have had 2 trans vaginal ones earlier on in the pregancy, 6weeks and then again at 7, they wanted to make sure the baby wasnt in the wrong place I guess) They nearly scheduled me for another the last time i was in the hospital (got very dehydrated and disoriented, and couldnt answer thier questions, so they thought since i was having pains I might have a tubal pregancy (even after the first two ultrasounds)
the pains were jsut the "round ligaments" in my pelvic area that a few of you may know what I'm talking about.
This is my third baby as some of you who remember me may already know.

I am kind of hoping for another girl, my current youngest is a girl and she keeps talking about a little sister.

It's officially January 1st here in Missouri, and that means that some time next month, I'm FINALLY gonna have my wee-one! heart eek I went over to my mom's house with hubby and she asked if I was nervous at all yet. Nope! I'm probably a little too excited, but certainly not nervous. Oh, and I'm a bit on the impatient side. Not because I'm thinking, "Oy, get him outta me already!" but more on the lines of "I wanna hold him now and see him now!"

I'm due February 17-that doctor told me the 24th, the 19th, and now the 17th. I think that's due in large part to the fact that I didn't have a doctor until closer to week 20, so it was a little harder at first for them to detrmine a due date. But hey--the sooner the better! blaugh My husband and I are really hoping that he decides he's ready for the world on Valentine's Day simply because that'd just be cool. My husband says Tristan'll grow up to be romantic and all the women will fall for him. Hopefully, Tristan won't fall for all the women, too, though... confused

I've been trying to find productive things to do to keep my mind occupied. I don't like mindless things to pass time; I like to accomplish things. I've been thinking up a list of what he's going to need, what I'll need to take with me for my hospital stay, housecleaning, writing, reading, etc. I've gota get all of his clothes washed and ready for him, too.

47 days isn't that far away, and the day just keeps getting closer and closer. xd I can't wait to have one of those wonderful and whimsy stories to tell about the labor and everything, and for everyone to see the pictures of my wee-one from his escape from the womb! heart

Thanks for moving that here. I had totally forgotten this thread existed, apparently. sweatdrop

My Baby Shower is in 10 days! I'm excited about it, then again, I'm not so much. I keep thinking that I'll be seeing thousands of people that I don't even know because my mom is inviting a few of her friends from work-just so I can get more gifts (she says), and then I also keep seeing that I'm going to be getting copies of the same gifts, over and over; I'll end up with the same outfit 5 times over--or maybe all I'll get is clothes! gonk I've been trying to tell as many people as possible that my little guy doesn't need anymore clothes (sure, he could always use a little extra, but he needs other things, too), because my mom has been buying all sorts of random things for him. Blankets, crib sheets, diapers, bottles, toys-anything along those lines are what I'm needing for him most.

My mom almost ordered Bovarian Cream cake...that was the nastiest crap I've ever had in my LIFE! I got it for a B-day cake a couple years back and had to try and pick out all the cream, because it was too rich for me. I told her NO and so she's getting a marble cake with whipped cream icing-something I'm looking forward to. ^_^ The other thing I'm not thrilled about are all the games. And the belly-groping. Tristan won't like that either, I'm sure. He gets all sorts of angry after my doctor appointments and kicks furiously. X_X

Yay! My pregnancy is almost over with!
I'll be 31wks on Monday! I can't wait for the lil boy to be here.
My back is killing me & he's head down already. So it
feels like i have a bowling ball between my legs.

I also have been diganosed with GD a few
days ago in this pregnancy. So i'm gonna have to start
talking to a dietiest & etc...and check my blood sugar 4
times a day. And i happen to be really anemic.
I really can't wait till it's all over.
Haha.

And so far i've gained 11lbs throughout the
whole pregnancy, & i'm in my 7th month.

Yay, congrats! You're only a little bit behind me. I'm 34 weeks. ^_^ I'm having a boy, too, and I'm SO EXCITED! I really can't wait to hold my wee-one. He's not quite head-down yet, though, and I hope it isn't a problem but I'll probably find out by tomorrow at my doctor appointment. I've gained almost 30 pounds through this entire pregnancy, though, and my doctor always gripes at me about gaining too much weight. xp
